Fire/Fire tanker build
-U will need an acc in blazing aura, its a hit-check aura.
-Shields you need resist, not defence
-Fireball, put it 47, swap place with FE. Swap few slots so u hit 6 slots. Then a nice IO set can give it a great acc/dmg/rech.
-Tough only 2 endred max, you can put 1 to your shields.

Fire Melee with Pyre Mastery needs taunt probably the least however, I will tell you that you will have "limits" other Tanks don't.
If this is just a farming type Tank, at which, it wouldn't surprise me if nothing Tankwise beats Fire/Fire/Pyre I would of included Burn and left out Fire Sword.
Fire Sword Circle gauntlets the foes around you so that they are all taunted before you Burn which hits them for a third of its damage of 5,2 end, which is still good damage for 5,2 before they realise its time to run out, as they run out you hit them with Combustion. Combustion is of greater AoE than Fire Sword Circle which is why its after Burn, its in order to catch the runners. The runners being gauntleted again run back into Burn for a 3rd of its damage. Not everything runs though and with certain people in the team not everything can run. With an Immob or a Hold, Burn is a great single target attack also.

drop the whole CJ/SJ/acrobatics, dont need it. Get an IO called Karma. Get taunt,the aura is not auto hit, and get Burn into the build, it is the most serious damage

Typo? Looks good, i asume you picking up fighting pool in the 30s? If you pick the knockback IO's you can drop out acro, saves you a slot (2 is overal enough).

Karma is ok as your KB protection but if you have been using Acrobatics and change to this you will find you will be KB, not loads but it can come as a surprise if your not use to it as for burn this use to be a no imo for fire after the changes made to it but i have now put it back in on both my fire brute and tank, i would say however if you do want to add burn its handy if you can get a hold from the patron/epic pools until then having a troller/dom on your team is very nice
I just hit 41 with my fire tanker, having the immobilize with burn doesnt make it worth the damage anymore. This makes the fire brute considerable better, as they get the aoe immobilize patron power (Mu, dark/shark has cone iirc).
I still have it, as it helps solo alot on incomming damage while you kick the [censored] out of other mobs, however i'm EM. For the AoE of /fire, i wouldnt pick Burn anymore, unless you frequently party with a /ice blaster or any trollers.
I run around with 3 KB IO's (2 resist, 1 defence) and havent faced any major KB issues outside AV's. Havent tested against ruin mages of CoT though

Looks suspiciously like my build! I'd definitely take taunt if you want to team tank - it's auto-hit, zero endurance and will actually take aggro away from a blapper; this is hard to do with attacks alone.
As above, I'd probably drop acrobatics in favour of an earlier hasten - getting your heal up more often is how a F/F survives big mobs. Slot KB IOs, I got one in CJ and one in Fire Shield. Burn is still a useful power, took it as my L49, miss it when i exemp. Having the mobs run away and come back can be excellent damage mitigation, also works great teaming with anyone with an AoE immob - Earth trollers are your friends!
I've just respecced into the Fire Epic set, dropping weave, build up and acrobatics to get them. Fire ball is fun, but the others seem like a bit of a waste of time. Thinking i might use my 9 month freespec to get build up back, maybe dropping burn. Or maybe get ROTP, cos it looks cool.
I think Fire/Fire is a fun build and really hard but when you get to 50 wow this is a great build herding is great and as stated Healing flames help alot here is my 50 build to help you:

Blazing Aura acts as your taunt I slot one Taunt in there as well and works just fine!!

I havent got my current build in mids atm.
I use my fire/fire/pyre to do a bit of everything.
Imo tough/weave arent that needed. Not at all for farming. I dropped taunt as it isnt that hard to hold aggro really.
Burn is good but irrelevant really with all the other damage u can pump out without sending mobs screaming away from you.
My approach to my tanker is more biased towards dam output as I find this plus the excellent heal mitigates most dam u take. Slot to improve your rech so your heal is up practically perma then not much can take you down. If you are up against mobs who you arent that resistant to just use smaller herds.
Its my only 50 tanker and at first there was the point where i realised i was teh squishy tanker compared to other primaries. I am not sure on figures but I expect there are scrappers out there with equal or higher def/res than me. But once you get the balance between dam incoming and outgoing I realised the beauty of the fire/fire tanker.
And for farming I find I can keep up with fire/kins pretty well. Touch of SB and I am a farming machine.

Since I;ve been abck I haven't really touched my fire/fire tanker at all.
I played way abck when I coudl herd 5-6 packs of freakshow on drek missions into a corner and start a bonfire.
yes it was ridiculous, yes it was overpowered, but whatever anyone says, people always farm, peopel always ask for power levelling etc, and judging by the number of fire/kins out there i'm not wrong lol
Anyway, other than the 17 mob aggro cap, what is the real problem now with fire tankers?
What I've noticed so far is that the basic weakness is that unless a mob is controlled, Burn is utterly useless.
In fact it would be better used as a place for a healer to stand.
Stand here, there is more chance of a leprechaun pulling huge pot of gold from your behind than a melee mob coming in here.
its like letting one go in an elevator, you drop burn and eveyrone scarpers lol.
So, i was thinking of ways to combat this, I tired various pulls, hiding in places the mob just had to come to melee, it didn't really work.
however, i'm sure someone has tried this which is why I'm asking. If you took presence and invoke panic, could you essentially pull your 17 mobs into a corner, pop that and start your little bbq as before?
or has there been otehr changes I'm not really seeing to the fire tanker making us much weaker than before?
We have always been vulnerable to Psi, but is there anything else?
Chilli, there is a way around the dropping of the fart in the lift?
If you drop one again while on your tanker and they head for the door, drop some quick sand down and they will take longer to move......hint hint.
I've changed my build and have dropped Fire Mast for Earth......EARTH U SAY?, Yes Earth!?
The slow is great for the mobs and you can then drop your fart well with burn. you hold on to Fire sword circle and combus and take Quick Sand and Stalagmites from Earth Mast, and throw in Burn!!

for plasma shield and fire shield 3 def 3 end
Fire ball 3 dmg 1 recharge
Healing flames 3 Healing 3 recharge
tough 3 defence 3 end
