Bane Build Help
What spider wouldn't take VG? I didn't! I have VG on my ranged build though. So what are you looking to accomplish? Add Pulverize, increase AoE defense, and maintain the other defenses? If that is the case, I made some changes without any purples, but some of my replacement IO's will still be expensive. I do drop your 2 purples so you can probably fund the some changes with that cash. You can of course swap out the Serendipity sets in both Maneuvers I was just including a cheap way to boost HP in those two. I even squeezed 1% more global damage, kept your melee/range defense high, and increased your AoE. I did drop SJ to make room for Pulverize, but I don't miss a travel on any of my SoA's with the cheap-o rocket packs in Gville. Hopefully this gives you some ideas though!

Ugh, this is hard. I like having a fast travel power, but I really need some extra melee damage.

I'll take a look at your build when I get home (in 12 hours heh), but from reading you post you seem to have run into what most folks do when attempting to make their banes into something high end: you have to skip out on some things you don't want to.
My bane for example is softcapped melee/ranged, is running 97.5% global rech and is 41% l/s resist with @20% everything else w/ 1700n hps... but at the expense of no travel powers and no ranged attacks.
I'm curoius to see your build as it might give me some ideas =D
Any more advice? power switches? Slotting?
Your end is going to /suck/ horribly. Here's my build with half that end use and I can't go on extended AV fights without using a blue or two.

Yea, he chugs endurance badly. It was more noticeable with out the accolades, but with them its not so bad, just as long as its not a AV fight.
I'll check it in Mids.
This is my planned build, soft cap on all positions and keeps the soft cap when exemped at level 30. No travel power but the jet packs are easy enough to acquire. 70% recharge and 49.5% damage bonus with 2x assault running.

Need some advice here. This is the build I currently have on live. I'm softcapped for melee and ranged. Not so much on AoE. I based it on teaming and for soloing. Gives 30% more damage to teams, about 21 defense to all, and some Tohit to even it out. I took VG because, what Spider wouldn't?
Oh it might look way over softcapped, but Cloaking Device suppresses, so I'm at 47/46/32 for range/melee/AoE.
