    Would someone explain that, please?
    Thanks!
Well, the oversimplified explanation is it's a term that means 'it's creepy because it looks too real, but not real ENOUGH'. Kind of wrong-real?

    Does that help?

Actually, shouldn't it be Heracles? Hercules was a hearth god, I think.

disclaimer: Just being a pedant. It's a very nice character.

I was carefully reading the whole thread before I burst in with that, so thanks for giving an answer that didn't sound all know it ally. Who knew I had Feelings about Dorothy's slippers.

Thanks for the tipoff. I got some good screencaptures of examining the bones inside!

I love that reference guide! It's a great mental reference when designing (non-game) characters.

I mean, they're not physical fighters, most of their work is keeping up with the rest of the group. My bubbles/psy defender is as chubby as I could make her. She's a thinker, not a puncher.

That's not how I ended up with more'n one account, but the same result as you. Hell, I just made three new ones last night to fill out some holes in my villain roster.

    I may be incurable.

!! There's a pool with will-o-wisps in the Hollows? Where?
  15. Huh, I didn't know you couldn't die in the new tutorial. That makes sense though, with the no hospitals.
  16. No, not really. Part of why I enjoy City of Heroes so much is all the instances. For some reason wide open areas where stuff respawns makes me uncomfortable.

I keep trying out other games, but it's all outdoor outdoor and I'm all nooo noooo.

    Ha!

The Zeus thing is an endless fount of jokes. Like, say, whenever someone brings up Statesman's Furry Adventure.
  18. Not a bad idea. On the other hand, there's something fun about the indignity of lying on your face bemoaning things,

Devs, if you want us to look at States's junk just say so.
Mostly I'm glad that the t for teen isn't hanging below the suggestive themes.

  20. Was looking at the CoH twitter feed and noticed where the 'suggestive themes' were jutting out of.

Oh, you don't get a monopoly on the complaining.

EDIT: Oops, forgot to reply to the OP. Those arcs can be pretty fun! I really enjoyed the maps most, though. I really hope we get access to them in AE.
