rookie pvp event

With the new pvp system out, I mentioned on another thread that I might try and get a night of pvp organised for rookies and people who don't normally pvp (which is why I'm posting here and not on the pvp boards).
So...
Would anyone be interested?
Given the target audience, I was thinking of a wee meet up in bloody bay, the arena, or, Siren's call. I'd rather not do this in warburg or RV just now.

I'm sure there was something else I wanted to say but I forget

would be fun with a arena event

its a neat idea but you will get people showing up that are veteran pvpers just to annoy people.
Theres no real way to distinguish if there seasoned pvpers or not. They could always be on an alt.
I would love to join but currently i dont think im ready for it yet from my tryouts on test.
As the stalker group said on test before it went live 'haha l2p noob' i dont think im that good, at least thats what i think they were trying to get across despite a 3 on 1 ganking.
No im not crying about it, pvpers have worked hard to learn the skills needed to fight unfairly

I'm busy most Saturdays :O(
Monday's, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, are the best times for me. That said if enough people want to pvp on a Saturday the zones will still be open even if I'm not around

I'm hoping that any very experienced PVP'ers:

a. Play in the spirit of the event and resist mashing very weak players into the ground 1000 times.
b. Dislike low level PVP enough not to show up.
c. Are evenly distributed between hero/villain factions and cancel each other out.

How about if we had an arena night next week so people can get their feet wet a bit, we can mix the teams up a bit to and try different level limits? Then if people are having fun, a trip to bloody bay could be arranged the following week?

If you do an arena event what level range are you thinking?

We could try different ranges depending on how people feel. maybe start about 20 though? That way most people will have stamina if they want it and they might have a few toons they can switch between. Then if people like we can always up the level a bit later on.
