I figured I'd throw my advice hat into the ring, too.
You have a lot of stuff slotted for the max end bonuses, but do you really think you'll need so much considering you have stygian circle? I don't have much issue with endurance on my WS, and she only has 4.5% max end bonus (though she does have 27% recovery bonus, too). I find I slaughter stuff in a big hurry, then stygian from the carpet of dead bodies I leave in my wake. The only time I ever really find myself having end issues is if I am pounding for a long time on a single hard target while I am in dwarf (i.e. no bodies to stygian off of).
Stygian Circle is particularly helpful for solving end issues if you slot it for end mod and end reduction. It has such high heal numbers out of the box that I am rarely left wanting for health. Consider replacing the Miracles you have in there with Efficacy Adaptor End Mod, End Mod/Rech, End Mod/End Red.
I also STRONGLY recommend slotting Dark Extraction with Expedient Reinforcement Acc/Rech, Acc/Dam, Acc/Dam/Rech, End/Dam/Rech and Soulbound Allegiance Dam/Rech, Chance for Build Up once you hit 50. It gives excellent enhancement numbers (74% acc, 95% dam, 95% rech, 21% end red) and great bonuses (5% status res, 3% global damage, 6.25% global recharge, 16% regen). And let me tell you, that proc goes off ALL THE TIME. With all the aoe's fluffy uses there are many, many opportunities for it to fire since it makes a check for each target. Since they added the buff icon for build up procs in i16 I am continually amazed at how often it's up.
If you decide you are willing to forgo some of your max end bonuses you might consider frankenslotting Eclipse with 4 rech/res. You want Eclipse up as quickly as possible. Overlap is good; it gives you a cushion in case the timing for firing it off doesn't work out well (recharge debuffs, getting mezzed, etc).
I'm kinda "meh" on the medicine pool, to be honest. Stygian is really, really, really good, lol. Doing away with Medicine would allow you to get Inky Aspect (great for stacking with Grav Em to keep bosses perma-stunned - especially Dark Ring Mistresses, grrr) and Unchain Essence. Unchain becomes a great power in high recharge builds.
Here's my current build on live. It's pricey, yes, but it is a monster to play. It might give you some ideas. I've come up with a new build that includes Quasar that I'm going to respec into in the near future.
All that being said, however, Warshades are incredibly fun to play regardless of slotting strategies. Do what's fun for you!

Quote:
The damage that the proc provides is not impressive nor is the 16% chance for it to fire off for each decoy.
Personal preference, not saying anyone is wrong for doing it, but if I did it I would feel like I was wasting something.
For what it's worth, the difference in recharge between my slotting with the proc and yours without it is 1.1 seconds. ED is a harsh mistress. -
At lvl 50 I find the best slotting to be Expedient Reinforcement Acc/Rech, Acc/Dam, Acc/Dam/Rech, End/Dam/Rech combined with Soulbound Allegiance Dam/Rech, Chance for Build Up.
After ED's effects, that slotting gives 74% accuracy, 95% damage, 95% recharge, 21% end reduction and a 16% chance for build up with each attack Phantom Army uses.
In addition, that slotting gives the following set bonuses: 5% status resist, 3% global damage buff, 6.25% global recharge, and 16% regen.
It's pretty sweet. -
Welcome the the world of warshades.
You have so much to look forward to: Gravity Well, Stygian Circle, Gravitic Emanation, Stygian Circle, Dark Extraction, Stygian Circle, Eclipse, Stygian Circle.
Oh, there's also Stygian Circle.
P.S. Take Stygian Circle! -
I dunno, it seems to me that mass hypnosis > fulcrum shift > terrify would put out some serious AoE dmg for a controller. Yeah, it would take a while to get there, but still.
I play a lot of controllers and I've never really lacked for damage. Well, OK, the grav/FF I leveled to 50 pre-containment lacked some damage. But nowadays if you slot your ST immob and ST hold for damage (or in mind's case swap immob for sleep) you get 2 respectable blasts. The base durations on those powers is pretty beefy, so you won't really be giving up much control. Mind also gets levitate which does really nice containment damage. AND you get the aforementioned terrify. -
Quote:Redlynne, can you publish that build in a way that someone on a Mac can see it? We can't use Mids. I'm curious to see it.

