Dark Miasma doesnt do -Deff and the -Res comes from Tar Patch (which can be perma), not from Darkest Night; the -Acc + -Dmg toggle you are talking about. But! Dark Miasma does have very good -Regen and is better endurance wise than /Rad, also has a helpful pet too!

Concept wise a Sonic/Dark would be good (Dark Siren kinda thing), Sonic/Rad could be a robot or scientist thing xD, but meh whatever you want xP.

Well Cold Domination has the higher percentages for De-Buffing and also has the nice +Recovery power for its tier 9 that would help you and your friend alot. You could sync the /Cold with something like Rad/ Ice/ Sonic/ Fire/ to help take down AV's. Although like MaxPowerz said, Rad is nice; traps of course for the nearly perma -Regen trap or Dark Miasma for its -Acc and -Regen. Its up to you! But numbers wise, Cold Domination gets the larger of all of them and i think the De-Buff (Sleet) can recharge very quickly, oh and did i mention you could buff your friend with Ice Shields and give him Frostwork so he can tank the AV and you can just DeBuff and Kill!

I cannot believe you are to be so simple as to 'attack' someone who has a reputation for certain elements in the game that people did not agree with. Those issues have mainly been dealt with, i believe getting your account taken away from you is a good enough 'punishment' in your eyes, no?

If you insist to 'bad-mouth' someone or single them out, please keep it to yourself as the rest of us do not care for you own personal judgement of someone; based on a game perception but nevertheless, still judgement.

I might be interested but sometimes Tues or Thurs can be difficult days to play due to some RL issues or even another Group im apart of.

I would prefer to play the PB as i would like to level one up higher than the teens xD.

Ok thanks for all the imput guys been alot of help and i have finally know what i want. Ok so it's some down to only two options; Mind / Empathy or Mind / Force Field. The character is of Mutant Origin and is male, i have my background/description and of coruse my name.

Now i have really enjoyed the early levels of playing Mind / Empathy as it allows me to use a utility of control and have alot of support as well as healing myself. Keeps me always active and helps me get into teams quicker which is a nice but sad bonus :P. Problem is that it is mainly green and doesnt synergise with the white/colourless effects of Mind. It lacks any really strong ties with being a reporter apart from being able to help in certain dramatic situations (On scene support which i like).

However a Mind / Force Field allows for good synergy with both effects, theme and concept. Sometimes can seem a little boring but will allow me to concentrate on my Mind Primary which is what i want. Problem is i already have experienced all of Force Field with both a Deff & MM, on the other hand it will be alot different with an active (pet-less) Controller!

Could use some advice or what you think would be best fitting, even what you would personally pick :P

*Note* I do not wish to prioritise either teaming or pvp, this is purely concept.

Ok im not too sure if i am to put this on the roleplaying section of the forums but its the closest it comes to a concept character, isnt it?

Anyway i have played the game for a long time now and i have done the whole 50 and quickest to 50 and yadadadada however. . . i must confess that i am yet again getting bored of the same old routine of playing CoX! So i have decided to make a character that will include aspects of my real life and of course my fantasy. . . *waits for a sexual remark* no im not wanting to make a female character with more skin showing than a modern art gallery. . . i want to include my interest/hopeful career of becoming a journalist! *waits for hateful remark*. . . *does not care*. Anyway with that all said and done i also want the character to be limited, now by this i mean that i want to try and have a distinguished power/ability (whatever you would like to call it) not something like a double ability (Fire Blast and Electric Manipulation).

Ok with that all said and done i want to be able to solo as i tend to like my own company if i am playing a themed character, so the AT of choice needs to have the flexibility of being able to solo but to remain to the concept of just one power. . . E.g like a Mind/Psi Dom, it basicly has just one ability (Psychic Powers).

So. . . anyone got any help to aid my little dilema? Let me bullet point it so its more direct if you are to help.

I would be interested in joining, i would have to make a new Corruptor but i was thinking along the lines of either Dark/Cold or Fire/Trap :P. Union is fine with me but some tiems i am not availible or that i am doing something else with another team but i have no set dates of when i will & wont be able to play. Sorry for my little input in that last day, been very busy teaming with a regular mate (Ed knows)! Well im pushed for time this week as i said but i will try and make it either on a Tuesday or Friday (Weekends are just always good). I have already made my Tank and she is waiting in Tutorial (Yes we have a female Tank) and i have a simple but totally relevant name that i think you will all agree is suitable. . . Armour xD.

As for the costume, i have gone for the second darkest shade of black with the 3rd lightest shade of White (to add individuality to the character but keeping with the Tank icon theme) and my costume is the same as the one designed by Delvin (I have the first tech helmet). **Im of Science Origin **Armour Personel Experiment**

Well i have decided i am going to be an Invul/Nrg Tank so
Jump Diddler you dont have to! I made THE perfect build ever and im really excited to play it! The uniform and name sounds good, enough individuality but still keeping a good strong theme!

One problem though. . . i cannot do Thursday From 7pm-10:30pm i am busy.

Also busy on Wednesday got a bitchen night out planned and going to get very very drunk! So yeah could we maybe either do it Tuesday or Friday?

Well i will take Tank or Scrap then, most probably Tank because i want to be different! We still have two more places though! Hmm well its basically come down to like two or three. . . umm i think we should first short out who is actually going to be in the team (the original 8 and maybe another team if people still want to do this, two rival Mutant Groups, Two Military Groups (Example Bravo & Charlie) or even just two Departments of like Paragon Police although i prefer the Military idea to this gives us more. . . versatility ).

The quicker we sort out the teams, the quicker the team can decide on out final theme therefore its not just a random group of posters (no offence to the random group of posters we love you! Well not really cuz your kinda sad having thousands of posts. . .yeah. . .).

So Wolfman, care to pick the teams? You started this you might as well conclude it! You are our leader, if you was our Mutant i would call you Brother, if you were our Military i would call you Sir and if you were out hobo i would call you Ed. . . (note hobo's are not included in the choice of themes just for a quick joke. . . ha. . .ha. .. ha. . .)

I agree, i am really eager to to make a TA character of what AT i do not know. However the lack of serious de-buffs that each power gives is a little bit of a let down, dont get me wrong i know its power and with its qualities combined its makes for an immense debuffing machine as well as Holding, Damaging and being Bugged!!! Wooo!!! But without some form of decent -Regen (One that doesnt come up every 120's at best) its lacks the ability to really take down something like a GM or AV.

Urrrhh i know this sounds like a suggestion. . . heck its is but i just wanted to be herd! Plus it saves writing an actual topic about it and nobody replying

But yeah for a 15 second -Regen & Recovery (I Believe on EMP Arrow that can only come up every 120's and also giving you a -10's Recovery then its just not good enough!!!

Um how we went from the subject of a themed Superhero team to the Village people i dont dare to ask. . .

But Seriously guys we need to have just one vote for what theme we want, if you know politics then its FPTP (First Past The Post) im afraid which means whoever gets the most votes for just one theme wins, its a screwy system but hey its current!
