Browsing the US boards and noticed a few posts of people saying things like "I hate teaming with stalkers who rush off to rehide". Does this really annoy people? With naff defences I normally rehide/placate against a reasonably fresh and uncontrolled spawn of enemies.

Not sure if this is meant to be taken at face value. If so it wasnt my intention to generalise, the idea of only the easiest builds being played on either server is ridiculous.

Unless someone wants to do a poll we will just have to disagree. Obviously there are still FOTM builds on union since many people just want to win, or switch over when a toon they like better gets hammered once too often.

Last I checked energy blast wasnt considered Fotm (not to mention the blaster was created before I4 was even a twinkle in statesmans eye). Also I am appalled to know that stalker Claws are now Flavour of the month

Damn, your right because I clearly stated that ALL toons on defiant were FOTM ones. Now with your sarcasm returned back, my previous post simply said there was a stronger FOTM culture on defiant. Of course not all toons will be FOTM ones.

There's a huge difference in pvp styles across servers and I dont enjoy how PVP is played on defiant. There also seems to be far more pvp'ing heroes while Union is more balanced for sides or at least swings from hero to villain advantage every hour or so.

Lets hope server hopping never becomes possible then.

Same here. Seems the thread has been moved, deleted or is otherwise unavailable. Even a search on the US site turns up empty.

A bit more HP would be nice but it sounds like you will have more success by refining your strategy a bit. Look for powers that are poorly or not often resisted. If a scrapper is giving you trouble, try fear or telekinesis. If he is spines (or a blaster) try confusing him, I've seen tons of spine scrappers who spam impale end up sticking there buddy. If he is dark armor, try levitate or that kb thing in energy, some people dont have accrobatics in sirens call. Consider getting combat jumping, hurdle and leaping and learn to move like [censored] off a shovel and how to use cover when you dont want to fight. Lastly, pick a fast animating, fast recharging attack in your assault set, slot it for accuracy and recharge and use it as often as possible to build domination.

I used wraps on the feet and hands and tight "patchy" pants. Also bare chest but with a small, spikey mohawk hair doo.

I was thinking of wheeling Motor Mouth out to see how he does against those invasions. I could see traps being really useful since the rikti will just spawn right on top of them once they get going.

So thats why all these avatars have been appearing. I thought there was some huge conspiricy to flood the forums with alike avatars and confuse the pants off me :P

I meant they are good for to compare hero and villain performance since they have the same powers. Same as kin/dark dark/kin, and emp/psi psi/emp. oops. villains dont get psi blast or empathy.

I dont see RV being any heavier on NPC's than the other zones, in fact, I'd say SC is far worse for NPC's getting involved.
