I moved all of my least played characters to the least played servers. I play socially, so it makes sense to me to have all my favorite characters on the servers where my friends where.
This led to a LOT of rearranging. -
Quote:I think the classy thing to do would be standard spoiler warnings. As I said before, the OP said "minor spoilers" and listed the first twist. GG gave no warning. That's why I'm upset. At this point if people don't want the game spoiled, forum ignore is a viable option if it weren't for those who quote
For heaven's sake, put "Spoiler Warning" in a thread and you can post whether Snape is good, who shot J.R., the identity of the Smoke Monster, and why Count Olaf hates the Baudelaire orphans for all I care.
To do so without a warning is crass. -
Quote:I won't repeat it here for the sake of people that skip to the end of the thread, but at least one thing you said I didn't even remotely expect... probably because there's no indication of it anywhere.None of those are plot twists or spoliers - they're all blindlingly obvious
You seem to have a rather fuzzy idea of what exactly a spoiler is
You also confirmed a common theory that was not yet public knowledge. So yes, you did rip open something that I didn't know at all. Which is screen punchingly annoying, too, as I've been avoiding spoilers and playing as Responsibility Loyalist specifically to reach these revelations the same time as my character did. I understand that such a goal was my own and I couldn't ask the world to stop talking while I played, but to have all of it thrown out like this is more than a little frustrating.
C'mon, double G's. Don't you want everyone else to experience the game with the same wonder that you did when you got into Beta? -
Given to him by a steampunk fan.

I wanted to stay in this thread and then Golden Girl started spewing out spoilers like a smashed fire hydrant. Slowly backing away...
Edit: To clarify, I'm calling you out specifically, GG, because the OP said "Mild Spoiler" before stating the premise of the game. You were the one that literally posted a list of the plot twists in Going Rogue. -

Quote:Same here. I forgot how much character establishment is done before the Demon Hipster Chicks...When I rewatched it, I found myself like Bart and Milhouse when watching Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie:
"When are they going to get to the fireworks factory?"
Except, sub-in Chaos Theatre for Fireworks Factory and Scott and Gideon for Itchy and Scratchy.
Also, I want Todd's Number 3 t-shirt and Gideon's 3 G/Inverted Triforce t-shirt. -
Saw it again. Still flawed. Still forgiveably so. An incredible movie.

Never one to care about technical game mechanics, they are bursting with style and theatricality. For that reason, I like engaging them. So much more compelling than mobs. :-)

Quote:Indeed. Expendables, by all accounts, wasn't trying to be anything more than steak 'n' bullets. Scott Pilgrim actually aims high and hits it for the most part. Shame people voted the other way.Ouch....
America has NO taste.
(the above is a point of view statement. Should you disagree, TOUGH!!)
Oh, and can we use the phrase "steak 'n' bullets" from now on? I really like it. -
St. Martial for all the reasons the OP said plus it still manages to be my favorite zone anywhere.
Hero-side... I don't know the Blues well enough, so let's just say The Hollows again. Why not? -
Quote:Server population is back up. Seems everyone changed their mind by the weekend, which is a good coincidence, too, as that's when most have their free time.Originally Posted by SunpulseI'm hardly the only one thinking this. The rise and fall of server population can show some indication.

Actually, I have every intent on staying. I just want to get as much mileage out of this picture as possible.

Screw this. The Win Train is leaving this thread.
Choo-choo, foo's. -

Start at point zero: The world wanting someone that will take their freedoms away for this vague idea of "The greater good". Ripple it out and see where it would logically take your character. There's your Praetorian.
My main villain is viciously insane. A psychopath (Rather, a sociopath with incurable boredom and a case full of guns. Anyway...)
In Praetoria, his psychotic tendencies could have been fixed via Seers very early on. As such, his skills would have been reallocated to something more productive. Hence, he is a Loyalist.
