Quote:An interview with Jane Lynch pretty much stated how the Regionals of Glee would play out. Dang near threw it across the room.Gotta love opening the magazine to the opening section with the photos and seeing and reading those unwanted spoilers!
Heh, my mom's husband ordered for me as a gift. Feels like a curse. -
Quote:I'd love a chance to fight Hardcase when he's so angry and full of (justifiable) righteous fury that he's capable of all the things that, merely hinting at, intimidated your character into betraying Vivacious. My proposed rewrite: You get two options; you can go along with Hardcase and clean up the mess you made, or you can go along with Verandi and make even more of a mess, forcing Hardcase to clean it up, after which you have to fight him. Either way, the status quo is maintained, but you have a choice, and either way you're not being railroaded into anything.

You keep your dirty, infamy grubbing hands off one of my favorite arcs in the game. That arc is the only one that compares the I17 Clone arcs in the joy of being a bratty super villain.
It's hilarious! You and Verandi are just two jerks with super powers that are "doing it for the lulz". She gives you little more reason than "It'll be hilarious". It's joy riding and smashing mail boxes with your powers-of-deities. Then Daddy Hardcase calls you in and gives you a very stern talking to, making you mow the lawn and fix the mailboxes.
The whole arc was exactly what my character would act like and how the world would treat him. Unless you want to add an option to flip Hardcase the finger even after Verandi's true intentions are revealed, I want no changes. -

Points to you, sir. Points upon points.
Didn't see the show, but it would have been awesome if it ended with the kids going up to Jimmy and saying that they lost to Vocal Adrenaline; that he was stuck with the bill for their trip. -
Any and every villain arc where the theme is "You stand on the precipice of true villainy. Are you ready to forgo redemption?"
I believe Westin Phipps is one. Hardcase is another. I want each and every one of those to have choices scattered throughout. Choices that give and take rogue points. -
Legend says that the first forum post was a complaint that people with phone lines were now OP'd.

Quote:Well, that was simply amazing. Thank you.
Truly awesome opening. The cherry on top was Joel McHale being in their Glee Club. The levels of meta-humor there would cost a Cthonian Cultist sanity loss.
Oh, and points to anyone that recognized the outfit they wore. -
That's it. You're about to get hominem'd.
...
I find your fashion sense to be outdated. Surely your intent is to represent some sort of ironic 2006 garb in a post-modern take on fashion. At least, I hope that's your intent, because the alternative is... dreadful.
Either way, your clothes are so loud they drown out your points. Your statements are as invalid as Stephen Hawking's cameo in Gattaca. -

Quote:This entirely. Glee's compelling, but on absolutely no level is it deserving of anything that relates to its writing. The two awards it got were spot on and eagle eye'd calls.I am glad that Modern Family won. I love Glee, but it is a hot mess. Modern Family is like a honed piece of humor machinery.
For best comedy, it simply had to be either Community or Modern Family. It's absolutely refreshing to see a show recognized for its tightly written original/yet comfortable formula.

Will go read the rest of the awards later. First awards show in a long time that hasn't had me punching kittens afterwards.
Note to self: Track down Glee Emmy clip to find out what's up. -
Screw it. Everyone that trolls this thread is getting an Ad hominem in the face. And it'll be on topic.

Interesting. I was considering Ramona Flowers as the narrator...
-
I'm really torn on how to do it. The following issues I have to overcome:
1) The arc clearly would shine under six missions. I have five.
2) The story is very much told from the narrator's point of view, which is Scott. You are not Scott.
3) For some reason, I can't design Matthew Patel in the character creation system.
The rest I'm working on. -
Wait... this happened in Praetoria?
Okay, then that person was explicitly incorrect. I could understand if you made a Villain, went Rogue, and then wanted to pretend for concept's sake that none of that ever happened...
... but it is a critical part of Praetoria's very concept that one's make up doesn't determine their persona. That's part and parcel of the "No one is who they seem" concept integral to experiencing Praetoria. -
SMBC Theater is here to present a theatrical presentation on the dangers of Ad hominems.
Enjoy! (Warning NSFW: Mild language and violence) -
I'm embarrassed it took me this long to realize a Scott Pilgrim vs The World AE arc needs to exist. BRB...

Quote:My contribution to this spine chilling theory:I think Hamidon exists in Praetoria (those of us who have been in the sewer system there have heard something down there, I have no idea what), but after a nuclear holocaust where Praetoria may be the only city on the planet?
It's way way more than an amoeba. I like to think of the phrase 'The Coming Storm' as a perfect storm. One that has the very worst elements blended together in the most perfect way.
When the stories of the survivors of the Shadow Shard tell you that Rularuu broke his world...and Praetorian Earth came so close to being broken....I look at Rularuu...and Hamidon.
Food for thought....

Quote:No one truly knows what happened. These are the facts we have:Isnt Cole one incarnate and was able to handle the hami by himself?
Hamidon is scary.
Cole goes to fight Hamidon.
No cameras.
Cole comes back and says "Hamidon is held off but still a threat. I couldn't kill him. I could just vaguely restrain him."
Everything beyond that is speculation. Edit: I personally believe that Hamidon is alive but definitely agree that something is... off. Actually shifting to 20% believing that Hamidon's been dead the whole time. -
With the exception of Phoenix Wright, Guybrush Threepwood, or Prince Alexander, I'm fairly certain most people find trophies to be ultimately useless.
