  1. I have a character I would like to transfer from one server (Liberty) to another (Virtue), I already have a transfer token.

    When I transfer a character does is the server slot moved from Liberty to Virtue? Thus if my slots read 1/1 on both servers beforehand, afterwards will Liberty read 0/0 and Virtue 2/2? (pretending I have only 2 slots available to me total.) Should I have an unused Global slot will it affected by the transfer. I would hate to find out that the system automatically decides to use a global slot.

    Given the age of the system listed you may well have an AGP card as opposed to a PCIE one. If it is AGP the last I checked the most powerful consumer end AGP cards were from ATI.

    That said you can only go so far with a video card upgrade as the current CPU is going to bottle neck most anything currently produced.
  3. I think this system looks great and is a fun way of having your hero "doing" something when logged out. The "rested XP" is a nice addition as well.

    Sure there are naysayers but I swear some on this board would complain if you announced everyone would get free back massages and a new car.
  4. Just wanted to say that this is a great guide.

    It is nice to see a guide discuss getting up in levels and focus on the powers and play style as opposed to time spent in the market to get what ever IO sets.

    To sum this thread :
    OP: barrage is a terrible power compared to other 1st tier powers.
    Other poster: Uhm no here are numbers. It's not bad really.
    OP: well it's not real good in my attack chain.

    Leading me to the question, How can any attack chain with powers like energy transfer complain about the tier 1 power?
    Really give me ET in SS and I will glady swipe people with speghetti noddles for my tier 1 power.


    Sorry how people choose to slot a tier 1 power is not indicitive of how good the power is or is not. Persoanally i think it is more indicitive of of usefull the rest of the set is.
  6. Why head do leveing guides always say go to the hollows. Persanoally I dislike the hollows. That aside The trasvel times through them pre-travel power are terrible and dangerous. If there is a death and no rex availible the trek back to a mission is very long. Also you miis the KR conatcs and the chances are you miss the Fortune teller mission. An important mission if you want to get all you r accolades.

  7. A few thoughts, I love seeing the Champions remarks. It is a great game I have played since 82. Played Villians and Viggilanties before that. Why am I saying this? I like playing super heroes. It is fun ! In Champions I play a tank. It took me a while to find what AT made CoH click for me. It is a tank. I treid tanks when i started in Feb. of this year but thought they were boring.

    Then I read Havoks (thornkillers/Bastion Prime) guide and CoH became more fun than EQ ever was.
    All that to say..
    Thanks Havok for making CoH a great fun for me.

    If I5 goes live as it is I will likely leave the game as I do not see the specific changfes as good I especially do not see the direction of forced grouping with a forced group mix as fun.
