Urrrm yeah im up for a themed team! Every so often, i too am abit pushed for time these days. I have a few AT's / Characters that i would like to start and seeing as my Defiant list is full i would prefer it on Union. . .even if it is Union :P
Count me in if this all goes well, you'll need to sort out what days we are to team on. I would prefer it not to be RP as im not all that good but concept Characters is fine! :P
I hadn't intended it to be RP'ing as I just find that really difficult and awkward ingame, people cutting one another off midsentence and whatnot.
Well that's two of us, just need 5 or 6 more people, then to decide on a theme. Pity these forums arent used by everyone that plays.
Sounds good to me - a regular session is something I can explain easily to my better half 
I'm sort of in the Monday night Scarpper team but that team could be fading fast.
Monday to Thursday and after 7 are best for me ..
That suits me just fine, Fridays and Saturdays are usually busy.
Either of you got any thoughts for a theme as of yet? I've got a million ideas, from the cast of 300 to a "Zombie horde"
I have to be honest, I rarely team in game at the mo. Firstly I like to take time to read the clues, follow the plots etc and some teams are just too "rushed" to do that. Also, I have had such mixed experience in pugs that it's put me off a little. The idea of teaming with the same crowd tho, and building up an effective play style, that could be cool. 
I have a full set of heroes on Union and around 4 villains on Defiant. About 4 of the heroes are all under level 5 and all of the villains are, so starting at ground level so to speak is no problem for me.
Like some others, Fridays and Saturdays tend to be bad nights for me (but not impossible), and occasionally (once or twice a month) I have to travel for work and would be unavilable on the odd week night.
Providing the above stuff is not a problem I am up for this if ya want me. Either PM me or drop me an email in game (the global is Lady Leprecahun) and I can let you know what archetypes I could bring to the group.
For a theme, you could go for a United Nations Hero group and have them themed around different countries. I am thinking like a Captain Britain, Captain America type thing you know? It gives the characters a link but allows them to retain some individuality in their look.
Alternatively you could go the opposite way and have "The Clone Crew" All heroes will be varying ATS but will look identical and all have the same name except with differing numbers. For example Captain Clone 01 would be a blaster while Captin Clone 02 would be the Tanker or whatever. Only problem is would it look like a strange variant of a Longbow Patrol when all staning together?

An 8 man team with all the same costume and name but with either like a 01, 02 or 03 ect wouldnt be my preferance. I like Lady Lep's idea about like a United Nations group, all from different parts of the globe but with the same purpose! They dont have to be like Captain England ect, thats just an example we could come up with more original names. Or we could simply be from a Millitary background, our powers based on millitary use (not just Assault Riffles ect but like Military experiments too, for Super Soilders!). I Duno im just flying idea's but the idea of being a clone team for loses the appeal of a 8 man theme team, yes we are a team but we want individuality and originality

As for costumes, I'd like them to be similar enough to tie us together as a unit so people can go "Oh look.... It's them again.." But being totally identical might suck some of the fun out of it for people. I was hoping the powers would revolve around the team theme too, even if only loosely.
Well that makes 5 of us so far, few more and we can start debating costumes and whatnot :P

Yeah, I think we're all from the UK so the times are GMT.
I don't think two hours a day is enough time for people to grow bored of the team to be honest.
So that's 6? We could start now if that's cool with everyone. If anybody wants to join between now and us choosing a theme and deciding who's who they'll be welcome to.
So how about everyone that has an idea for a theme posts it, then we can take a vote.
I'll just toss "Beasts and Monsters" out there to get us started.

Ninja's - Bows and arrows, Martial Arts etc
Medievil Knights - Broadswords, Bows and arrows, armour and all that jazz
The United Nations - Basically any power set, Similar costumes with a Nations initial or flag symbol.
Robots - Matching Armour, Energy, Electrical, Super strength etc
Badasses - Leather Jackets, shades Who knows
300 - Spartan Soldiers, Broadswords.... AHROO!
Dwarfs - .... Dwarves
Aliens - Alien face for squishies, Alien Helmet for Brawlers?

A TF2 inspired character by me for giggles which has turned out me playing him. If you see Red Demoman around, please give him a wave or some alcohol, lord knows he has a better temper when drunk. :P

First off, showing my advancing age and ignorance here but... a TF2 theme? Whats TF2?
Not really grabbed by the Hobo theme to be honest. A super hero version of "The Beggars" from Discworld is bit too much to get my head around.
The knight is armour theme is good as I already have a tanker creatd that under level 10 that fits that. I like the Badass theme as well, a sort of biker gang turned heros works for me. I have a TA/Archery defender at level 4 that fits that.
Quick edit here as an iddea ocured after I posted. Another advantage of the "Badass/Biker" theme is that it allows scope for a fair bit of originality in costume so we would not look identical. It would still give a unified look of "a gang" when we all stand together but it will also allow the characters to look cool if they ever solo.

Hey, I recently started University and although I've just started, I can see myself falling behind with work due to a bunch of reasons, social life, CoH, being a lazy [censored]...
So I'm looking to find a total of 7 other gamers that would be interested in meeting regurarily, perhaps for 1-2 hours for a set time each day, I was thinking 6-8 or 7-9pm.
This way I'll limit my time online (No point in playing if all I'm gonna do is level up and make things more complicated for the team, right?)
Was also thinking if we can find a full team we could have a theme, what theme I have no idea, pirates, ninjas, robots, military, cheesy heroes, monsters whatever! Maybe even start an SG once we all reach level 10.
I know that occasionally people might miss a teaming session but that wouldn't matter if most showed up, those who werent there could do a tiny bit of soloing to catch up.
So is anyone interested? (This was also posted on the Defiant Heroes section)
