Okay, I am nearing level 44 and still have no idea what IO sets I should be gravitating towards. Now I read this and think to myself that I should be REALLY putting a lot of thought into this.

Question is, I am completely clueless about what IO sets give defense and not really sure what other nifty bonuses I should be leaning towards. So, as a Eng/Elec does anyone have any advice? I've been playing a few days past my first month and could use a point in the right direction.

Hyperstrike - Yea, I cant remove it from my powers list. I took it off my bar.

Chaos Creator - I have Going Rogue but the toon I purchased the transporter for has never been there. I bought it from Wentworth's. So if it can only be used in Praetoria, why was it for sale in Wentworth's? Why did the description not detail the limitations of the device? It was only 10k inf and I am not upset with the purchase. I just figured I would share my experience in case someone else did the same thing they could find the answer on the forum without trading a weeks worth of emails with Support. I really didn't see the need for the sarcasm, either. Not all of us have been playing for nigh on forever.

Well I bought one of these things and Im posting here for others who might see this and decide to purchase. No where in the description does it mention this but I found out (after a series of emails exchanged between me and support) that these things only work for Praetorians.

Be warned.

The sad part is I cannot figure out how to remove it from my powers list and i cant use it. Im gonna try to resell it but I wish I could add a disclaimer to the auction so others aren't as easily duped as I.

You might want to try turning down video acceleration to see if it is the video card. you can do this by running the DXdiag tool.

5years? hmm, the average lifespan of any piece of hardware is 3 years. anything past that and you are on borrowed time. of course, all things considered, you will see a variable lifespan for any component based on use and environment.

do not count the video card out as i think this is your problem just from the symptoms described. it will be a tough find to replace the card as the 4 series was borderline pci/agp. both of those video standards have now been completely taken over by pci-e.

my advice would be to try another video card (if you have one handy) and see if the problem persists. If that is not an option, you can search pricewatch, newegg, or ebay for a suitable replacement. I listed those in order of preference.

What does "Quality of Life" (yay for google), have to do with adding double clicking to the interface? Are you truly going to sit there and say that your "QOL" is diminished because of the lack of a single feature that is indirectly connected to actual play?

Just seems like a lack of resources that could be better spent elsewhere. I mean we are all just sharing our two cents here, but lets be realistic. I could see if this was a wish list item, but it is posted in the "Suggestion" forum and seems a bit superfluous as a legitimate suggestion.

I see this last page are the most recent entries for an SG. Is there a more current list of SG's on Protector?

So moving you hand a quarter of an inch to the right and clicking a the mouse button a second time is to much of an inconvenience? You would want the developers to divert their attention from content and bug fixes to install this bit of code?
