Only a day left to get those costumes/bios in order ready for the competition on Friday. Hope you've all got good concepts 
Quick question -- does the robot need to be Arachnos themed, or are non-Arachnos robots okay?

We had a nice turnout for the competition, and all the competitors walked away with a [Plasmatic Taser] for their troubles.
After due consideration by myself and Dr Darkespark , we got down to out 8 finalists - Defective, Volt Hunter, Cocktail Companion, Cryo Unit N-Tech, The Mask of Damz, ExtraGonk, MDSU459, and Dread Bot. These competitors all got a [Backup Radio] for their outstanding costumes.
However, their could only be three winners!
From Left to Right: Defective, Cryo Unit N-Tech and Cocktail Companion
First Place went to Cryo Unit N-Tech who chose the Hecatomb: Chance for Negative Energy Dam. Second Place went to Defective who chose the Apocalypse: Chance for Negative Energy Dam. Third Place went to Cocktail Companion who received the Gravitational Anchor: Chance for Hold.
Thanks to all our competitors, we had a blast and hope you did too!

Perhaps a question for the winner to answer, but what are those gloves that Cryo Unit N-Tech is wearing?
It looks like they've got a glow to them? Or have not had enough coffee yet this morning?

Those are the resistance gloves you get if you have GR. they do actually glow on their own.

Arachnos Research and Development will be holding a costume competition with a Robotics theme (not scientists/inventors but the robots/cyborg/android itself). Judged by MZ and Dr D, judging will consider primarily the appearance of your character but will also take into account naming and biography as well.
There will be a selection of prizes handed out on the night, plus three eventual winners will be chosen who will have a pick from...
Apocalypse: Chance for Negative Energy Dam (Very Rare Ranged Set IO)
Hecatomb: Chance for Negative Energy Dam (Very Rare Melee Set IO)
Gravitational Anchor: Chance for Hold (Very Rare Immobilisation Set IO)
Only one of each invention is available, so the first prize winner will get first choice, second prize will pick from the two remaining and the third prize winner will get the last. For your convenience these are already crafted, and together comprise a prize fund of almost 1 billion inf at todays market prices.
All participants are recommended to have two recipe inventory slots, and one enhancement inventory slot available for receipt of prizes (should you be lucky enough to win).
