Almost everything in that paragraph is false or inaccurate. Whoever is telling you this stuff is wrong.

    Yeah......although........(Book Spoiler coming up!!!)

I really liked the character Willow from the books that did that to Eric. Come on, a witch that also happens to be a werewolf! I wonder why they veered off her story and made this character?
  3. Lost deserves it's place (and should be higher). And yes it is sci fi.......time travel??? Hello. Firefly also deserves a higher rank.

My favorite character on the show and the books. Love her!
  5. There aren't any real book spoilers in this thread that I can see. Any mention of the books are about minor plot points but nothing "spoilery" and when those do come up people are usually polite enough to put up spoiler warnings.

Let the different types or merits be able to be traded for Incarnate Components.
Vanguard Merits: 500 per Common Component
A couple of Mothership raids and you could easily get a T1.
Reward Merits: 120 per Uncommon Component.
I chose 120 as I seem to recall a LotG + recharge being about that. So a few days of Weekly Strike forces and you could get enough Uncommon Components
    Hero/Villain Merits: 5 or 10 per Rare
Between 10 to 20 days of 0x1 Tip missions yielding a chosen Rare seems reasonable to me.

Now, what does this do for the Solo minded person? Does it give a path to the Incarnates that does not seem to far out of whack?
If you did a combo of trials and WTF, and solo, you would have an easier time all around.
Very Rare Components, Astral Merits and Empyrean Merits would be “gated”, but that seems a fair trade off, for the ability to have choice in how and what a player could do to get most of the Incarnate powers.
How is this for an idea?
There, problem solved. EVERYONE please look at this!

My comment wasn't intended to be part of the solo v. trial debate (and not directed at your post either), only an opinion that currencies in general need to be simplified.
  8. I would never oppose simplifying currencies.

    Trials and ME!

And things will seem better once you get your level shifts for Lore and Destiny.

    Same here.
  11. Yep, crashed and unable to rejoin yesterday as well.

The only thing TV Tara has ever had in common with Book Tara is the name and the fact she and Snookie were childhood friends but not best friends. Book Tara is white, never worked at Merlottes, owns a clothing store, doesn't curse like a sailor and is far from a main character. Tara is typically mentioned in passing in the books once or twice per book.

Two exceptions: Season/Book 2 and Mary Ann's cult was sort of similar to the Books plot and it did involve Tara and Season/Book 3 her dating a Vamp. Really after that she's a very minor character in the books.

I should remark that the younger actors (Arya, Sansa, Joffrey, Brann) have all done remarkable jobs for this show. I'm amazed that I could loathe a child character as much as I do Joffrey, but that's certainly in part due to the acting.
Totally agree. The look of prideful happiness on his face when Ned proclaims him the one true king is a great example of that. I wanted to throat punch him through the screen. I think all of the child actors have done a wonderful job of getting the perfect feel for their characters.

Oh, and he does not get killed, maimed, destroyed sometime in the future seasons i will burn it all down!
I didn't pick up that vibe from the show. Joffry definitely seems to prefer his "Lannister" side in his actions but isn't afraid to latch onto his Baratheonism when need be. It's the by product of having a drunk and indifferent father and an overpowering and manipulative mother.
  16. ..........and finished book 4 tonight. Come on July, 12th!

    Best of MST3K?

The Corpse Vanishes. The shorts, the movie and the skits. Probably the episode that made me fall in love with the show.

    "Whip it. Whip your hunchback."
"I was up to Crazyday's over at Boscerville the other day ya know."
"Those clown shoes burn like black tires."

You aren't alone, I'm a member of that club as well, without him the movie is just meh. His part is brilliant but the remainder of the movie...not so much.
