    Science - Holsten Armitage, Brickstown
    Technology - Mark IV, Founders
    Mutant - Penny Preston, Founders
You can only go to the Natural contact and buy enhancements that you can use if you are Natural origin.

As for the second sentence, I imagine you meant to say SO's. You can't buy IO's from anywhere except the market or a crafting table (or a player).
    /this.

As an aside, if you for some reason don't have the Ouro portal by 35, running the science vendor's mission (you don't have to BE science to do so) will unlock it.

Some people are doing things like that - with various results. (I tend to not like the 'action figure" look, personally.) Some folks like this guy do actual sculpts (I want to say resin, have to read his stuff again though.)

But, again... it'd be nice to have that money actually supporting the game itself, I agree.
  4. plans:

Well, some friends and I have a group or two of characters we run. Getting some extra levels on them will be nice. (41 now.) 49 Grav/Kin who's planning to sneeze and hit 50. A few others in the 40s will be getting a bit closer. And still others getting near "fun" powers (trip mine, etc - I have a bunch of Dark Miasma characters but have never gotten one to Dark Servant, for some reason, and plan to rectify that this weekend.)

Other than the 49, not really shooting for anything to hit 50. I've got one of each AT there already. *shrug.* Do have a 'huntsman' I want to get to, and past, that stupid mandatory respec at 24.

See if that helps. If that fails, the next thing to try is:

    1. Uninstall ZoneAlarm. I've seen more problems with ZA going haywire than I care to admit. ZA is, at best, an okay product WHEN IT WORKS. The rest of the time it's just one gigantic, resource-sucking nuisance. Revert back to the Windows Firewall.
    Non-zonealarm user here...

Site's been weird today. I'll go from accessing it, to "Cannot find," to accessing it back and forth. On two computers. (Second one even gave the search results from OpenDNS in the launcher.)
  6. So instead of griping at each other, how about:

    - Push for an earnable/purchasable (other than the vet reward) auction house temp power, and/or

    - have them actually look at bases for the first time in who knows how long and add an auction house terminal item there.

See also Deviantart. Or the Screenshot and Fan Art section. DA, it kind of depends on the artist, but I'm sure something can be commissioned (or, hey, you're doing it yourself) to be put on a shirt.

And yeah, I have a few pieces done...

None of it, however, ends up as income for COH/PS that way.

    No need to do that.

Yes, it is an irritating bug.

/disagree. Yeah, I can look up a lot of things online, but I still have various magazines that I refer back to. (No, not Wizard.) Websites can go offline, after all, and I can't take the Internet with me to read in bed, read on a trip, etc. (Until iPad type devices are universal enough to carry *everything,* no, they're not a solution, and laptops aren't the proper form factor for this sort of thing.) Magazines don't run out of batteries or lose connection to the network. Yes, some magazine content is better kept up with online (really, how to build a Pentium 90 and tweak Windows 95? No, that I'll dump,) but other content just "fits" a magazine better.

Plus there are times I just like *physical pages* to flip through.
  14. I've had this happen with one character. Don't recall his inactivity time, though.

... though i have one (a redside Fredooomer, so... yeah, rarely played) at 247 days this didn't happen to. Even when zoning.

Positron's TF only needs three to start. That's specifically what I was thinking of when putting in that "Maximum." (Well, that and a prior suggestion that came up in a different thread of "Hit 50 = can start TFs solo, if you want.") Otherwise, it's a reduction of the ones requiring six or eight to four.

It will remove any existence of any person in question entirely from your Forum experience.
Unfortunately it doesn't work for Chrome... and if I'm reading properly (and it's not just an offshoot,) development has stopped, so as Firefox updates (V4 and beyond) the extension will be broken.

Unless there's been an update since this:

FfvB I'm sorry folks but no, there will not be a Chrome version of FfvB. In fact, there won't even be a future for FfvB on Firefox I'm afraid. I do not have the time nor money to continue development which means when Firefox and vBulletin both upgrade to version 4, this extension will cease to function. I'm really sorry.

  17. Sometimes use TS (as opposed to vent, but really....) but only in specific situations, and never to the point of closing the chat window. TBH, the only other game I ran *with* built in voice chat (APB,) I ended up turning it off in less than an hour.

Been brought up before. Yes, to more "stuff."

The 3d printer bit, IIRC, depends on the output that can be gotten of the characters, and I don't *believe* we can put them out in a compatible format without a *lot* of work.

Imo, most people go for their accolades first and MOs not too long after that. I could be wrong but that makes sense to me.
Because some of us actually *like* having them be for things we've done?

Start doing this, might as well sell a "badge pack" on the store. $10 and it unlocks all the badges, current and future, on your account.

    No, thanks.

t really does depend on a lot of factors.... Character set, play style, friends and Fun Factor, and what you do once you log in (I know I'm leaving out a lot of stuff...), playing a lot of Alt's will seriously damper lvling a character to 50 in a timely manner
not sure what exactly a "timely manner" is supposed to mean (200+ alts here, after all,) but yes, it'll take longer in "real" time, but makes no difference to hours played, since you're not concentrating on just one character.

Avoiding gaining 3 levels during his mission arc so that you can be introduced to Talshak the Mystic is.

Besides, I suspect that the Minions of Igneous combined with a 90-minute timer and a door in the middle of the Tunnels of the Trolls (all at max lv15) is a far greater threat to the success of the trial than an 8-man simultaneous click.
    First, no.
Early, yes. (Debt starting at level 5 with the old instant-appearing high spawns made it rather... too easy not to outlevel it. Even if you weren't trying.)
Most failed by percentage? Yep. Especially when someone quits/goes AFK/gets disconnected to the trial *cannot be completed by any means,* thanks to the 8 glowie simul-click nonsense at the end.

The minions are a bit rough, sure, but someone with stealth/SS and Recall Friend - especially now with the "Assemble the Team" vet power - makes the tunnels pretty much a non-issue.

  23. Yeah, I had to go through that trying to recall what my Guild Wars PW was a while back. (And I think played once since. *shrug*) While they need information, some of that is, IMHO, unreasonable. If you JUST signed up, I could see asking for the credit card number used to initially sign up, for instance - you're likely to still have it. (I certainly don't after all these years.)

If they're going to request those of me, let me make - say - a once-a-year request of the information as well, with a 30 day blackout period after an email or password change.

  25. Unless you've seen the full system, no, you can't say we'll be up to "power level 60." You will STILL be a 50. I doubt every slot would give you a "level shift" or that the devs would let you get away with that.

If you want this sort of thing, you can do it *now* in AE. *shrug* *I* even have one that's just a mix of mobs from all level ranges - spawns appropriate to whatever level I'm at, so I'm not fighting greys. I've had mixed mobs of (old) Neuron's clockwork, Rikti, Carnies, Storm elementals, Crey/Paragon Protectors, etc - all in the same mission, in mixed SPAWNS, and you get a different mix each time. (Assuming you have enough mob types.) That's without adding anything custom in.
