When the OP posts and details a topic and someone /noes it, it creates questions that the OP or other casual readers may want answered. Once you have gone out of your way to enter a thread, read it and respond... expect to provide an explanation for your response if it's bound to bring up questions.

False: A /yes is an indication that someone agrees with the question but does not find it worthwhile to type up a point by point or expanded explanation for why they agree.

A /no is an indication that someone disagrees with the question or idea but does not find it worthwrhile to type up a point by point or expanded explanation for why they disagree.

By your logic unless someone feels like spending the time to write out a detailed argument (which will likely then get modded in my recent experience) then every idea or suggestion presented should always be agreed with as in the absence of dissenting voices the vocal minority prevails.

That idea is ridiculous.

I actually only see the splash screen for about half a second when I launch CoH unless an update is actually there to download. Not even enough time to register what's on it. I do agree the PvP stuff should NOT have been in the motd though.

at 43 I still like the power aside from it's 3 minute timer and long recharge. If it were dropped to 45 seconds active with a shorter timer I'd be blasted happy.

The entire PhysX concept needs to take a long walk off a short pier.

Sorry, but the blasted thing actually lowers FPS counts. I don't need extra particle effects if they're gonna do that.

Honestly, I use 'toon', 'char', 'character', etc. pretty much interchangably. Why does anyone care so much?

Simple, they're animated characters.
Cartoon -> Toon.

If this seems frivolous, consider that perhaps your exposure to mature animation is more limited than your exposure to gaming or comics.

I would not call, for instance, "Graveyard of the Fireflies" frivolous or childish. It is a fairly straightforward drama and one of the few movies that can make me cry sober.

On the American side, consider something like "Cool World" which was certainly frivolous in its own way, but was definitely not a 'kiddie' show. Still, many of the lead characters in that were animated.

For me, toon is a reference to an animated character not directly derived from real life imagery. Your 'character' happens to be animated in real time by a computer, but is no less animated than Bugs Bunny.

I use the 'feline' face on my cat, Lynx, combined with the confusious moustache (quasi whisker look and has downward hair action like real lynx). I also use the demon ears as male models dont get cat ears :/

pretty happy over all with his look if a tad plain...had ta use tiger stripes though versus spots like real lynx...but what can ya do. *shrug*~

I see it on guys sometimes. As soon as it became available I put it on my (now deleted) cat-guy because it looks really nice on the guys.

I have a female model character that has the feline face now and I admit it makes the character look unhappy or slightly angry, but some of these characters really don't look like they were meant to be 'cute'.

(btw, so far my favorite is Power Harness. However, I have a wierd love of anthro and steampunk mixes and that hits the button.)
