Robots/Traps
erm, i dont think you can separately get seeker drones, you only get them via "upgrade robot" skill (32). Or i have missed something. Seeker drones itself; i dont know what they do besides lower accuracy BUT i have also seen mobs move slower (didnt use noxius breath). I bet they do more than that, maybe they buff ToHit changes too. Update: Was talking about the drones that Protector Bot launches, maybe they are different.
ot: their proton grenade disorients more frequently than player skill, or so it seems.
Poison Trap; since at/after 32 your minions (robots) turn into AoE machine i'm not sure how much use you would get for that skill, but maybe you can find some uses for it. Maybe i'm going to get it, i dont know. Pretty vague answer yes :P
edit: doh seeker drones from traps! omg..my bad.
As far as I have seen it in the traps pool the seeker drones. Not sure how effective they are against those used by your protector bots

Seeker Drones are available from the Traps secondary.
Personally I don't think I'm going to bother with them. I've got enough firepower controlled by dubious AI without any more Besides, having seen my idiot bots try to blow seven shades out of the lava in the first SF, I wouldn't bet against Seeker Drones deciding to try and blow a hole in the scenery for looking at them strange...
Poison Trap I go for dealing with AV's/Heroes. It debuffs HP regeneration, and one fo the things that can make AV's/Heroes so hard to take down is their regen rate. That it also slows their attack cycle rate is another bonus. Using it in general melee type combat is a bit hit and miss, although I got a good 6 waves of Longbow in a row last night with opison traps as they came roundthe same corner towards my defensive firing line
That'll teach them to shout things like 'Stop Countess Gamma from escaping with the equipment!' when they start their charge.
Besides, there's something strangely satisfying about seeing a Longbow Flamethrower losing his lunch just before a massive gout fo firepower flattens him

Heh. Most Longbow that try that get lightly flamegrilled by my Assault Bot, but Poison Trap works well when you can pull them on to it - or, if all enemies are tied up in melee, planting one right in the middle is hugely satisfying too...
POINT: for Stealth purposes, does planting a trap count as an offensive action?

Im robots/traps myself and took seeker drone. I dint like the sound of them but had a shiney new respec waiting in the wings if they wre rubbish. My advice is not to take them AI is poor they tend to lock onto anything they please as long as it is in range which can lead to unwanted agro. Didnt rate the debuff much either.
Turning to poison trap I love it I use looks cool has good debuff on the enemies and always the icing on the cake it look cool when its triggerd. One word of warning watch your boots as the bad guys vomit like mad

Just to add to OT no Group Fly is not worth having, your pets will always fall out at some inconvenient point. It can be fun and is ocasionally usefull but I'm sure you can find a power that is often fun and always useful instead. The above also goes for Group Teleport.

POISON TRAP: worth getting?
[/ QUOTE ]
Update: Oh hell yes it's worth getting....
We took down Back Alley Brawler tonight, and for half the fight, he was puking his guts up I think our Brute got hit twice by the Brawler...
The Brawler was suffering under rad debuffs, dark debuffs, poison trap, Acid mortar and being hit/shot/blasted by a team of 4 (plus pets).
So, poison trap. Get it, love it, use it.

Thanks for all the advice Decisions, decisions...
Robots/Traps is a very tight build power wise - definitely want all the available powers at 32 (UPGRADE- yay!)/ 35 (Trip Mine) / 38 (Detonator), so if I'm not going for Group Fly I've got a straight choice:
RECALL FRIEND (good for precision pet movement, retrieving wandering pets and wandering teammates)
STEALTH (good for sneaking about and placing traps, and fits Flux's sneaky nature as former pro thief)
Suggestions?

Stealth, i gonna drop this power when i respec my char. Once in a while i use it, but after it wears off i am just not bothered to buff my pets again. Maybe sometimes helpfull in parties, but it just doesnt fit me anymore 2ndairy to that nearly every dominator has a form of aoe stealth power.
In that line, recall friend is far more "party-friendly" and realy helps your little lost pet since the range of the respawn seems to be quite big.

i got Seeker drones on my MM, but i don't like'm, even tho i slotted them
I got 'em for free now (randomly) with Upgraded Prot Bot, and they're nothing special but a nice little bonus. Wouldn't have wanted to waste a power on them though, so thanks to ppl who advised me of this at the time.
Roll on 35 and Trip Mine...

Just started building my Robots / traps MM, and i was wondering the travelpower, i decided to take TP, yeah i know, but i wanna see how it works out. What travelpowers do you ppl use on MM's
I regret not taking TP for my MM.
Well no, not true actually. I intend to respec out SJ and get TP at level 27 I think. Should have a few slots to throw into it then to make up for no Stamina.
Personally I think TP is a bit of a pain before level 26 or so and then its great. And I'll get a lot more use out of Recall Friend than I do from Combat Jumping (Recall Friend & Howling Twilight FTW).
My Controller uses TP and you zip around the place. Much faster than any other power.
Would say Fly, personally, because...
- Hover lets you keep out of the way of melee traffic that your pets can deal with
- TP eats END... and since MMs can generally get away without stamina, END conservation becomes a factor.
Recall Friend is still hugely useful though - works on all your normal pets and Acid Mortar for Traps.

Tp self with 3 SO end reducers in it and you can go from one side to the other of ANY zone in the game.
My MM has it and the number of times recall lost pet, sorry, friend has come in useful is mildly ridiculous.

Having fly for a Mastermind, especially with robots, Is very handy. I can get everywhere fast with switching between fly and hover, and always stay out of melee range. Im still deciding on whether to take Group Fly, so my robots can stay ranged. Before that, I can just pop up some caltrops and acid mortars to keep the enemies at bay.
Couple of questions:
SEEKER DRONES: worth getting at 28 or wait till 32 when any Upgraded Prot Bots should be able to create them... if they feel like it?
POISON TRAP: worth getting?
Finally... is it worth getting Group Fly to move minions around with or would Recall Friend be more efficient (albeit with no nifty jet animations?)
