Yeah, the hardware defect that caused 98% of RRODs was fixed back in '07 or '08, though since that particular defect (present only in the first few manufacturing runs) will always cause RROD eventually, RRODs can be repaired free of charge within three years, warranty or no warranty (this is from experience, I had no warranty, and they even sent me the boxes in which to ship the 360 so that I didn't even have to pay for shipping).

The rare case of RROD these days is generally experienced by anonymous people on the internet.

According to Wikipedia, The Brave and the Bold comic took off in the mid 60s due to the Batman TV series and became an exclusive Batman teams up with <blank> comic. I also have no idea what the dialog was like in those comics either.
    Probably very similar.

And that's another thing I like about The Brave and the Bold. It's got a lot of fanservice, like JLU but with more screentime for the minor characters used. I think Red Tornado has more dialogue in just one episode of B&B than he had in the entire run of JLU.

    Unless it defeats C'thulhu.

Sea life outnumbers us non-aquatic beings by about a factor of ten. That's why nobody ever messes with Aquaman (and those that do very quickly learn how large a mistake that is).

That's brain damage, actually. His powers, as intended, are usable at will. Not sure why the countless characters with healing powers have not fixed it (or heck, you'd think Mr. Sinister would do it, seeing as how he was more than happy to excise a bit of Gambit's brain temporarily so that his powers wouldn't go out of control).

Not counting his super strength, heightened agility, and the fact that he has occasionally utilized mankind's descent from sea life to short out people's brains temporarily, plus he's got access to an entire army and highly advanced technology as King of Atlantis. Oh, and when the guy controls 70% of the Earth's surface, you don't get to criticize. Refer to the time he faced what was more or less C'thulhu and won. How? He summoned every creature in the entire ocean on it.

In other news, Ma-Ti once elbowed Hitler, and it is widely acknowledged that the only thing keeping him from using his ring for outright mind control is his own human decency.

I don't remember him being superstrong and if he's not in the ocean, or near a public aquarium, he was pretty useless.

This one has a bit of personality over that white bread version and he's useful landlocked as well. Yes, he's not the long hair, one hand, brooding Aquaman of JLU but both of these characterizations are an improvement.
    Also, ask yourself this:

Which of the two versions of Aquaman (between the Brave and the Bold and DCAU) made possibly the worst game of the last console cycle after Drake of the 99 Dragons?
  7. But this Aquaman is awesome. He tamed a white blood cell!

Speaking of which, that episode with him and The Atom was one of my personal favorites.

Mr. Fantastic isn't literally made of rubber, though.

Plastic Man is, and he's damn creative (but he no longer has any internal structure to speak of, so no Gear Second).

    What?

Last I checked, James Cameron isn't an insane fanperson for his own works.

Not liking them is an objectively incorrect viewpoint, in theory (because there is no evidence of the existence of people that dislike JAM Project).

    Question

It's a joke. Hickman loves plugging his work. The secret is to plug it in a charming and humorous fashion, possibly even ironically criticizing your own books. If the threads that held them still existed, I'd link some of The Pantsless Wonder's posts on the subject as examples.

tl;dr version: Yeah, plug away, just don't go all infomercial on us.

Because they are closer in graphical capability, meanwhile cross platform with Wii and other next gen systems... not so much.
But the Wii version looks a lot better than the PS2 version.

What is that even supposed to mean? M:UA was on all three next-gen consoles, with the Wii version having noticeably less-good graphics. Pretty cut and dry.

He doesn't. He's using ideas that were revealed for their utter stupidity back in 2008 to make a line of thought that's like a pod person made from a good point. Long story short, $200 is not an impulse buy, the best games on the Wii barely use the Wiimote, and games like Mario are why I try to remind people that the "E" stands for "Everyone" for a damn good reason. Just because it's appropriate for young people doesn't suddenly mean that they're the only ones who are supposed to enjoy it. And SMB3 nostalgia has been running strong since the SNES was released (and has been measurable as such since the internet hit its stride).

Don't argue with Solos. It's what he wants. Just politely disregard everything he says and then make fun of him on Paragon Unleashed where he can't see it.

A good example would be Legacy of Kain being released onto the PS and having it's sequel released directly to the PS as well.

As far as Nintendo, the gamecube should be taken as example that Nintendo had no idea how to handle a CD-based console from the get go. Sony however had been in the CD business for quite some time before they developed the Playstation and the money to mass-produce it, two things Sega lacked. You all seem to forget that Sony was a powerhouse company before even entering the game business.
    1. Once you get past all the comical vitriol, the Gamecube was actually a very good console. Again, it was very easy to develop games for, it had better graphics than the PS2 (compare the two version of Resident Evil 4 for a good example), the only thing it lacked was online play, which, at the time of the Gamecube's release, was not the gigantic phenimenon it is today. The only real problem the Gamecube had was the fact that Nintendo's reputation was in the toilet.

    2. Had Nintendo gone with its original plans and made a CD-based console, it would have curbstomped Sony, because they'd have gotten not only Final Fantasy, but most likely Metal Gear Solid and the various Capcom games (if you'll remember, all of those companies aleady had a strong relationship with Nintendo, the only thing that Sony had that drew away all the third-party companies was their CD format).

In an alternate universe, right now, people are remembering Nintendo's first CD-based console, released after the SNES, and Sony is only known for making shoddy home electronics.

But Sony was the only guys who weren't utterly incompetent/run by a mean old man at that time. So, in order to change SE's decision, you'd have to also alter the poor judgement of one of the other two companies.
