I love my Job; I took my client to see it.

For me the action was good out of 4
the acting was, the story was pure Saturday morning, and the changes to the lore is ok since its a movie.
However, at the end, Cobra Commander needed a better look IMO, and Destro just worked even with the flaws i.e. ears. Moreover, let’s just say for seeing the Ninth Doctor being Evil is "Wonderful" (in northern English accent).
And if you not a teenage boy looking for hot women, there is still some appeal to this film.

Mariel Martog: looks at it and cast a good fortune spell on it

Inquisitor Tiburon Ordo Malleus: Regularly rescues Cats and and kittens and takes them to No Kill shelters (some times he may destroy a group of magic users before he does this)

Irken/Evil Irken: runs away and hides, he hasn't figured out Cats and thinks they are an alien race also bent on conquoring the human race one woman at a time.

Malkavian Who: will pick it up pet it then go and watch T.V. while petting it (even if its in a shopping mall.)

Kontrol Faktor = "In Komunist Russia we took Kare of our Kats. Give them Vodka and Salmon"

Racheal May Winter : "aahh does putty wanta home?" (she being a crew member on a Space Pirate Ship that has hundreds of cats on it, because of her)

As the original poster once said City of Heroes Had some Issues, and the person behind Statesman would answer in ways that were not always pleasing.
My roommate and I went to some Con here in L.A.. We wanted to see him and ask him some questions, and to see if he would sign his "hero click" which he did. this was around when Villains was first announced.

My roommate and I had some serious questions for him.
Sadly, my memory is not perfect so these are not direct quotes.

Roommates’ question:
“I would like to revisit past mission arcs solo with my level 50?”

Statesman’s answer:
“We have the Side Kick system for that, and you can always role another character to try the different content, we don’t feel any single character should be able to solo all the content.”

Super group on Virtue
I made the group about four years ago, never really tried to get members, but that is going to Change today, with the vast amount of new players that have gained levels, due to the AE I have realized that maybe now it is time to fill the ranks.
What is the Idea behind the legion of the Dammed? Well basically it’s a RP guild for Alts at the moment.
But what I will try and do is build an all purpose Guild with a theme. The theme is basic, former villains, poorer less flashy hero’s, social outcasts, anyone who for one reason or another just doesn’t have it easy being good, but they do good in spite they really should be an evil villain. You can get a hold of me @Mariel_Martog and ask about joining.

RP Level: the Idea is full time RP, but really let’s see who joins before its set in stone.

PvP Level: same as above, I like PVP but haven’t done much in COX

Theme/Concept: out casts who should be evil, but are not.

Activity: right now just 3 members, with about 10 alts….

Requirements for Membership: -an interest in joining, even if it’s to park an alt, only thing I don’t want are folks who are not nice to others ((ooc)) the Idea is if you’re a well known RP’r who wants to hide on an alt while having fun this would be a good choice.

Hello, I know no one actually tries them for any thing but boss farming, but if you want something different, with a story then look Up @Mariel_Martog and take a trip to the 40k universe.

the story is how an Ordo Malleus Inquisitor came to Paragon City.

it has 5 parts

Parts 1 and 2 are battles being won By Chaos. the maps used are city maps, the villains are all Lieutenants and are rather hard to battle. but the objectives are easy.

Parts 3 and 4 are ship board and are extremely hard.

and the final mission is in Paragon City facing a super-powered and fairly well know Police officer.

I hope someone has what it takes to try this Mission.

and I hope to receive some kind of useful feedback other then (good, bad, ) more like ( you misspelled X in Y, or X needs to be Y)

since 2004 I have had an alt based on a jhonen vasquez character His Name on Virture was The Ireken, I love my little Green Fire/Bubble controller. and he is an *****, made for many very funny RP sessions I even had him in my sig... but now look what I had to type!!! since when was ***** a naughty word? i understand ****, ****, *******, *******, cumguzzler, ***, ****

I really need some feed back on this mission, I need to know how it plays for others.

Forget for a moment that I've played pen and paper RPGs since the late 70s. Forget that I've played nearly all the major MMOs @ one point or another, the real issue is with CoH in particular.

The types of people that RP in this game are pretty much social deviants as near as I can tell. Virtue in particular is a breeding ground for this type of behavior. I've been playing CoH since closed Beta. The first year was a great time on Virtue. We had HEROES * GASP ! * not vamps and devils and "DETHGAWD" the hero ?!? C'mon.

