As of right now, 3:19 Ceneral time, I do not have my Vanguard goodies
I pay once a year so my account has never lapsed.

I waited this long, so I am in am in no big, mad, got to have them now or I will die rush.

A couple of fun toons to try would be either a Fire/Shield scrapper or a Spines/Elec scrap. I am not a numbers person so my reasonings as to why you should try them are "They are fun and soloable" They say /Shields takes billions and billions of influence to IO one out, but I did mine at a fraction of that, and she is GREAT fun.. I may not be able to do 4/8 or solo Giant Monsters and AVs or such things on my build but oh well
Hmm..and if you should want to dip your toes into Energy Melee....know that it seems to be a set that blooms solo. I am having a blast in Praetoria with my Energy/Elec Brute, but reading about Energy Melee in these forums, I come way with the idea that I should not be enjoying it as much as I am ...I should be instead doing a lot of weeping and gnashing my teeths ? No telling what I am doing wrong.
Ohhhhhhh...I know....you need to try a Electric Control/Earth Dom. Don't judge it until you get the sleep field though. I forgot what level you get it, but once you get it, it is a game changer It is an AOE Sleep that reapplies itself
And one more thing, Praetoria is full of bad guys doing Energy Damage. Choose your first Praetorian toon with that in mind and you will do well.

Fire/Elec has a bad rep? I had one as a scrapper it was the beeeest! I remember Energy/Elec used to be a FotM, but since it isn't anymore we'll call it an oldie but goodie
I confess I have started wondering about the scrapper version and the ability to jump right in with full damage...no, I won't go there

Well, not sure what you mean by unique. I am leveling a Fire/Elec Brute who, despite it's bad rep, at level 41 is going strong
On a lark, I rerolled my Energy/Elec Brute and made her a Praetorian spy..and... just wow...everything so far is being defeated with utmost ease...I just might keep her this time

If I'm correct, when you enter the base, you get a three button window that pops up on the screen; the top one is "Edit Base", the one under it should say something like "Add Personal Items", and 3rd I think is "Edit Base Layout" or the such.
On the middle/2nd button, "Add Personal Items", you should see the crafted crucible under there, so long as you have base editing priveleges turned on.
It's been awhile since I've done this, and am at work, so I can't verify at the moment, but try that and see if your crafted Crucible is in there.

Lisa peeks into the Base Forums....I have researched, but can't find the answer to my problem anywhere...probably because as I did not build any of the bases I now have the red star for, I don't have the basic knowledge needed to do what I want to do..sorry to be confusing
In one of my Bases I have the Enchanting Crucible which does first order empowerments.
I would like to improve on this, and get the second Tier, the Arcane Crucible .
I clicked on the workshop tab and using Rune, Blood Of Incarnate, Iron, and Empowered Sigil, I hit create hoping to create an Arcane Crucible.
I am now stuck on what to do. The Enchanting Crucible did not turn into an Arcane Crucible. I went into Edit Base mode and looked around for it.
In Edit mode, I ran into a room which can take 6 empowerment and has 0 placed.
I looked in the Empowerment Tab and saw only a lone Enchanting Crucible, then I recalled something I read from Paragon Wiki which made me check out the Arcane Workshop tab...there I saw lots of Forges but no Crucibles.
I have enough Prestige to do this...about 2888186
So, to recap, I paid my salvage to the proper place, I have enough prestige, I have enough room to place it..what do I do now?
I have never built a base from scratch, nor did I build the Enchanting Crucible, so I am probably missing something so obvious the guide writers thought it was too obvious to include.

I hear you. For me, Plasma Shield made the armor look wrong.
Wht I do now is I use the original colors BUT I change Plasma Shield to Dark Flames, and instead of using the original color, I use a dark red color instead..to find it, go to the Black circle, it is the color on the far left, go down one circle, then over one circle...that is my chosen color to replace Plasma Shield. I love the way the colors intermingle especially while jumping.

I have no earthly idea about Taskforces and their ilk as I don't do them, but my Fire/Elec Brute is turning out to be hella fun and effective
I am now kicking myself for not playing her more than I have...I think she will be my next 50.

This game has always been kind to soloers and duoers, and now, whap, the game seemingly is slapping all of my kind in the face and telling us we are not wanted anymore...because if all of the next issues are going to be like this one, that is exactly what they are saying..actions speak louder than words remember.

I have been using Sands and Ghost Axe with great gusto for years.
My question had to do with the effects of Damage Over Time on Elec/ sleep field. I understood thet Damage Over Time would keep the bad guys awake, so when I suddenly realized that Sands Of MU is Damage Over Time, I got curious and started wondering if Sands was hindering my ability to sleep the bad guys, and maybe Ghost Axe would be the better choice for /Elec....yes, I think in run on sentences
I felt stupid asking the question, but I really wanted to know, and everyone says if you have a question to ask....sigh....I wasn't meaning to be stupid. Sorry if I came across that way.

Yes indeed I can recreate her. Her costume and powers are saved..thank goodness...or are they still?????...if she vanished, did her settings vanish too??? Hmmm need to go check on that.
Both of us did indeed send in Petitions...so hopefully all will be well.

Dang..I can't find the tec forums, but I am a player, and I do have a question.. has anyone else lost anything when the servers woke up?
I logged in to Infinity and to my astonishment my new Brute is gone...and Mark swears he is missing some Incarnate stuff he got last night.
Something odd is going on.
