    No, that's what I kept finding though, and that's why I was getting frustrated. But thank you.

    HOWEVER, I LOVE Monoprice, their awesome pricing and shipping costs really highlight how very poor everyone elses is (especially shipping on small items). I'd sooo get it from them if I could.

    Yeesh, I knew it was staring me right in the face! I'd rather it didn't have the 1st plug, and I'll have to shave the sides of the male (or female...SATA power cables male/female designation confuses me, hehe) end off (sounds painful, hehe), but that'll do in a pinch.

    Thanks TJ.
  3. Why am I having such a hard time finding one?! Ack!
    I just need a silly SATA power female-to-male power cable!

    (sorry, I know it isn't Co* related...well, not directly, at least...and I'm probably staring it right in the face...but I felt like venting...thank you)

    Just don't live by the ocean. I just worked on a friend of mines pc who lives a few blocks from the water. He was having all sorts of trouble. Kept his PC by the window, with the window open on hot days. Opened up his tower and and it was just being eaten away.The ocean air was slowly disolving the inside...suprised it hadn't fallen apart allready.

    TJ Max is the temp that CPU will get to before it says "ouch" and starts to lower the multiplier itself in an attempt to rapidly cool itself down.

    I was looking at that too, and thinking about that they're talking about 24/7 systems with drives in a near constant state of read/write...heck, server hard drives break all the time and is why most drives on servers are redunndant (sp?), hotswappable, generaly have their own cooling (well, they may have a fan directed at them or just have ample intentional airflow, at least) and can be pulled right out of the front to make quick switches.

    You be speaking the truths!
    Only thing that's stopping tem from putting a 3slot cooling solution on those things...is that it would make the companies look REALLY stupid!
    ...wonder how overclocking (on the hobbiests side) on those things is going...no way it's happaning with stock coolers, I'll wager.

    Wow, I'm just not winning tonight...but in my defense (and to agree with you), the Velociraptors are pure awesome and win (have one myself...but have custom cooling...hence my wager against them being cooler than 40-45...but not by much).

    Well, I do have to admit I was being a slight bit conservative...but you are right...still I'd probably amend that only up to 80c. "Rated up to 100c" is far different than "let's run this at 100c for every gaming session this gal has"...I couldn't see that system lasting very long.

    Wow, Google has a hand in *everything* now, don't they?! Anyway, ok, I'll amend that too...but only to 50c. Show me a 10-15k drive that runs at below 40c, heck 45c at full read/write. Though, it's hard to dissagree with a study by Google, they are Google afterall, and where *would* we be without Google...'cause they are Google, you know.
    Sidenote: SSD's are really cool (pun intended), never have to worry about heat again, for those.
  8. I'm slightly tired, so take this with a grain of salt.

    High enough (don't want to go over these unless you have to...and if you do, time for some house cleaning):
    CPU = 65c
    NB = 60c
    SB = 60c
    Mobo/PWM/Ambient case temp = 60c
    Vid Card = 75c (I'll give a little extra here...GPU are suprisingly resiliant)
    HDD = 55c
    PSU = 70c
    System makeup = irrelevent (sp?)

    Anyone beg to differ? Just out of curiousity, really.

    Edit: Oh, and OP, you're plenty fine.

    That's what the Reset button is for...if you can find it without taking your eyes off the monitor at least...that way it's not *technically* cheating.

    Oh, and hello you two!
  10. Had this happen once in FF. On a whim, I went to the upper floor (where the AE teminals are), and clicked on the glowing column (that ussually lets one enter AE missions) and it let me enter the regular mission.

    Was very surprised that it worked...but it may not work all the time. Only happened once, so it could have been a huge fluke.

    That response occurred a week ago, the same day I sent the petitions. There has been no action, follow up, or further comment from anyone at NCSoft about the issue.

    I also PM'd Niviene several days ago, who responded saying she had forwarded it to the proper Dev. However, there has not yet been a Dev acknowledgement on the forums that the problem exists.
    So, it seems that GMs cannot award it on their own (my assumptions). That's too bad.

    Good idea. But what I am wondering, is if a GM or direct contact with support, would get them to award the accolade retroactively without the need to get HPT first. Has any of you tried that?

    These may be the most high profile exhibits of the problem. There may be hundreds of paper missions using the wrong maps right now...but you wouldn't be able to tell, because you don't know those by heart. Just sayin'.

  20. Not trying to be a jerk, I swear, but has anyone contacted support directly on this? Wonder if maybe having a GM (in game) or support rep (via datamining on the account) look at it, might 1) get a GM to document it on file (like a 'Super Bug Report' ) and 2) maybe they can reward it to you if they see the req's are filled.

    Just throwing it out there.

    I must have missed something. WHat changes in RV and Longbow Mech/Spider Mech?

    Also, what changes in drop rates? YOu mean the possible (probable [sp?]) bug with drop rates? If so, I really do thinkk that's a bug with how the new dificulty settings work...but really just guessing on that one.
  22. Perfectly happy with any changes to Granite Form if if gets back the ability to use claws with Stone Armor.

    Thank you.
