Could work, I think Bayonet has the highest DPA(I think, might have read something wrong) melee attack in the Spiders arsenal. And you can't go wrong with Pummel.

I'd dip into Mace a bit though for Build Up and for Crowd Control. Maybe Shatter for big targets.

Sounds like fun actually.

I also recently lost a family pet. Our Sharpei we had for 4 years had to be put down after a spinal injury. Got him a few months after we sighed up for CoH. Even made a few toons based on him.

Basically I:
Showed him the forums
Told him about toggles
Told him the difference between crabs and banes
Showed him the combat attributes
Showed him what the "mana burning" toggles do.
Suggested which VEAT he should roll
Told him a bit about duel builds
Suggested that he explore some, you know see the sights find badges, street sweeping etc


He knew more I think than they usual AE baby, but was still had been only playing a week. Got his first 50 in that time. I thought about global friending him, but I didn't want him to think I was a creep or something

Pretty much what I am getting at is if you see a new person, help them out a little. Show them the forums at least where they can ask about things. I suggested that he should register or at least be a lurker, and he said he would think about it.

Need some advice here. This is the build I currently have on live. I'm softcapped for melee and ranged. Not so much on AoE. I based it on teaming and for soloing. Gives 30% more damage to teams, about 21 defense to all, and some Tohit to even it out. I took VG because, what Spider wouldn't?

Oh it might look way over softcapped, but Cloaking Device suppresses, so I'm at 47/46/32 for range/melee/AoE.

I know what you mean its not FotM. Even before I made this toon, I only saw, maybe 2 BS/fire scrappers. This is on Freedom too.

A lot of MA/Fire scrappers though it seems.

I thought about making a fire/fire, but it doesn't have the crunchy feeling that BS has. And you can't customize the swords. And no Parry. AND a HS fueled by Bu and FE and hitting 4 people sounds really juicy.

On Freedom, all the ITFs I have been on we just just bumrushed him.

They would still fall short. The Brute damage cap is 700%(800?) and to reach that you need at least 2 Kins.

I might skip burn, as you said, I already have enough PbAoE powers, but saving the tankers butt sounds funny.

How would you slot BA? I was think of 6 slotting, 3 end red, 2 acc, and I damage.

Also, what IO bonuses shoul i be going for? recharge? Defense? Both?

A couple of questions, is burn worth it? I might take it for defensive purposes, or for an IO mule, but is it useful?

Same thing with Temperature Protection?

Pretty much what the title says, I was thinking of rolling a BS/Fire.
I liked my BS/Regen, and I was think they may be similar, but with MOAR DAMAGE with /Fire.

I'm just a tad worried it might be rather squishy. With Parry it will help, but can it hold up to casual play 1-50, and do some high level things?

I'll get a build up on Mids and post it tomorrow.