Quote:Holds (Fossilize, Ice Arrow, Volcanic Gasses, EMP Arrow): I was thinking Lockdown sets for the ranged Defense. Might it be better to Franken-slot these powers to maximize the effects?
Personally, I would suggest slotting a full Thunderstrike set in Stone Prison and Fossilize. They both have a hefty base duration, so they don't really need enhancing for immob/hold.
I think you will get way more use out of the damage (they make decent single-target ranged attacks) and a full TS set gives 3.75% ranged defense AND it gives it via a 1.25% at 3 slots and a 2.5% at 6 slots. Therefore it doesn't count toward the five bonus limit for 3.75% defense. Makes it easy to use in conjunction with Lockdown's 3.75% ranged bonus.
I'm working on getting all the materials together for my final Earth/TA build. It will have capped ranged and aoe defense with hover to keep me out of melee. I'll drop to 42.9% aoe if I shut off hover to use stalagmites, though. It should be pretty fun. Here's my build, it may give you some ideas.

Also, can someone tell me the correct formatting code type to use in Mid's export options so I can post the actual build in readable form in my post (instead of using the data chunk that folks import into their Mid's)? I've tried all the ones available in my i16-updated Mid's, and none of them seem to work... -
You've come up with some great ideas, MK. Now if we can just get the devs to act on them...
-
Quote:Ooh, yeah, I totally misread the OP. I was thinking of an in-game method of checking on stuff without having to actually go to the WW building.Never going to happen. Would discourage people from logging in.
While I would definitely like to have an out-of-game method, I agree that it will never happen.
<practices basic reading comprehension> -
Basically it depends on what you want to accomplish with these teams. Max lvling speed? AV duoing? Farming drops? General all-around usefulness?
I'd say you pretty much can't go wrong if you have one character that can mitigate incoming damage (particularly the alpha strike) and one character that can dish out damage (particularly AoE), so your combos sound great. -
OK, time to port this change to WS's Shadow Cloak.
That and letting us have any level of customization. -
So. Totally. Signed.
I can understand having to actually go to WW to drop off or pick up the physical items, but being able to check sales and purchases or place actual bids would be so full of win.
Would be a huge QoL improvement for those of us that use the market a lot.
Please, devs? Pretty pretty please? -

Here's my build for my triform shade: It's definitely not cheap, but it's a ton of fun. I realize it's not quite what you were asking for, but it only took me a few seconds to post it so I figured, why not.

Quote:Good Lord! Well, I just respec'd and took my tri form Warshade against a group of +1 Warriors.
And she was @#!$ing devistating!! I know I wouldnt have made it thru the missions with a human only Warshade.
So, I'm a believer. Thanks everyone who posted on here and pointed me in the general direction. It's good to know that after 5+ years I dont know nearly everything about this game.
If you haven't already, start slotting your tri-form for +recharge bonuses. Tri-form 'shades benefit from recharge more than any other AT I've played (with the possible exception of ill/rads). More pets, more controls, more aoe's, more uptime on mires and most importanly, Eclipse. Decimations, Crushing Impacts, Posi Blasts, LoTG globals, Expedient Reinforcements, Oblits, and purplespurplespurples are your friends!
Eclipse, how I love thee... -
I'm good in the evenings this weekend, after 6:30 pm MDT.
-
Well done!
Nice job on the extra credit screenies.
See the receptionist for your membership card and executive washroom key. -
Man, it's like an avalanche of ebil today. You, me, The Goat...
Congrats! -
Grats, Nethergoat!
In all honesty, I'm a bit shocked you aren't a charter member of Club Ebil.
Slacker... -
Grats!
Time to spend it and earn it back. Your spending will help fuel someone else's ebil. -
Oh, most assuredly she is purpled out. 203.85% global recharge. If I'm quick on the trigger I can get 4 pets out for about 10 seconds or so. It's kind of ridiculous, actually. Ridiculous, but fun and very powerful.
I was lucky in that I undertook that effort before purple prices went insane after AE's release.
By the way, I want to thank all of the incredibly helpful folks in this forum. I don't post much, but I am a hardcore lurker. You guys are pretty selfless in how you freely announce all the Secrets of Ebil for anyone to avail themselves of. Kudos to you all! -
No kidding! I've been running a few +0/x8 Battle Maiden missions a night since i16 went live and I've gotten 7 purples, including 4 (4!!!) in one night. Another time I got 2 in one run.
I'm a little worried karma will catch up with me and I will never get another purple drop. Ever.
