  1. The detailwork and patterns are zoggin' beautiful. The hair, not being straight stock from the costume editor, is quite refreshing too. Even managed to overcome my reflexive "Quick, hit her while she's phased in!" reaction to spotting an illusionist XD
  2. Holy crap! Congrats man! This has been sitting on my to-play list for awhile, another victim of rampant procrastination. To put it simply, that will have to change.
  3. This I can heartily support. Even though I have both Collectors Editions (though the CoH disc seems to have been lost to the carpet gnomes) there are still plenty of people who'd want the in-game goodies. Plus, anything that generates extra income for the devs is a good thing. It's a wonder why they haven't made it happen already, to be honest.
  4. Egads! It lives again!

Good to see you again, man!
  5. What's wrong with pole dancers?

Also, high five to the Pantless One on that classic zinger.

(And to everyone who's reading this suggestion and exclaiming "Surely you can't be serious!", no, we're not being serious. And don't call me Shirley.)
  6. Boy I hope my job interview goes well today, as I clearly need the moniez. Thanks Posi!

Though /em poledancefail sounds hilarious, I admit...
  8. While I like the overall concept of the rangefinder, using it for normal missions would get old real fast. Radio/Newspaper missions, which generally have a "You heard about this earlier" theme, would be an okay fit, but I can easily see people who grind those missions throwing a fit over the extra work.

It's a neat gimmick that would be cool to use more often, but it'd monkeywrench the current grind too drastically.
  9. Boy it's awesome seeing Rowr's flagship piece of artwork again...
  10. Gob-smacking curve and detail work, Wass!
  11. As I said on dA, you did an outstanding job bringing a great-looking character design to life. Lurk less!

I believe my emotions can best be summed up by everyone's favorite mouthy twerp from Boston. Thanks Chris!

And Battlewraith, in response to seeing the completed Trix piece...

Worth every last penny I spent on the comission. You did a spectacular job.

Time to figure out how this livestream thingamabobber works...
  14. *shuffles in*

If you have the time, could you add the arc "Dragonslayers" to your to-do list? In the meantime, I'll happily play and review any arcs you might have in return.

If that's the case, then file this idea under "HA HA DISREGARD THAT, I SUCK". But yeah, if it's doable it'd be great to see.
  16. Alright, this is an idea that's been taking up space in my brain for a long time, ever since i11 came out. Basically, why not use Weapon (and now Power Customization) on all the NPC badguys out there?

    Ideas include:
-Tinting Longbow Nullifiers' assault rifles in official Longbow colors of Bullseye Red and Camoflauge is for Sissies White.
-Tint the weapon colors of Tsoo bosses: Give Bronze Leopards bronze-colored claws, Copper Serpents either green normal spines or metallic copper metal spines, and change the color of katana-using bosses' swords to fit their themes (Black for NE, blue for electricity, red for fire, etc.)
-Tint Clockwork electrical attacks pink (blueside) and red (redside) as a hint towards what's actually powering them *braces self for the outcry on this one*
-Give Wyvern compound bows instead of the generic model, and give their bosses the laser sight version.
-Tint the force fields various critters use to look faction-specific (yellow-ish for Fake Nemesi, red for Crey Juggernauts, bright green for Rikti Guardians, etc.)

The biggest idea, and my original one, is aimed at the Warriors. They've been swinging the same generic weapons for so long now. Perhaps create a new model for Axe, Broadsword, and Mace for Warrior bosses, and let the Leigonairre badge unlock them for players? I'll admit I'm stumped on how to design a weapon that looks particularly "Warrior"-ish (Other than to tie bicycle streamers to it </obscurejoke>), but that's what interns are for, right?
  17. Over the years the existence of the Rogue Isles has caused me to ponder several questions about the politics and infastructure of this independant nation.

    1. What's the currency of the Rogue Isles? Is it unique to the country or do they just use US dollars for simplicity's sake?

    2. Are the Isles represented in the United Nations? If so, is there an official delegate or does Lord Recluse have to step in? (I keep seeing the image of a cranky-looking Recluse wedged into one of those council seats while the delegates on either side of him try not to get clipped by his extra limbs)

    3. The Isles *are* a sovereign nation, right? Thus the presence of Longbow troops on Mercy could be a potential international incident? And if Nerva isn't controlled by the Isles, who does?

    4. Do Wolf Spider troopers serve as the official, civic police force on most islands? If so, what's the point of the Rogue Island Police (other than as a Wolf Spider boot camp)?

    5. Who are all the current Govenors and Marshals for all of the islands?

    6. Why doesn't Arachnos evacuate the remaining civilians from Bloody Bay and Warburg (come to think of it, why hasn't Longbow helped the locals there either?)

    How long...

Good to hear there's signs of resolution, there. And yeah, probably best to just take the art and leave this mess in the past as quickly as possible.
  19. Looks outstanding! Sure hope the guys appreciate it.

Bella Tanner was a notorious arsonist, laying waste to vast tracks of Texas prairies and extorting obscene "protection fees" from local farmers and ranchers.

When the locals banded together and fought back with hi-tech fire prevention robots, Bella decided to step up her game too. With her sister's help, she broke into a local petrochemical plant looking for some new breakthrough in explosives and incendiaries. What she found was Mercury 7, a catalyst designed to turn organic waste into an efficient fuel. What Mercury 7 DID do was turn every cell in Bella's body into a fuel plant. Her blood, tears- all highly flammable. She literally sweats napalm.

She stepped up her game alright- this goes way beyond rolling yokels for protection money!
*time-delayed sounds of delight* I love it! Thank you so much
  21. It's not just the Steel Canyon arsons zombies go after, either: The other night I was shooting for the Raver and DJ badges and suddenly had zombies crashing the Troll rave. I quickly discovered that if I held off the cone attacks and thus not aggro the shambling undead, they worked wonders in softening up the trolls and let me defeat them faster. This was only after I weathered a few volleys of painful, -fly inducing projectile vomit, but in the end it worked out.
  22. See if you can sneak up and drop a trip mine at their feet. Always good for a laugh.

And yeah, DE do have the occasional autumn-patterend disguise as well as green

    Happy Halloween!

She sure taught that Fir Bolg not to mess with her c.c

Great stuff as usual man! And with trademark lightning speed from pencils to color, too. You're not perma-hasted, are you?
  24. And oddly enough, I was messing around with the idea of creating an Anon villain recently. Nice work.
