I probably won't be able to make it to tonight's session, it's my brother's birthday today and a last minute meal has been organised (in a restaurant and everything...there's posh).

I have a Dual Blade/Dark Armour, and whilst endurance management was a problem initially, sets and a refining of my playstyle have helped. Also my fury generation is consistently quite high.
I don't have Oppressive Gloom, I tried it and found that I disliked mobs wandering off and away from Death Shroud and the AoEs from Dual Blade.
I have Cloak of Fear, mainly for when fighting bosses (or a panic button if I bite off more than i can chew). For Brutes, Cloak of Fear is Mag 3 fear so affects both minions and lieutenants. I tend to turn this on when fighing Bosses/Elite Bosses so the minions, etc won't attack me and they are a ready source of healing for Dark Regeneration.
My normal approach is to run only the basic armours if fighting disparately located foes (does not seem efficient to use Death Shroud in this case). If groups on a map number 3 or more I'll tend to keep Death Shroud turned on.
I do have Tough but only use it when fighting lethal/smashing damage enemies who are particularly hard hitting.
I do find if I have to run more than one of either Death Shroud, Cloak of Fear and Tough, my endurance can start to take a hit.

Hopefully by then I'll have bought the acc/mez SHO to go with the two dam/mez SHOs in spec ops to give maxed out acc, damage and mez effects...would be the perfect opportunity to test them out >

OK, my character is going to be a fire/ice blaster called Pole-Star, lvl 4 at the moment. Once the stormies have freezing rain and the ice/ controllers have ice slick I see much fun with buildup>aim>rain of fire>fire breath>fireball

Really sorry for you m8, but if she was suffering it was the best thing to do.
I speak from experience, i've had two dogs who were in too much pain and had to be put down, its not easy but it had to be done.

Echo, I would be quite interested. I had originally planned on having a storm/ice defender as I have never really clicked with Defenders and thought this team might be a good place to give one a leg up. It does seem though that quite a few people are thinking of making this combo though...hmmm.
For the moment put me down for a strorm/ice but this may closer to time based on numbers of storm/ice in the group and after the first few sessions maybe based on the final composition of the team. That is rather a long winded say of saying i'm in.

OK do guys how much do you think the following set of changes would help the stalker cause in team PvE, and would it be too much?
- Chance for AoE crits from hidden increased to 100%
- After an assassin strike, all ST attacks in the next, say, 8 seconds are criticals (enemies are so stunned they cannot defend themselves properly blah blah blah), this extends the burst of damage done, would also help in taking down bosses and the like in the later game.
- Defence/Resistance increased to tanker levels but HP kept the same (makes stalkers tougher but still falling back on a lower pool of HP) - I know this would not help /regen stalkers but maybe change fast healing to a inate health points boost (like High Pain Tolerance in the willpower set) rather than a regen boost?
- Damage scale increased from 90% to 100%
- Scaled damage against bosses/EBs/AVs for AS. -

Punch and haymaker have knockdown as well, so the total list of powers that can knock down/back and could proc are: Punch, Haymaker, KO Blow, Handclap, Hurl Boulder and Footstomp.
This was why i was planning to put explosive strike: chance for -recharge in bruiser. -

I was pondering the issue of the utility of stalkers in team PvE and lethal resistances for some stalker attack sets.
I have always imagined stalkers as the precision end of the melee world in CoV compared to the fury driven SMASH! of brutes. Brain surgeons as compared to butchers if you will.
Might this precision, the ability to spot a weakness in any enemys defence, be represented by some unresistable damage component in any attack made from stealth? Maybe, say, 50 percent. This would help address problems with resistance to lethal or smashing attacks.
On then issue of genrating more damage in the team environment (where AoE are so valuable), how about dropping the 50 percent chance to critical from hide by AoEs, and have all targets hit criticalled?

Mids hero designer says I could slot a Celerity: Stealth in Accelerate Metabolism. Does anyone know if this would stealth only myself when AM is used or would it stealth everyone affected by AM?

Hi.
I was wondering about how procs work in pets. For example, according to Mids Hero Designer I can slot a force feedback chance for recharge in my Commando. So, will the proc check to go off every time the Commando shoots or only if he shoots an attack that would knock back (the reason it can be slotted I presume)?
Any help would be appreciated -
Personally I would like to see the following changes to devices:
cloaking device so that the first shot out of hide does +50% damage (taken from base damage), taking a leaf out of PPD ghosts.
targeting drone kept as a toggle but while active gives a 10% chance to critical.
time bomb changed so it can be targetted and shot at by single target attacks to activate it prematurely.
smoke grenade I just got this and am in fact finding it very useful, but I would not object to it being converted to flash bang grenade (again as used by PPD ghosts) which debuffs accuracy and defence. -

Its a shame to see you go, I teamed with you on a few of the roleplay task forces you ran as Arctic Princess (with my now deleted character Shen Lung).
I'm not a natural roleplayer (too bad an actor) but they were a lot of fun.
