I think if you're going to be home, that's a perfect time to both bond and let the pet acclimate to the area. Plus it's also good if the animal isn't "right", you'll know in that time.

Alright, you wanted a special pet story.
In 1997. our apartment building burned in the middle of the night. I was only able to save our daughter, we were the last people to get out safely.
Our cats, Zen and Batcat (Black cat with a white oval on his chest) were not so lucky. Fortunately, Neither suffered as their deaths were from other causes than fire.
After a year of health problems, and well settled in our new house, we got a kitten from a shelter. He had been found thrown into a dumpster with his two brothers. As my health was still dicey, we decided we could not adopt the others 2.
Flash forward to when we were taking the new kitten in for his boosters. Our daughter said to us "Get me a girl kitten this time!". My husband explained that we really couldn't get another kitten. She dropped tears as tragic as only a five year old could, and went to school.
We get to the shelter, and it is LOUD. A group of kids who apparently didn't have school this day, were killing time while their mother was seeing the vet. Whenever the attendants were not looking, they were poking at the dogs there, and the dogs were barking in frustration.
I walked up to stand next to the boys so they would stop it, as my husband tried to catch their mom coming out of the vets office. I looked in the cages to see if the animals were alright. One wasn't. A kitten, about the same age as our new one was shaking, quite terrified.
The attendant let me take her into the private sound proof room to comfort her, and told me her story. The kitten had been bought from a store for a Christmas present for a little girl. Saddly, the little girl turned out to be allergic, so her parents had brought the kitten here to be adopted. The little female kitten, the same ages as the one we had. The only kitten in the entire shelter that day. It was a fait accompli.
Since that day, the cat, Brandy, has been our daughters best friend. She has been there for all of her joys and sorrows. She sleeps in her arms, and when my daughter is elsewhere, Brandy will sleep in the foyer.
Our daughter is 16 now. It has always been plain to her that she was fated to have her wonderful cat. And they are still best friends.

Oh my gosh, you're killing me!!! I'm all mushy now.
(Good story, would read again)

Best part of this thread for me was the community as a whole. Coming out and rallying around a lifestyle that for the most part they do not agree with or partake in. However they defended its rights over sheer stupidity.
[/ QUOTE ]
From looking at these threads, I'm not sure people understand exactly how large a part of this community the LGBT is...it's share is far larger than many seem to realize...
...maybe it's the fact that it's NOT flawnted (sp?) all about like so many seem to expect it to be.
[/ QUOTE ]
More than just the LGBT community, the 'Deviant' society as a whole is, well, large enough that it probably no longer deserves to be considered abnormal.
Were a poll to go out, I think you'd be surprised how many people on the forums identify as something other than a vanilla heterosexual.
[/ QUOTE ]
...surprised? Well, probably not me, hehe.
Ohh, "vanilla heterosexual"! I like that term...it's so cute!
Sorry, I'm being weird again. -

True, but you work with what you've got. Want to play this game and not sludge through the same boring level 1-20 content (and without Stamina </e que stamina debate>
)? Play some of the missions in the MA (of which, no mattter what you say, there are some VERY good ones).

Here is a radical thought. Since you want new content for the low levels, and you are not supposed to use the MA system for PLing to 50 in a few hours, why don't you try playing the MA content for the new stories that are in it?
[/ QUOTE ]
If we're just going to stand in a small room around a pillar of light, why even have Paragon City/Rogue Isles?
[/ QUOTE ]
It's still a perfectly viable option though for someone complaining about the low level content getting old and boring. Correct or not?
[/ QUOTE ]
It's at least as viable an option as playing Pac-Man instead.
[/ QUOTE ]
Nah, I'd equate playing Pac-Man more to playing through the first 20 levels in the regular game...again....and again...and again...and agaian...OMG, again?!?!?!....etc.
Anyways, I realize you're just being difficult. However, you still DID just agree with me that it is a viable choice, even if you won't admit that it is prefferable to play new content rather than play through the same 20 levels of content that one has allready played through so many times before (which is insane, and thusly, proves that you are just being difficult). So, thank you.

Are there any girls there? Are they knitting quitely in the corner and rocking the babies to sleep like they should be? Maybe they are back at the Vanguard base, making sure dinner is on the table, ready for all the hardworking types to get home?
(Oh, come on, it's not THAT much of a stretch to think that the people who complain about this type of thing, wouldn't also probably be of the mindset that I'm making fun of)
