Bottom half of screen cut off

This was happening to a friend of mine.
He has yet to uncover what is going on.
I scoured the site here and although I might have missed it, I saw no threads on this issue.
I will keep my ears open.

Guessing:
You are using NVidia 177.79 drivers.
If you are using Vista, update them to 185.85
If you have XP, go ahead with 186.18

Post the CoH Helper and Hijack This reports so we can make a less-psychic diagnosis.
Wasn't this an old ATI issue? SOmething about FSAA or something. Maybe check BillZBubba's stickied ATI thread, both of you, if you (or Gaymers friend) are using ATI cards.

[/ QUOTE ] I re-read the OP and I think you might be right on this one. I was misreading the issue.. but hopefully the reports will come soon and shed some light on the situation.
That particular problem was indeed a video driver one. I had it myself at one point but don't remember if that was back when I was using an ATI card or if I had already switched to Nvidia.

I just downloaded the trial client today, and I made a hero and everything, but now that I'm playing the game, the bottom half of the screen is cut off and instead of showing what it's supposed to show it's showing the first menu of creating your hero. Can anyone help as to why this is happening? Thanks
