Rage + Knockout Blow alone isn't enough to one-shot a Stalker - the Tanker was very likely buffed up the wazoo and you were probably also debuffed. -
Has anyone else noticed the turrets now doing copious amounts of DoT fire damage? I helped attack a villain pillbox last night and noticed my health dropping quite rapidly. I checked the combat log and noticed the turrets were doing ticks of 25-30 points of fire damage. Oh yeah, I was on my Tanker.

Agreed, and I personally feel PvPGauntlet is a step in the right direction and makes Tankers more valued in PvP scenarios. -

Can't really give you numbers, since every power is different. It's calculated in the same manner that Endurance cost is, however, so the more end a power costs, the greater its chance for Taunt.
Chances range from 6.7% to 43.5% per attack (well, aside from 1 bug I just found, which gives a 100% chance to one power. Grr!)

So in theory, if you want to taunt a villain (without using Taunt itself), use your heaviest attack first (e.g. Foot Stomp, Knockout Blow, Total Focus, Seismic Smash, etc.). Thanks _Castle_, that's the sort of info I was looking for. -

I7 changes:
1) Working on Oil Slick. I think I have the 'oil doesn't always light' bug fixed (hard to tell - it never failed on my box, but it was replicatable here.) I refered the 'wrong team in PvP zones' issue to programming.
2) Poison Gas Arrow -- this should work the same for all AT's now.
3) Archery: Fistful of Arrows, Rain of Arrows and Ranged Shot animations shortened.

My guess is that PvP-Gauntlet will be a single-target Taunt with a minor chance of taunting the attacked target. Conceptually, the more punches a Tanker lands on an opponent, the more likely the target will be taunted.
That's just my hunch. -

Brutes don't get Gauntlet, thus this is unlikely to affect Brutes.
I can also recall just after release a PvP bug that allowed a Brute's own version of "punchvoke" to work in PvP , this error was corrected; a Brute's punches was taunting an opponent. -

Can anybody say, "Love for Tankers!"?De-toggling is being "reined in" and now a use for Gauntlet in PvP.
But I wonder, how will Gauntlet be used in PvP? Will it affect targets in the same way that it does in PvE or will it be watered-down somewhat? There's also the possibility of giving Gauntlet a completely new functionality in PvP. Hmmmm.

Tell that to any Blaster that has to contend with a Stone Tanker in Granite. Not going to happen.

Well you're quite right; a single Blaster shouldn't be able to beat a Stone Tanker using Granite, an Invulnerability Tanker using Unstoppable (until it drops), an Ice tanker using Hibernate or a Fire Tanker... well, a Fire Tanker's 32 power is a rez power. I'm not saying it's impossible, just very unlikely.
If you're fighting in the Arena, take level 32 powers out of the equation - lower the "weight" at which the duel will be set, you'll get different results this way. Or you could even take your fights to Bloody Bay or Siren's Call, both places where Granite/Unstoppable/Hibernate aren't an issue. -

Thanks for updating us on this, Castle, but would we be able to get a bit more information on this? To what extent is toggle-dropping being "reigned in"? Can you give us a small example? e.g. How would a Tanker now stand up to an */Energy Manipulation Blaster? -

We just need a bit more speed, that's all. As far as Flight goes, not a dramatic buff to speed, but enough to make it just as attractive as a travel power when compared to Super Speed or Super Jump. -
I'm going to add Hand of Toku(I've forgotten the rest of your name), a ninja Mastermind, and Neo Psyco(spelling?), a Mind/Energy Dominater, to my list. Both villains put up a good fight in Siren's Call today and so I just wanted to thank them for their sportsmanship.
