I'd like to start off and say I love Grav/Storm. The most fun I have had on any toon.

Great for both PVE and PVP, My build at the moment is based around PVP Duels and it is class.

The one big fall back from this set is the end drain, but a well slotted Grav/Storm can get past that and mine holds out very well.

You have 3 pets with this build and pay attention to your pets they will help you in many ways:

Singy(Grav) is tough and with the right slots can do so much to keep you on your feet, my slotting on this is 4 x Soulbound A and 2 x Hamios Endo and Perx.

Tornado not worth slotting with damage as the increase is small, so 3 x An Weakness for -Def, 2 x Stupify for the stun.

And....last but by far the fun pet on Stormy side is Lightning Storm, I can have two Storms out at once with my build and with power boost the end drain is nearing 50% with each storm so x 2 end drain. Slotting for this is: (thinking Set bonuses) 3 x Eff Adap and 3 x Performance S.

So to recap these are the list of storm powers I have taken:

Gale: Leave as 1 slot
Snow Storm: (Slows and -Fly) leave as 1 slot
Steamy Mist: (Def increase) 6 slot 3xlotg, 2xgoa, 1xsteadfast +3%Def.
Freezing Rain: (-Def) 4 x touch of lady gray(For Bonuses)
Hurricane: 5 slotted with Dark Watchers for -to hits
Tornado: As stated above
Lightning Storm: As stated above.

All in all you will find the sets rewarding and I'm loving it after 3years of playing it I was tempted in making another one.

Chilli, there is a way around the dropping of the fart in the lift?

If you drop one again while on your tanker and they head for the door, drop some quick sand down and they will take longer to move......hint hint.

I've changed my build and have dropped Fire Mast for Earth......EARTH U SAY?, Yes Earth!?

The slow is great for the mobs and you can then drop your fart well with burn. you hold on to Fire sword circle and combus and take Quick Sand and Stalagmites from Earth Mast, and throw in Burn!!

I really disagree with you on this, DOT damage is great on fire and I have taken down Psy/EM for fun with my Fire/Ice in Arena(Durin MCU in case you want to know). Shiver is great works well and stops the attacks coming at you, Blasters have 3 attacks(Usual) what after that when I use shiver and I have a snow storm on you? Fire DOT is great damage still it has been reduced but the attack rate I'm hitting at it does not matter.

I urge anyone to try Fire/Ice or Psy/Ice.

What kind of stuff are you looking to do is my question?

PVP healer, TF runner(Conceal, TP) or an all round build?

If it is an all round build I have one for you give me a shout in game and see what you think!?

My healer is build for PVP and can run quick TF's as well.

I think Fahie has a point, I have a 50 Def FF/Dark PVP team build with PFF(of course) and I have been killed lots of times while in PFF there are means and ways to do this research them.

One Question what do you play to have problems? I'm putting this out and saying that your a stalker and solo?

I think I13 is great for team PVP something MoX/Horde have been working towards for some time with the build up to base raids.

PFF will help nothing in Base raids to be honest.

My god that was overpowered, you could see the mobs melting in front of your eyes was very funny to see that AV drop within 20 seconds

I disagree with your Blaster choice there, I think for PVP Fire/Ice is the way forward. Shiver alone is a great power with a big -recharge. I have a had some great times on mine and it is very hard to kill it when you can not recharge your powers hehehehe.

The fire damage with DOT are great and I have no problems with this build. People should give it a go. I have looked at the blaster post about what people have and I only see 1 or 2 50's and the rest low level.

My Blaster:

Durin MCU 50 Fire/Ice/Ice PVP build with nuke to switch to TF's and PVE. Monster damage and in PVP works really well with -recharge to all powers with Shiver plus the use of snow storm. IO'ed up and greatfun to play!!

My Empath has one attack Ele Blast 1 slot nothing in it as i never use it, Well I spot one of my lads killing a Stalker. no names meantioned...this stalker was down to about 2 HP(me thinks) so i thought why not give it a go so I used My no slotted and no enhancement attack and he was licking dirt. It said....Kid Durin Danark Defeats so and so. I then had to broadcast it hehehehe was a funny moment for me killing someone with a no attack/Emp/Defender.

I have a 50 FF/Dark, but only for team PVP (Durin Bubble MCU) Main useage for this toon is the following for me and works sooooo well:

Uncovering Stalkers away from team mates(Stalkers Hate me the amount of abuse I get is just mint!!!) No AS for you little stalkers

Uber defence with Power Build up

Buffing fellow team mates with amazing defence

PFF for protection.

I'm an ultimate buffing station

Secondary Dark has Dark watchers in all powers to slow recharge on the bad guys ur tem is fighting also works quite well.

Plus when Base raids come back it will be great to hold peeps back in the base.

All in all I have spent about 300mil on the build and it works well for PVP

My missus went out all damage on this power:

5 Crushing Impacts and 1 Mako's Bite Acc/Dam/Rec/End

I love, I mean I really love my toon, and I'd like to know other Grav/Storm peoples thoughts?

The amount of fun I've had with this toon!! WOW and I'm even thinking of making a second one, My missus(who plays the game) is sick of me saying it.."I luuuuve this toon darling, did you see what I just did?".

I will now tell you why I love this toon and tell you how it works well without causing a big mess.

This build is a very messy build and tanks hate you if you get it wrong.

First tactic:

Ensure you have Steamy Mist on(Always switch between Steamy Mist and Hurricane depending on the situation)

Step 1: Wait for the tank to go in
Step 2: Use AOE Hold. Gravity Distortion Field, this will hold most of the foes around the tank.
Step 3: Use Immob hold. Crushing Field, This will immobilise all the group ensuring the few left over are held.
Step 4: Use TP foe. Wormhole, This Teleports all the foes and stuns the rest of the pack who are still able to attack.
Step 5: Use Freezing Rain, this will knockback any of the foes left standing and does Damage over time.
Step 6: Spawn Singularity right in the middle of the remaining bad guys that have been Held, Knocked back, Tp'ed, Stunned, and Immobilised, for another dose of holds, knockbacks, etc....

All the above takes 8 seconds to do and at the end the tank says things like look at me, me take no damage me good!(not knowing that nothing could attack him anyway because you have just owned the group hehehehe)

another tactic:

And I think this works well for small groups,

Put on Hurricane.
Gravity Distortion Field,
Wormhole into a corner,
Freezing rain,
Crushing Field,
Singularity,
Lightning Storm,
Tornado.

If you do all these in order and stay close in the corner with the group you holding them there(With Hurricane) the whole group will die in seconds.

I had a scrapper last night comment on my corner issues and saying it was not fair that I do this as he could not kill anything. well funny!!!

Guys if you are looking for a FUN build, this is it,

There is always a but... the first few levels can be hard and you only start to feel the benefits after you get stamina. So the first 20 lvls, not bad!!!!!
