I'm in awe. You rarely see something that well done. It was actually... moving.
Incredible. -

More than anything, it amuses me that this is the thread getting the attention.

Just read the actual article and... holy gosh are people crazy.

Locking mine in. I know one of them will fail, but the next two days will be too busy for me to look up a replacement. Hopin' that my prized race horse carries me through.
Good luck, all! -
OK I loved Rescue Rangers when I was younger but c'mon this is taking fandom to a new level.

Quote:Sorry you find that boring. I find that hilarious and the new high bar.My bots/FF MM was so boring.
Once I triggered as many ambushes as I could at once in the Peregrine Island Mayhem mission bank. I had the difficulty set to the max for back then. I buffed my pets and the NPC I rescued from jail. I went and took a shower and got a snack.
Came back to 4 of my robots (lost one protector bot and one battle bot) and the NPC all fine and dandy. -
No, they're not. My main is an MM. My goal (at which I succeeded) was to make a character that could fully keep up with my allies while I was afk.
Once kept up with everyone else during a Rikti warship raid while reading a fantastic article in "/em newspaper". -
I predict an epic special edition DVD and a cult following that never dies. Only drawback: Most un-shadowcastable movie ever.

I was expecting it to be about the orgy being planned at PAX...

Quote:That's more what I had. Disagreeing with the professor was encouraged, but you had to listen to the people that agreed with her as well. The most valuable thing in any given lesson was that you traded ideas.I went to a considerably "liberal" college in Southern California and took one required philosophy course. The professor made it a point NOT to interject his own opinions or "truths," but rather engage the class and make us think about it. He never gave straight answers for anything... and we were all the better for it, in the end.
Obviously some colleges/universities are doing it wrong. -

Up and for the reads.
Also worth note: Nemesis's Twitter account. Frankly, the very idea of these two people even having Twitters crack me up. The fact that Nemesis is legitimately funny on top of that is just icing. -
Quote:The detail that goes into the AI programming continues to amaze me...The Grief flag gets set to true when the enemy's morale breaks. Morale can break because a team mate died too quickly, or because they cannot attack their enemy effectively. So, if a group of softcapped players AoE nuke half a spawn down, the rest are pretty likely to run away -- a bunch of their team just died AND their odds of being able to retaliate are at minimal levels.

Quote:You just described my experience with every task force I've ever been on. Now I want to team with you. This is probably for the best since I tend to be rather chatty and joke-spewing while teaming. People I play with generally find me amusing at first and respond to my quips... then after a while the "LOL"'s taper off... then I am pretty much guaranteed dead silence after each of my jokes..

Oooh! I like that twist! I have a far greater perspective on what my challengers are. I know just which video is getting the axe. :P
