Alts either store it or spend it on builds. My main marketeer simply sends the extra cash through email to go into another toons coffers. Currently post 2xp and converters I have about 13 billion spread out over about 8 characters. Meanwhile I've almost fully IO'd my Titan/Regen brute at lvl 43 and almost have her back to the cap and my 37ish dark/dark troller is inf capped waiting to complete their build at 50.

Yeah I don't think you could have put together a first episode to introduce new characters and establish what existing characters are doing and it be any different than it was....a little "eh". I totally get it.
Where a lot of us readers are excited is we know where it's going and how awesome or anti-awesome these new characters and existing storylines are going.
As a reader just let me say. Get ready for some awesomesauce to come! -
Not saying breaking if you don't slot.....saying it makes you better if you use. That's all.

Quote:Disagree. You can do both. A mezzing and debuffing/buffing controller is more powerful than just a mezzing controller when talking team based controlling. I'm not arguing the slotting choices per se, just the concept of "forget your teammates". I think a reasonable middle ground exists. Don't gimp your build by any means but a few slots in a secondary power isn't the end of the world and doesn't kill a build. That said, it doesn't seem to be a power that is very slot hungry to begin with. But as far as SA goes... forget your teammates. Between locking down/Mezzing foes, -To Hit from most of your attacks and defense from CoD and Fade you're doing more than enough. Base it's slotting on your needs and what's convenient for you.
Controllers are a lot of things especially in the days of IO builds, but at their core they are still and at their best a support AT.And before anyone gets all worked up over calling trollers support, that does NOT mean sitting in the back or the sidelines. It means we have primaries and secondaries and a well rounded team based controller uses both. And that means buffing your teammates. A well buffed team is a better team. If the content is so easy that you feel the buffs aren't needed, you probably need to up your difficulty. -
Quote:I have to agree I've grown quite fond of Stannis myself. Anyone with the judgement to recognize the importance of Davos has his head screwed on right.Stannis is my favorite character from the books, and his introduction didn't disappoint. Craster is even creepier on TV, and the culling of Robert's baseborns was wrenching.
Book 6 (yeah you read that right) Spoilers below.............
2nd warning.....................................
One more warning..........................
Did you read the Stannis chapter that Martin posted for Christmas? So awesome. I think after reading that I kind of wonder if Martin doesn't have more plans for Stannis. He seems very "kingly" in it. -

I had a teammate start raving about it when they looked at their buffs last night. Whether or not I "need" it: meh. Teammates may have a use and seem to like it.

Based on what I've heard and read in interviews they do have intentions of sticking "as close" as they come to the story. From what I understand not as much of a shift like True Blood. True Blood is more of an Alan Ball interpretation of the Southern Vampire Series endorsed by the author. The truth is it would be virtually impossible to shoot the books, especially into 3 and through 5 just due to their vast size and scope. Martin adds a ton of "flavor" to his stories so I'm expecting to see a lot of combined characters etc to serve the purpose that 5 or more characters do in the books. And there obviously will be omissions of characters that don't add directly to the main plot threads. And I'm ok with that. If you love the books and want to see them on TV, you either accept that or expect to be very disappointed.

Season 1: Book 1
Season 2: Book 2 (and some 3)
Season 3: Part of Book 3
Season 4: End of Book 3.
That's what we know so far. Season's 3 and 4 will be shot simultaneously. -
I enjoyed it. It was definitely a "where are they now/set up for the season" episode. Love the casting and the new actors really seem to understand where their characters are coming from. Especially the scene where Stannis is dictating the letter. So uptight but unflichingly honest he can't refer to Robert as his beloved brother or won't omit Ser from Jaime's title.
A great start. Glad it's back! -
Sounds totally rational. -

You know I've never felt my scrappers needed anything really. Except maybe more enemies to smack around.

While I don't have an awesome 20 Billion inf story I did log on to 400 million worth of sales in my old tried and true niche (thanks 2xp!) and then played just a bit with converters. Probably overall it was a 1.5-2 billion dollar day give or take outstanding sales and bids. It's been fun though, just figuring out what works and what doesn't.

Nightbreed is a guilty pleasure of mine. Very unique and very 80s/early 90s vibe to it. Good choice Lycantropus!

How are you liking all the procs in the immob?

Take away my terrify and you'll be pulling back a nub.

Gotcha, fyi the reason cold shields can't be PB'd is because they have an enhancable damage resist portion. Guess they've worked around that or is the DR in it unenhancable?
-
Aren't they adding a damage resist component and doesn't that usually mean powerboost will no longer work with it?
-
Aren't the changes to fade coming up going to negate using powerboost though?
