Today is Happy Arachnoes day?

I'm not really picky about RPers. As long as you're not trying to be a direct knockoff trying to live out a crossover fantasy things are a-ok.

Well, this is how I feel.

There is stagnation. There are things in the game that nobody is willing to endure, like a majority of the TFs. THe fact I can color my powers in i16 is not an incredibly strong selling point. It's good that other people are very excited for it, though.

Going Rogue is being so tightly kept secret and the uninformative press releases(or should I say "press reiterations") annoy me a little, making me feel like the expansion is either still in pre-production hell, or may not be as exciting as the CG movie and meager hype make it to be.

I liked the CoH game, but a combination of small content and population factors make it seem hard to get online.

Come, and we can knock all the sparkly vampires off the rafters together!

Speaking of, a mere 2 pieces of cheese pizza yesterday had me all hunched over like some kind of hunched over thing today.

999 day, huh?

Where is my world-changing, cataclysmic event that thrusts us into an era of tough survival and terrors, mixed with unearthed wonders and forgotten enemies?

Hmmm.

*slips in quietly*

Watched the prez address the schoolkids a couple minutes ago. If it takes a someone big to say "stay in school" to snap some of these kids out of their apathy, there's a good chance the president moved some people. There was 0 politics in it, much to the dismay of some incendiary dissenters.

I wanted to believe in the mission writing, but it requires way too much suspension of disbelief. There are kill-alls that tell me that I picked up a clue in the most boring way. Half the time I don't read those stupid clues. In fact, the clue UI is GARBAGE.

In all my 50 levels the clues have been crappy and have failed to enhance the plot enough. They have been used as substitutes for excellent, up-front storytelling. When I can ignore the mission instructions and just turn up my speakers for glowies while mindlessly spamming all my attacks until my enemies die and using my travel power to zoom into the next pull, that is BORING.

Where's the thought?

Going Rogue could potentially be more of the same. I have been paying attention to the way they've handled information and press releases. They seem to want to make us think something tremendous is in store. Well, I don't think so. I feel they are placing a veil over Going Rogue and when they lift it many people will be disappointed.

I don't think I can tolerate mittens any longer.
