Glad someone reposted this - for whatever reason the thread I put up on the subject got nuked. Every bit of support helps and I'm glad Scott took the time to give us some front page exposure. Go PvP!

Quote:Amen! And it's things like this that make me believe NCSoft shut down City of Heroes because it was an embarrassment to them -- they bring Korean-style grinders to the US market again and again, and they keep sliding off into oblivion as people realize what a horrible, endless grind the game is for little payoff... while City of Heroes, almost the complete antithesis of Korean-style grinders, keeps bumbling along -- no sweeping success, but still making steady money for the company. By killing City of Heroes, NCSoft can look at its stable of MMOs and convince itself that when it brings a Korean-style MMO to the Western market and it flops, it flops because the Western market doesn't want an MMO about the subject of the MMO, and turn a blind eye to the reality that the Western market doesn't want Korean-style grinders, regardless of subject. By existing, City of Heroes is walking proof that NCSoft doesn't have a clue what the Western MMORPG market wants. So it had to go.

For those following the game, there's also a preview of Boobs and Shame... er, Blade and Soul... up at Ten Ton Hammer:

Trying not to cross post here, and by all means I stand behind anime, the Asian MMO fantasy genre, etc... but I can't and won't support a game delivered to us in this fashion. It's like NCSoft showed up at the COH funeral, kicked over the casket in mid-eulogy and set up a big blinking sign asking us to ignore the corpse that's now spilled out onto the floor and focus instead on shiny catgirl cleavage. Classy move. -

By all means support anime, the Asian MMO fantasy genre, etc... but if you feel so inclined please take the time to post response comments that point out NCSoft's 'bottom line' business practices. -
YES!!! Thank you so much!!! For those still looking for codes, I used:

It was about 10 or so up from the bottom of the list. -
Quote:The fish parts were indeed a part of the Halloween pack last year.I missed Halloween last year by one month! Is the Halloween costume pack sold every year? Are the fish bits part of it ?
I believe a recent coffee talk (sorry, don't have the link) indicated that the old pack would be going back on sale this year alongside some new Halloween content.

The recent Intrepid Informer really made me think that Nature Affinity was dropping this week. Oh well - hopefully next week?

You can slot it in pets from your secondary as well (i.e. psuedo pets from Storm, Darkness, etc), so even without henchmen you can use it, just have to wait until later in the game.

Thanks for clarifying - really looking forward to these changes!

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but it looks like the celestial rifle is bugging again with this patch - the weapon now floats below my AR blaster's hands.

Regular laptop keyboard – recently blew some compressed air into the keys to make sure it was clean, but the impaired functionality only seems to occur with CoH.
edit: quick update - seems that I can use the keys in game using SHIFT or CAPS LOCK, but not otherwise -
So recently when playing CoH, some keys (c,v,h are the primary culprits) frequently stop working until I restart the pc. This also occurs on some search fields such as Paragon Wiki, but all my other programs (Word, email, etc) have full keyboard functionality at all times.
Any clues on how to fix this? I already tried reinstalling CoH but no joy.
Edit: sorry to post essentially a tech support question but I’ve heard of other people running into this in game? Or am I just lucky somehow? :P