Half the battle of RP is immersion. It's tough when this game has gone so far from "heroes" that we, who actually play a character that resembles a hero and acts as a hero are the exception, not the rule.

The population is small enough on all the servers that they should just create a Goth server, and allow a free transfer to it for all the folks that think that is what CoH is. I'd love to have my game back.

I too have played most MMO's and many Pre-MMO ((MUDS)) I have also done WOD LARP, and as for pen and papper Cyberpunk, AD&D, and I am currently DM'ing a 4th ed. Game set in my rather unusual world.

I also started in the 1st year, however I was not on Beta, and was one of the 1st Vampire characters on Virtue,

(Mariel was based on my Favorite AD&D character who got cursed with Vampirism, I tweaked it a little to fit with the 7 other Vampires on the server at the time and Made her more WOD at the time.)

i was not filled with this games Lore, and from what i saw very few at the time where, needless the RP wasn't ERP, it was everywhere, and I realy liked the club before the D. right around the end of the 1st year when I got to lvl 50 i started to play a lot of WOW, but to have fun in that game you have to grind, and I got tired of non stop grinding and then raiding at set time set day every week. it started to feel like work, so i came back, and though I have had a lot of fun, and even got a fun alt back in the new version of my old guild, I have yet to find any RP even with my old freinds from long ago who may talk and chat ((OOC with me on the global channel, I haven't seen any RP except in the D, and we all Know whats going on there...

so to my point yes the RP here has turned in to verbal foreplay at the D, and I'm sure that somewhere people are doing good story telling but the vaste majority of RP'ers are now just playing the game. and this game still holds a lot of fun in that esp.. with all the new things they have added and are still adding.

as for the goth thing, been goth since 1989, ran a goth/industrial night club at one point, and as i near 40 years i am still as goth as i was at 18, its a sub-culture and a way of life that is differant than the norm, but has been around as long as people... if i had time i would show the historic perspective, as for EMO, its not a full subculture, how ever it has been around a very long time just like goth, and there is even some overlap in music, fashion and other things, the one Major differance and as far as I can tell the only differance is the attitude, a goth may cut herself with a razor blade, and so will the EMO but the goth was doing it for the Art, the EMO for the pain... the differance is very subtle but its major.

AE is a great tool and gives you some really cool abilities. I was getting fed up with the same crap we would normally see and now I can make my own or try and find someone else's cool creation.

Currently AE is being abused but I am sure anything new will be exploited as much as possible. It's a new toy - let the novelty wear off and maybe things will return to 'normal'

((I have created a Mission that is silly and hopefully entertaining. I did an original which is easily solo’d and a remake on a bigger map which is meant to be challenging for a team. The second part is a rave with a “AV” the raver’s will kick the butt of the monsters you just need to get the “AV” and then party, and beware the rave is strangely lacking in females but then the rave is for actors, producers, and directors. To find it look it up by my global @Mariel_Martog I have been tweaking it a lot, changing the power sets ect. So I would like feedback, and if a Spanish speaker could check the grammar of the remake, since it is meant to be a studio in México. Thank you for your consideration.))

edit: on the remake I was thinking of running it up to a 50+ but I don't want it used for farming. so right now its sits at 20+.

For me I see lots of new blood coming in since AE, and yes the option for farmers is now at a all time high...

However, I feel AE is good. Moreover, even a little heavy boss missions are ok. The reasons are simple, stalled characters and getting to inside the minds of your friends.
1. Stalled characters – we all have them awesome character Ideas that don’t work unless they are over a certain level. Example: I had a concept for a character 4 years ago Malkavian Who an androgynous Vampire who was neither male nor female. I couldn’t pull it off because I needed two characters created in the same outfit as both male and female, now with the new booster and getting quickly to level 20 I can play it.
2. Looking inside the strange and awkward ideas that your fellow players have, come on nothing better than Lizards Vs Catgirls, or even my B-Movie tributes with Ed Wood as a quest giver.
I should also point out that for the longest time I have wanted to do the sewer trial and last week was the 1st time I got a team, granted we failed but it was my 1st attempt in 5 years. Speaking of which this weekend I need to try again, also I have a list of trail I need to do… ;-)

edit and the draw back to netbook MMO gaming is the video card just barly meets spec, so I will limit when i do it for RP, and running my controller, or MM which are less twitch based then my scrapper and warshade.
