    Not Goodbye

    Some of my favorite bugs,

    First off is here.

Hidden under the arena of Peregrine Island was this room. Loved the effects, although the center column FX does look familiar.

Second one was bug involving PI's Loading edge. If you were unaware you can zone out of PI by flying off the edge of the map, instead of by the Ferry, This was even before GR's switching.
However at one time traveling this way wound up having me zone in outside the map of Talos island.

    Some others,

If you were in the right spot in the Rikti raid you could wind up under the Mothership's shield and not transported out.

Zoning back inside the AE's beam.

'Magic Desks,' For all intents and reason this always seemed like a bug. However i have seen some amazing works by players because of it.
  2. Sooooo.. When are we going to get the Praetor Bow Emote? (@ 00:32)
    ^.^*

    Great Video though!
  3. What do you mean I have to be this tall to shop here?!?

  5. Hummm.. very tiny now... Oooooo! I know!

*Goes swimming in a cup of ($soft drink)*

    YaY!
  6. *Comes in with a set of Pogos*

I'm supposed to deliver these to a Doctor for replacement legs? *shrugs, snags some cold pizza*
  7. As I can not get on currently, (at Work) I have two questions,

    1) Does/Can the Walk power Deactivate/Suppress external buffs?

    2) Following that what is the Feasibity of the creation of a slash command of canceling or suppressing (all) Toggles and Buffs on the player. Not exactly the most elegant solution, but would help for when you didn't want the extra powers to be running. (Ie Screen shots)

I'd Ask #2 to Television, but last time he turned me in to a TV. (But then that may of been from hitting him was a bat and shouting 'Up with Aeon' >_>)
  8. *gasp* War Witch! how could you!

    Wait.. I'm a Villain.

    WoooHooo! Go War Witch!
  9. Absolutely hilarious Steelclaw!

Now i'll probably remember salvage by this list

Dunno why everyone hates upon the Platypus. They're freakin' awesome.

    [/ QUOTE ]

And now i want a platypus costume for in game...

Though what -would- a Vigilante EAT look like..?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Everything in the SOA's 2nd to 5th costume slot?
Warshades fall under the same question, heck Peacebringers would to if it means removing the Nitcius presence from the world.

Although i would like a "new" EAT for the Vigilantes, just because.

As for Hero corps lack of presence in the Isles. Well no one noticed them, after all a group that works for the highest bidder might not want themselves known for working in the 'shady' sector, at least for their PR department.
  13. The only non arcane ones would be the Aranchos flier and Ballista (if he even counts).

Looking back at that, I would say make it a tech, then again fighting a, giant mechanical golden totem, sounds cool in my head...

    [ QUOTE ]
In my other thread about GM's someone suggested a large Golden Sphinx.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Don't know if they would try for a four legged creature, but then again they could just have it walk on two

As for the mission spawned GM, perhaps just have it highly mention as a 'failed' project then, that happens to break loose and wander around the island from time to time causing havoc.
  14. One thing overlooked is there is one Vigilantes-ish group in game.
    Hero Corps. (HC)

The semi-irony is that having them as your Group could help work the ideas.

Getting to hazard zones? lvl 5+ mission given by a HC for a 'false' or temp pass, allowing you into the areas. another option would be vans (run by HC) that would work similar to the current doors, but perhaps require a single mission to first allow you to enter the zone.

Gating an area by distance, such as using a sewer network feels wrong for this type of game.. But perhaps this is my bias showing up from other games where you have to run everywhere.

Another thought is have the "break-in" tutorial separate from breakout/outbreak, I know SOA's do not go though breakout and i think Kelds do not either.
Why not give the Vigilantes their own tutorials, perhaps scriped more as an intro course into the HC? (Tutorial=intro training eh?)

Ideas for sure, but the genral play you have sounds really good, I'd play it at least
  15. As far as the GM an idea.

In the Conjuring SF One could have a similar approach as Babbage. Perhaps part of the Pantheon's plan is to summon Lugehbu in a 'incarnate' totem.

The SF stops the summoning but the idol breaks out onto the island. not powered by the god, but still a menace in it's own right. The design team could have fun building this GM Super-totem. (as a joke the contact could have. "Well you managed to stop Lugehbu from gaining a physical body, of course the Totem is now wandering around trying to destroy bits of the island. But a few of your nefarious cohorts should be able to put a stop to that..") The hess and ITF both have had the "stop the giant weapon" but you never really fight them.
  16. I definitely like the idea.

    some possible suggestions,
Have hero corp. be the main contact for both sides? It would give the Devs an opportunity to go in-depth with their story as the 'grey hero group'.

Also perhaps have a main 'lobby' setup (al la midnighters club) for both sides to gather. From there you could log into a terminal and see who can switch over.

Opening the availability by completing a mini arc, (Invention quest?). doing so unlock a badge, (that flags that you would be willing to do cross- content. I do like the idea of using the team interface to find outherside players though..
