  1. That many requests?

I must say, all this cool artwork has inspired me pick up my graphics tablet again. Pity I'm not actually all that great at drawing though :P
  2. I'm in no hurry, even if it takes a few months (or never gets done!).
If black and white is less time consuming for you I don't mind mine being done that way, I like both color and B&W.

    Holophonics

Is this different from 3d sound?

Maybe try a search on "writers forum", turns up a few but I have no idea how good or bad they might be. I don't mind having a look at the first bit, I'm not sure my feedback would be worth much though.
  5. Reminds me of that fat little Swiss kid from the Simpson's.
"Don't make me run! I'm full of chocolate!"

  6. Do you also get a "surrender lunch money" temp power?

A Grandville PvP zone would be cool

    [/ QUOTE ]

Hope this doesn't happen, Grandville is pants.
  8. Out of interest. How much time/effort do you think it would take for someone to get good at pvp on a FF/Archery defender before I13?

    rookie pvp event

We could try different ranges depending on how people feel. maybe start about 20 though? That way most people will have stamina if they want it and they might have a few toons they can switch between. Then if people like we can always up the level a bit later on.

IOs and sets dont make for a good pvper time, learning and skill does

    [/ QUOTE ]

Sorry for misreading you. I thought your complaint was that the IO's I assumed you have slotted are now less effective, or something along those lines.
While taking the time to learn will go some way to improving the players experience, I do feel that some sets had a much steeper learning curve than others, and that something had to be done. Whether things are any better now I don't know, I haven't decided yet.

if im free (this sat hint hint) im up for any level

    I'm busy most Saturdays :O(
Monday's, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, are the best times for me. That said if enough people want to pvp on a Saturday the zones will still be open even if I'm not around

would be fun with a arena event

    [/ QUOTE ]

    [ QUOTE ]
its a neat idea but you will get people showing up that are veteran pvpers just to annoy people.
Theres no real way to distinguish if there seasoned pvpers or not. They could always be on an alt.
I would love to join but currently i dont think im ready for it yet from my tryouts on test.

I'm hoping that any very experienced PVP'ers:

    a. Play in the spirit of the event and resist mashing very weak players into the ground 1000 times.
    b. Dislike low level PVP enough not to show up.
    c. Are evenly distributed between hero/villain factions and cancel each other out.

How about if we had an arena night next week so people can get their feet wet a bit, we can mix the teams up a bit to and try different level limits? Then if people are having fun, a trip to bloody bay could be arranged the following week?

    rookie pvp event

With the new pvp system out, I mentioned on another thread that I might try and get a night of pvp organised for rookies and people who don't normally pvp (which is why I'm posting here and not on the pvp boards).
    So...
    Would anyone be interested?
Given the target audience, I was thinking of a wee meet up in bloody bay, the arena, or, Siren's call. I'd rather not do this in warburg or RV just now.

I'm sure there was something else I wanted to say but I forget
  13. Not wanting to, or not having the time to farm yourself to glory doesn't make someone lazy, some people simply dislike that style of play.
  14. Too early to say imo.
So far my experiences have been with my widow and a fort build I just made today with the intention of making it as blastery as possible (yay dual builds!). It was also in a zone with a lot of duels going on and no teams so hardly the ideal conditions.
Finding tanks a bit surprising though.

Might arrange a rookie pvp adventure next week to give things a good test and get more people involved.
  15. I'd buy it. my copy of evil genius is borked :O(

    Sounds like Evil Genius.

  17. Yep
Would it sound bad if I said I love manbot?
  18. Beat em up where you gain levels each erm.. level and pick/slot powers like you do just now.
Actually the RTS idea reminds me a lot of freedom force.

    AR/Rad

Definitely rad. My own AR/Thermal bored the pants off me

    AR/Rad

I've heard they rock, probably because if you take hasten and AM your powers will recharge uber quick. I haven't actually gotten mine high enough to test that though.

    VEAT

    [ QUOTE ]
Well I have seen busier sections of the forums which must mean most people have blown through their VEATs and moved on.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I just haven't had anything worth posting about mine.

    Footnote;
Can they not try better marketing, hardly see anything at all in magazines, or on TV. Have heard it before in a post not sure by whom, can't they sponsor "heroes"? Sure that would make more people aware of the game and possiblely increase the player base.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Don't think the BBC explicitly takes sponsors for TV shows - so Heroes sponsorship in the UK would seem a non-starter.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Maybe they could arrange to give free trials away with heroes boxsets. Could probably apply that to any superhero DVD's what with Iron Man and the Hulk out now.
