Global Chat came later, so couldn't be fitted like that. Subsequent games Cryptic Studios made did work like that, however.

Also, the new Producer's Letter throws into question what they're actually doing for the Global Names (they may be pre-pending them with EU, same as the NCsoft account names). -

This time, it's about the new TF and SF for Issue 20. I expect an official post about the article will be forthcoming shortly, but here's the early heads-up -
Have all the devs down tools on new content for a day and see what bugs can be resolved in the existing build.
Something for everyone you see, graphics glitches, costume inconsistencies, AI pathing, power descriptions, power icons, power detailed info, checking mission door spawns, etc.
I reckon a day of this would see some healthy changes -
During one of the tests of Ustream Zwillinger said that it will be recorded, yes.
For any of my EU bretheren who want questions asked, drop me a PM - I'm an EU player but living in the USA so will be around for this chat. Just understand that if I get a swarm of questions, I may not be able to get them all asked/answered. -

Since all EU Global Names are going to be created at first character login from the date of the server list merge I believe that what the devs/ops team is actually doing is removing the EU Global Server completely.
This means that all the EU Global Channels will (under the original "plan") cease to be, and would need recreating by the community.
The "other options" Zwill is probably looking at is to perhaps seed the US Global Server with channels from the EU Global Server. However issues such as channel ops, collisions with channels existing both sides and so on will need to be looked at.
Of course, no option but the original plan may be feasible. For instance, as there will be no EU Global Names at merge time, I can't see how channel ops could be assigned. This is the sort of thing they are probably looking at. -
I think the Incarnate raid system has been designed with having more raids in mind. We know that there are two more in the works at the moment and I suspect having the four will be just about right - since successful runs will be in short supply to begin with (as noone will have the Incarnate abilities they do on Beta/Test).
Once we can run one of four different (approx 1 hr) raids I reckon we'll be set for the Common -> Rare run of the first four new Incarnate slots. I reckon we could probably do with another big raid for the Rare -> Very Rare stretch, however. -

Arachnos Research and Development will be holding a costume competition with a Robotics theme (not scientists/inventors but the robots/cyborg/android itself). Judged by MZ and Dr D, judging will consider primarily the appearance of your character but will also take into account naming and biography as well.
There will be a selection of prizes handed out on the night, plus three eventual winners will be chosen who will have a pick from...
Apocalypse: Chance for Negative Energy Dam (Very Rare Ranged Set IO)
Hecatomb: Chance for Negative Energy Dam (Very Rare Melee Set IO)
Gravitational Anchor: Chance for Hold (Very Rare Immobilisation Set IO)
Only one of each invention is available, so the first prize winner will get first choice, second prize will pick from the two remaining and the third prize winner will get the last. For your convenience these are already crafted, and together comprise a prize fund of almost 1 billion inf at todays market prices.
All participants are recommended to have two recipe inventory slots, and one enhancement inventory slot available for receipt of prizes (should you be lucky enough to win).

For Teleport Pool powers, I'd say...
- TP Ally: No change.
- TP Foe: Increase Mag to affect everything except AV's, remove interrupt, increase recharge time (to compensate).
- Teleport: No change needed.
- Group TP: No change (it has very limited use, but some people will be sad to see it go) but add an Assemble the Team clone as a fifth power (unlocked at the same time as Group TP).

Yep - tested for it specifically using a Power Analyzer and slotted Diamagnetic Interface on MZ.
Most people are likely to go for Reactive Interface (-Res/+DoT) as it's a direct increase in damage, however I'm a fan of Diamagnetic Interface (-Regen/-ToHit) since I struggle with nothing else but AV's (and -ToHit stacks with +Def from FF/Barrier Destiny) and it's the only Interface ability with a 100% proc chance at higher levels. -

Still some outstanding issues for devs to answer...
- Raised in [Defiant Events], one player is in receipt of a GM message informing them that EU and US Global names have been a merged list since around Issue 14. Is this true, as it would set most minds to rest if they know their Global is already unique (and if not true, will halt rumours accordingly)
- What will happen with Global Chat Channels? (myself and others have asked this, but no answer has yet been forthcoming)
