I have to throw in a Dom. My Mind/Energy Dom can do some sick things in missions and that was before I got him to perma-dom level. He plows through things my masterminds have problems killing.

Thanks Wiggz, you just saved me a lot of time. I was going to ask about what sets give you def, and you answered it for me. never done a build that was built for def, heck I have however done one for recharge on my Perma/Perma Hasten Mind/Energy Dom. I hope this blaster gives me as much joy as my Dom.

Also, can anyone link me to the "Mids" I have yet to even use it before and I hear so many people say how good it helps them put together builds.

I recently decided to roll a Sonic Blast/Energy Assault Blaster. The idea came to me that each Sonic paired with Energy will make a great combo due to -res coupled with the punch that energy melee brings will be wicked. This on top of the Power Boost and the sonic cone sleep will make it even more sweeter.

I wanted to know how does this work out end game. Does this combo solo well against say +1 or +2/3 man sized mob? Is it even possibel to get near the def softcap on this toon without giving up too much? And is there any tips on what powers are skipable?

The problem I am having always seems to pop up once the game uploads a new update or patch or new Issues. In the middle of the patch, it stops and says "cohupdater.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close". Once it does this, I can no longer get past this.

I have even tried downloading the game again into the same folder hoping that would fix the problem but with no luck. The only way I can get it to work is to uninstall the game and reinstall it which takes just about a half a day, which is no good for me because by the time it gets done, it will be time for me to head to work.

As noted I have taken the time to pull up the system information.

Ok, I have been looking at Archery as of late. I have tried and leveled just about everytype of blaster there is to 50 except for Archery/ and /Energy Mani and Sonic/.

I have asked around and most people seem to tell me to go with Archery/Energy Mani due to the fact that with that combo, I will have access to both Aim & Build Up as well as boost range as well as the crash-less nuke Rain of Arrows.

On the other hand Archery/Dev seems a lot of fun. I know /Dev has a bad rep, and I have leveled an AR/Dev/Mun blaster to 50 and I was screaming all the way to 50 because it was just so much fun going in guns blazing. I know from this that soloing is doable with Dev/ and can be very safe, and on teams I my damage is not that bad, considering I skiped both mine powers and Gun Drone.

There is something about playing a toon that relies on weapons and gadgets that I seem to like. But also, if I have Aim, Build Up, and Boost Range how much of a factor does that amount to end game. I guess my question is, what are you experiences with Archery/Dev and Archery/EM and what do you consider pros and cons of each. I guess my goal is to be able to solo and team with ease.

Normally I would make both, but I am very low on character slots (3 left) and with Going Rogue coming I just know I am going to need the other 2 for a Kin Melee toon and a Ele control toon.

I have another slight issue. I own my own SG and I had a few members still playing after the big “AE Nerf”. One of them stole all my crafted enhancements out of my base bins, after that most just stopped playing all together. So now only my toons are in the SG, and I can’t seem to be able to take enhancements out of the bin unless I am on my main who is the leader of that SG. There use to be an option that allows me to deny access to all or none of the members to the bins, now I don’t see this option available.

My question is, is there a way I can access the bins without having to log my main on who holds the VG leader star?

The other day I accidently hit something that made my power icons disappear under my xp bar. I can’t tell which powers are on and affecting me and I can’t find out how to bring them back up. I have checked the settings under the options menu and I can’t find it. Anyone care to give me a hand?

My question is simple, what is a good patron for a mind/nrg Dom? I am currently sitting at lvl 40 and want to know which one is best. I plan on taking him to perma soon if that helps.

-Pros for Mu Mastery
- End regeneration in (Power Sink)
- AoE attack (Ball Lighting)
- and a panic button in (Power Surge)

I am leaning more towards Soul Mastery for Soul Drain, what can I say I like to do damage. But I am open to suggestions just in case I am missing some hidden benefits in Mu or any other patron.

I need some major assistance bad. For the past 3 months I have been having problems staying in game. I will be able to play for about 2-3 minutes and then for some unknown reason, I am booted from the game with a strange error message. I have been playing this game for some years now and I have not encountered this problem before.

When I attempt to log back in, the updater starts verifying files. But before it can complete it stops and I get this message box to pop up with the following in it…….

Now I have no clue as to what this means. So I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and after the long update, I am able to log back in, but after about 1 minutes I get booted again. Wow, thanks for all the replies. I will get to work on these a.s.a.p. 1 more question, what is the earliest one can get to perma dom, is it at least lvl 35 or is it lower.

What do you put into the 6 slotted Hasten? 3 Recharge and what else?

I recently got back into Dominators and am now playing a lvl 24 Mind/Energy Assault. I had a lvl 46 Mind/Psi Dom back before the new Dom changes, but I deleted him due to poor solo performance. I like the combo, cause it is almost like a Blaster with some serious holds/controls. Anyway, I digress from my point. I am interested in knowing how to create a Perma-Dom. So I guess my question is can someone link me to someplace that as this information.

Also, can someone give me a round about price on how much those IO sets will cost me and at what lvl can one actually start getting into perma domination?

After much thought, I have decided to go with both Grav/Ele and Mind/Nrg. My Mind/Nrg is lvl 14 now and is soloing fairly well, and I know it will get better as I lvl up.

I will make a grav/ele tonight when I get off work. I wanted to lvl one up real quick doing double xp weekend, but I was distracted by doing a bunch of TFs/SFs.

Just got through looking at Fire/Fire. That combo has great controls and damage. I also got a tell from a friend who is playing an Mind/Nrg Assault and he is pushing me to make one of those.

I am going to have to clear up some slots cause I need to make a few of these to give them test runs.

So Ele did get hit. I had heard people talk about that, but they did not go into detail.

And as far as trying both, I think I will, but I just wanted to know how high lvl Doms are fairing with these sets, and how easy is it too solo.

For the past 3 days I have been trying to look up any information on Electricity Assault and Gravity Control. Both of these sets have pets, my question is, does these two sets go well together?

If not then can someone enlighten me as to which sets solo the best. Ever since the Dom changes, I have heard some interesting things about Dom’s and I want to give them a try.

The reason I put these too sets together is because they both have pets which to me increases their damage and control output. I was leaning more towards Grav/Nrg Assault at first because I know Nrg Assault can put out some decent damage, but the idea of two pets just appeals to me. Any tips or info from experienced players?

Hmmm, with this info, I find it hard to decided. Go with -knockback on cages, but smaller AoE area, or nades with bigger area and def. This is a tuff one.
