Sooo, is this good, bad or just ugly... I suck at mids but I gave it a shot. I want to try and get as close to softcap but still keep other defenses close to 20%

My search fu is weak..I have looked for a WM/ELA guide but can't find one. Anyone have a link to one?

Why would you use shockwave for farming? To me that limits you because of the KB effect. Unless you create a farm where the minions have KB protection. Which I am not sure you can. Eviscerate does just as good damage wise and it is what I use on bosses in my chain.

I have both and I like the claws better for farming. It comes down to personal choice really. You can lvl a claws brute up in 6 hours on a lvl 1 map btw... I did that.

I have a claws and I tried DB...I tried both on the same fire farm. To me, Claws out performed DB. I deleted the 50 DB I just leveled up. Of course, I was using /FA with both.

Guess now I need to figure out where I can take slots away or dump a power to put slots in Channelgun.

I play on Virtue and don't charge...Its boring running AE alone. But as the OP goes..as long as the build works for you, who cares.

I love my claws/fa brute. I didn't take follow up, but I may rethink my build. My chain usually consist of FE+burn+spin+ball lighting+elec fences+eviscerate and repeat. I usually lead off with Ion judgement just for giggles. i usually have to shoot off consume every once and a while.

I never thought about the accuracy that much since I have tactics running. I will think about taking the procs out. I have been putting it together slowly as it is farming AE with my brute.

I wonder if you set a map up on the boat maps(can't remember the actual map name)or any outside map that you could possibly get high enough that they can't reach you, but you could still hit them with your AOE's.

I personally like to throw it at those guys in the far back who think they're too good to come over and get beaten down
As for the ones having problems when reaching higher levels, I would suggest using a few oranges from time to time. I've found that it greatly helps as you -will- receive damage, enemies still have a 5% chance to hit you at the softcap and with that many trying, a few attacks certainly will hit.
Other than that, you can track one of your defenses (Powers - Combat Attributes - Defenses, right click one and choose track) and see where you're at, since it's certainly easy to see three purples as four (at least for me). Also nice to track down your damage bonus and see when you're at the cap and when you're not. -
i used the nades with my brute but I didn't like the KB. maybe I was doing it wrong. :P
