Set the teams in the Hive, kill some monsters and wait for the hive to fill up. When it does, the leader sends a tell to all the individual team leaders who -through team channel- to keep it quiet on broadcast but move the whole thing to Hive 2. People who we know to be active participants who are locked out, we can just tell them to go to Hive 2. We'll have to rehunt some monsters, but we'd leave the leechers sitting alone with Hami in Hive 2. In addition, if someone stays there to keep it spawned, we could just move the whole operation back to Hive 1 and do it again real fast. Hopefully by then, the leechers will have tired and bailed.
We do this when we seem to have a lot of leechers. Eventually they will try and head us off at Hive 2, at which point we stay in Hive 1. Still, a PITA to go through just to have everyone get their just rewards.
Just a thought.
Also regarding new raid leaders, there are a number of active Justice raid leaders that are more than willing to lend a hand to teach new people how to lead a raid or just a team. Pum taught me how to lead green team and how to set up a macro to target the greens and I was like ZOMGWHATSAMACRO. Before the forum purge there were Hami guides and bind files milling around, but I'm not sure if there still are. Q had a link to i9 raids I believe somewhere, and not too long ago Hery put up her binds, as did Con and enri I believe for redside raids. I'll look for the link. Larry was my teacher for leading raids so my binds are a direct copy of his.
There also seems to be a misconception that you have to be the Hami Aggro tank to lead Hami Raids. When I started leading them on my empathy defender I received alot of tells asking why I was calling it on 'that toon'. Quatermain has on many occasion ran a raid while tanking a yellow mito or being on green team. -

My first character was an Empathy Defender, so I didn't really see a point. I suppose I could have tried to be the person with the biggest healz, yo, but if I'm with a team of capable players, they won't really care about that.
I just tried to be good at what I did and the numbers really were the least important aspect of being a Defender. The only number that mattered to me was the number of players still alive on my team.
P.S. Justice is the best. I could post about how much more awesome we are over the rest, but I don't want to have to get in a screenshot war again

Double XP definitely worked in AE last time. There was resounding shock by pretty much all involved wherever they stood on the matter of whether it was a good thing or not.

I can sympathize with Plas' dilemma. I'm none to happy about the times either, but I also know there's nothing I can do about it.
7am-9am EST is my window between getting the midget on the bus and time for work, so I usually use that time to hop on and do my marketing and silly socializing with Chloe n Philly. -
It's not just MM's either. I've had the same problem with the Imps on my fire controller. I'll zone and show no pets in the window, but they will follow me around, and I cannot dismiss them.
Also, something on blue and redside, anybody else notice pets acting weird in your SG/VG base? Not following you or getting stuck on nothing? -
