I dropped Syphon Speed because it looks like little use IMO
[/ QUOTE ]
Siphon speed is fantastic power not only does it slow the enemy it speeds your rechrge of all your powers.
Slip in 3 recharge So's and a couple of acc and you can tri stack it giving you triple rechrge boost. This in turn allows you to tri stack siphon power with easy and for a few brief seconds even quad stack it. -

Exactly! The whole idea is flawed. If the devs are really so happy with Defiance, why don't they build the AT around that in the way that the CoV ATs are completely built around their inherents?
Y'know, the devs constantly say that they don't think there's anything wrong with defiance, but I've yet to hear a dev actually give a REASON why they find our inherent non-gimped.
Oh, well, it could be worse. Defenders have Vigilance.

Because the COV AT's were built from the ground up and the COH Inherants were a rushed through half baked update!!! -
Myself and Mr Rolled a coulple of stalkers yesterday. We mostly play as a duo with the occasion bigger team when we feel like it and TBH it wasnt much fun.
Majority of time I was the 1st to attack, within 5 second of the 1st stike I was at 1/2 hp and had all the aggro anthother 10 seconds and I was face planted while Mr hand near full hp.
The mobs then about faced and waded in on Mr who had to more often or not run for the hills or be pushing up the daisys like me.
So even as a duo ther unplayable so I think team play is the only way to go with them -
I've found you can cope without the fitness pool with regen but your life is easier with it?

Are the auto on powers in this set (Resist physical, elements, energies & tough hide) worth choosing. If so what defense boost do they give and are they worth slotting??
Thank in advance. -

Tankers, scrappers and controllers get a bonus essentially for doing what they do best. Manage aggro, hit bosses, control stuff - yay, there's your bonus.

The controler inherant isnt much use either!!! Yay i do double damage great you may say but when you do naff all damage in the 1st place double naff all doesnt realy help!!! -
Its non entity for me, The inherant AT specific powers in COV work far better than the one ins COH as a whole.
I mean yay im a blaster i can do 100s of % extra damage thats if I can actualy get a shot off!!! -
Dont thinks so as when u hit the macro it would attemp to fire the powers at the same time which cant be done.
-
I love sea nymph my Plant/fire domi but I agree they seem to be the least common AT much like controlers in COH.
IMO I think they are a great AT as you get to control the field and least you can defend yourself if need be not like a controler. -
Im Robots my self and I find that concentrating them all on one target is best. Advantages of this is that you take down your target extremly quickly, one full volly is enough to take down a yellow on most occassions then qucickly move on to the next.
Going back to my previous post, the MM is supposed to be in full control of there pets as that is the whole point of the MM. If you sit back and let the extremly dodgy AI do the work for you you are not experiencing the full enjoyment if this very unique AT. -
Dont know how every one esle plays there MM but when ina mision im am constantly issueing commnads like every few seconds. This seems to keep them under firm control so they only attack and agro what I tell them to.
I think with some MM out there they think one or two button presses and they can sit back and read a magazine while the pets do the work.
Devise a key bind set your happy with or a set of commnads in the tary your happy with then you can make the pets eat outta your hand if you wish. -
Trust me to get them the wrong way round.
Thanks guys, good point about the resist off the top of my head can only think of crey that use ice and outcast who I cant say I have seen in COV.

Just started a ice blast/Cold Domination
I have noticed that I can slot this shield with defense buffs and resist damage. Am I correct in thinking the Defense buff lowers the damage taken should a hit land and the resist damage make the target harder to hit.
Thanks in advance.

I wasnt saying that the other sets didnt have useful powers because they clearly do as the above post mentions. Just that correct me if I have this totally wrong but the descripion of the blaster says deals massives of damage from long range. Also the 2ndary sets are dubbed support powers which in my view should be powers that assist the blaster in keeping agro away from you and self buffs.
-
Any power that get a blaster in close range of the enemy is a bad idea IMO which unforuntaly is most of the powers in the 2ndary sets. Only 2ndary pool to choose is Devices as this asssist the blaster greatly.

Im robots/traps myself and took seeker drone. I dint like the sound of them but had a shiney new respec waiting in the wings if they wre rubbish. My advice is not to take them AI is poor they tend to lock onto anything they please as long as it is in range which can lead to unwanted agro. Didnt rate the debuff much either.
Turning to poison trap I love it I use looks cool has good debuff on the enemies and always the icing on the cake it look cool when its triggerd. One word of warning watch your boots as the bad guys vomit like mad

I had the similar problem. Did the heist the broker introduced the contact but the contact said he had nothing more to offer me. Now i know i hadnt out leveled him as I was around lvl 25 if i recall. I repeated the broker missions to get the other 2 contacts but again the same thing happend. I had no other option but to move on to Nerva.
