yes I got 15 or so when the Ixp was borked. Before conversion of Astral - last night I checked this same toon after a lambda AND a BAF - had not done anything with the first 4 threads and had a total of 8 threads for 3 runs

I took one of my toons that had never run an Incarnate trial out on Wednesday night to see what kind of Incarnate xp she would get.

After one run of Lambda she had 44% unlocked. But, I found a trade off. I am used to receiving approximately 15-20 threads during a Lambda. To my surprize, my toon had just FOUR yup that is 4 threads after a sucessfull completion.

Is this working as intended or did the thread drop rate take a nose dive?

Just a note from what I have gained as a *ranged* player targeting through my team mate's tank or brute, he doesn't always keep a target if he is taunting and I kept wondering why my attacks wouldn't go off. Then another time, I had clicked my fire ball and was at max range of an Elite Boss that my friend had clicked but he had not yet moved into range to attack so I ended up with all that agro and after the fight was over, I was picking my poor squishy body up with a wakie... friend says..have a nice nap?

Some of the best ever teams I've been on have been a combination of fire/rad corrupters or controllers - massive debuffs available - you have a lot of alt slots available roll a few of these and level them up. enjoy

For a new player, using Architect Missions don't do a good job of teaching you how to play your toon as you have found out.

Others will be along to give you in depth answers as to the benefits of each type. But newcomers should find a scrapper or brute to be easiest to learn and each has wonderful capabilities. The dominator and controllers are a finese type of character that offer wonderful buffs and debuffs depending on the power choices made. Each of the archtypes have their strengths and weaknesses. As this game doesn't restrict you to just one type, make a few different ones, then go out and do the missions that your contacts give you. Take your time and learn to play. Most archtypes start to come into their own once you hit level 20 and even more above level 30.

Enjoy the ride and read the story lines. They are great fun also.

Is it me, or is something buggy with the safeguard mission maps. The badge I'm looking for in the safeguard is ALWAYS outside of the area I can access. I have the latest download.

I just purchased a new computer AMD 6core 64 bit Win 7 computer. When I downloaded the game, the updater icon on my desktop looks like a blank piece of paper with the shortcut arrow on it.

Where do I find the updater coh icon to slap onto that shortcut?
