Does anybody have any experience of this?

I am merc/traps and I want to remain invisible but I;ve never used the power and the description says you cannot use powers that affect others.

1)Can I still order my henchman around?
2)Does the leadership and supremacy buff still apply when i'm invisible?
3)Can I lay traps at all?
4)Can I hand insps to me henchmem?

after 3 slotted stamina, make sure you have 2 end reductions in snow storm and arctic fog.

I also now have one end reduction in every attack.

What level are you?

I still have some endurance problems but only in a VERY long fight... it should get better for you with single origins (assuming you are below level 22)

sonic/thermal is a really solid build too.... good team support and nice blast which reduce resistance.

Make Ice/kin... shortly to become flavour of the month due to blizzard/ice storm accepting buffs now

I'm hoping to get some cut back form of ice armor in the epic pools when Issue 7 comes along

I must admit sometimes when I'm playing with my ice/cold corruptor I wonder why I actually need to team beyond generating bigger enemy groups

The only problem with sonic cage type powers is that they won't be affected by aoe attacks which go a long way in the war of attrition which is killing the baddies in the post-ED world.

consider getting ice storm earlier. You won't be disapointed. Just remember to lay tar patch down first!

With scourge you can finish off a huge mob of enemies in one go. So satisfying.

It does as much damage as bitter ice blast, just over time

Just in case anyone finds themselves uing this type of corruptor, it turns out that the Slag heaps (slag golems, etc) have 100% resitance to slows so be careful when fighting them

tar patch + ice storm will do serious damage and will also keep them under the storm until it dies out.... hold any people near the edge of the storm with freeze ray but I'm sure you knew that.

you could use freeze ray to hold a baddie nearby for a ready supply of heals

And yea, drop stealth... shadow fall is a group stealth as well as +def and +res (to psi and energy I think)

I slot ice bolt with 1 acc/3dam/2 recharge so it's up very quickly and fills in the gaps between the other two attacks. Ice blast slotted 2 acc/3 dam/1 end reduction. Bitter ice blast slotted 2 acc/3dam/1 range (to make it;s range closer to the range of the other two.

I have never taken frost breath - it's brawl index is only slightly above ice bolt and in my opinion ice storm is a superior aoe. However, if you are mainly PvE then it might be worth taking it.

I'm resistant to slows myself because of arctic fog so embrace won't work.

Also, I grounded him using snow storm and hovered above him

Couldn't kill him though :/

I nearly killed ice duke in pvp the other day - he's an ice tanker.

He might have been resistant to my slows but not to my holds when they stacked up!

After extensive use I can say that frostwork is great. It turns my ice dominator mate with arctic air and chilling embrace into an alpha strike absorbing, damage debuffing virtual tank. It makes brutes even more brutish, and if someone;s is trouble with a bit too much aggro, frostwork can make the difference between life and deatn if you catch them soon enough.

It's a pre-emptive heal or sorts and technically the only form off all round resistance you can get in the game.

currently slotted with 1 +3 recharge reduction, I can keep two people on a team perma frostworked. Will slot with heals next

With speed boost I can keep fury up indefinitely but without it I need to rest every 3rd fight.

Pah, for sure you can't herd full maps of +6 anymore but tankers are still very viable, you just need to adapt, all these people crying their eyes out because they are nerfed and gimped and 'Ah, those were the days..' are just too lazy to try and adapt!!
We all had to adapt, I lost 3 pets with I5, I had my AoE holds severly gimped but STILL you see loads of people playing controllers..They've been tuned down to the other ATs, maybe for tankers have been more dramatic because they were SO OVEPOWERED that it was ridiculous, so they suffered more for the loss, but ANY AT HAD TO ADAPT, WHAT'S WRONG WITH TANKERS THAT THEY CAN'T ADAPT BUT JUST CRY?!?!

I'll do whatever I choose. I think I'll stick with my new villains rather than try and resurrect a hero that holds no excitement for me any more.

joe chott's character builder lists the duration of frostwork as 45 seconds which did seem too short for this sort of buff (compared to others). It lists the recharge as 60 seconds so that's consistent. Has anybody used the power for themselves? I'm pretty sure it doesn't heal at all, just increases max hp like dull pain (but without the heal)

I find tp foe and recall friend completely indispensible in both pvp and pve so I can't drop those powers.

Also, you are completely right, I want ALL the powers it's so hard to choose. I thought about going with super jump to free up an extra power but I just love tp
Anybody know which powers have resistance to slow besides arctic fog?

Currently level 22, my ice/cold corruptor is pretty handy for pvp and pve.

I have some questions if anybody can help. Does anybody know the numbers for frostwork? I know it's not a heal but a hit points increase but what is the duration like? can it be made perma on somebody out of the box (ie without slotting)?

Second question: does anybody know which powersets (and specific powers) have resistance to slow effects?

mr cuddles has aid other shannon but I hardly ever used it - just took it as a precursor to aid self 3 slotted with heals and 3 slotted with interrupt reducers so it works as a combat heal.

Yes, it is getting a LOT worse. I suggest you send a petition every time it happens, that's what I try and do. Instantly ignore the "please help us to help you by answering these irrelevant questions" email they send you and send a new petition when it happens again.

To fix the last problem you reported, exit the mission then re-enter (if you can be bothered to wait another half hour for the instance to load)
