My question is would this be screenshots or an actual Art thingy?

I remember SWG had several servers with pin up calenders in the day-often screenshots with some airbrushing...

This is an example (please excuse the size-) This was an entry that I got in too late for one year's calendar.



Often, once the toon was accepted, the screenshot would go into photoshop for some 'cleanup' work.

And I am not sure this would work for CoH toons...given the character creation system in this game.

Eg: This is Mellissandria (Paragon City edition)

Fortunately, I have screenies of some of the old costumes for my characters. If need be, I can rebuild/recreate from there, like I am for the current Ryouko story I am writing...(no you can't see it yet.)

This way, I'm guessing I've saved the best and gotten rid of the chaff, and can reorganize costumes/power designs as well.

In the case of Ryouko, her current costume stays in at least one slot out of five, so all she needs are new nonsuper clothing, and for me to save her current costume model with a bathing suit for summer

I like to play dress up with my toons, too. Until recently (when I accidentally reinstalled CoH over the old version,) Ryouko had one of the most extensive costume collection I had seen in an MMO in a long time...

Fortunately her current costume survived, but the rest, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to rebuild.

Hi. I'm thinking of applying to Hero Studios, since I'm already hanging with you guys some nights and lurking in the channel. Is there anyone in particular I need to ask?

Are there any particular archtypes you need? Or can I just choose a toon from my stable (yes, I have horrible altitis). I'd probably wind up being part time, due to me belonging to two guilds run by an old friend from the bad old Atlanta days. But when I have the time, I would be willing to help you guys.

Don't have vent or skype currently installed. Would be willing to on request, as long as it doesn't lag me out..

Any special place or can I just snag an officer?

This was an exercise in frustration for me.

I live in the Boston area...and didn't even know about PAX East til tonight. Friday and Sunday does me no good if Saturday is already sold out....Wish it was possible for the devs to rethink this and well...move their meet and greet to a day that's not sold out....

So far, all the art I have gotten has been digital, and is stored in two or more places on my computer and the Internet, in case of a virus attack.

Hoping eventually to print out three of them, "Sailor Lune", "Kami Megami" and "Oryo Ryouko" and put them on the wall as posters or framed art. The "Sailor Lune" is no big deal, just a recolored Sailor Moon picture, but it's still the absolute first one I ever got...back around 2002, I think. Yes, I am a sentimental idiot. And a poster freak.

I'd probably go into shock..then into a squealing fit, if I ever got an actual piece of art from someone. (I'd love to get a Fred Gallagher..been following "Megatokyo" since the beginning..)

Mystik Paladin, my sword scrapper, was originally an SWG Jedi toon named Arithon Kerson.

Mellissandria, my sonic/psionic defender, started out in a FASA Dr. Who Rp, and has popped up in a couple of MU**s, as well as in Gaia and Cabbit Patch forum RPs. She's been in SWG as an entertainer, in WoW as a rogue, and in LOTRO as a minstrel.

The third one is Dana/Daina Starchild. Basically, she's a spunky fighter. Originally, she was in a MUX, then moved to AdventureQuest, and from there, made the hop to SWG, where she was a creature handler, and later a bounty hunter chick. On WoW, she was a dwarf hunter named Daina. In CoH, she's briefly made two appearances, first as Sailor Starchild (scrapper) and then as Eagle Feather (blaster archer)..eventually, I realized I needed to wait for Dual Pistols, then she'll make her reapperance..(better go claim her name now!)

It was loads of fun. The two people from the Young Saints who were with me (Razorblade-Kiss and Patrioteen) also enjoyed it immensely!.

Awwwwww...been wanting to get either a Maine Coon or a Siberian cat..something that could hold its own against the current ruler of our apartment- Shadow (aka Shadow the Basement Cat..)

But first, we need to get a slightly larger apartment...one big enough for a large housecat or two to romp around in...can we say I'm a sucker for felines?

I want to thank Dr. Aeon for leading the Virtue group thru a romp thru the Hickman Arc last night...

I was impressed by Aeon's ability to stay totally in character throughout the whole event...This man may well have become an RP guru, villain or no.

I also loved the puns in the arc, and everyone's bouncing off them...if I was the quiet one, it was because behind the keyboard, I was laughing my backend off...! Which was why I didn't let people know when I hit a level during one of the missions...

Thanks for letting me into the group as well...I was the final one to find him, and I finally had to learn to think like a villain in order to find him....(yes, Magical Warrior Luna is a bluesider...). Loads of fun, and I look forward to seeing that screenshot of the whole group

Just let me know if you hit Virtue and what time, and I'll bring one of my toons
