now I have a few comments.
this sadly, was needed. as much as everyone hates it: unless you want better AI, and in that case, a LOT MORE RAM in your PC, well..... (go play a game without such intense visuals that has excellent AI, and see how much ram it takes up)
we loved it since release. we ABUSED it since release.
up front, I'm going to state: I honestly bet, at least half of all fire tankers herded, and delibrately slotted eventually for that. guides and missions were used around it. millions of levels earned by is faster than anything else ever, period.
if you want a bandage, gotta take a bullet first
and by the way, the guy who mentioned trip mines.. I honestly f***ing cracked up. I never saw such a retarded comment. 80% of all herding, is done via burn. this is from doing it with people since release and watching. it was always burn. burn burn burn.
hey, ever thought of your secondary being your offense like EVERY OTHER TANKER. fiery aura and the other added features are nice, but it was always supposed to be minor, but nice damage.
and before I kill someone, stop using the "you should have balanced it at release! argument". they tried. and then people began lopsiding uber builds. burn tanks 1-40 in 3 days from release. there were level 40's, the DAY the game hit shelves. because of burn back then. I took a burn tank solo, to level 30, in 2 weeks without teaming. that, is beyond sick. over 2 levels a day, at 30!
it's hard, painful, but needed,. give them time to realize, and actually work out a change. even if burn is dead... well, abuse something too well, and it turns around and hurt ya.

even I was fooled, this was a good one.
score one for the post count!
~I'm kinda going for a Blaptroltankfender....

I say: for PvE, we need:
1: a bit of a boost in toughness. being a glass cannon gets ANNOYING sometimes, and I hate having to wish for level 47's force of nature power pool to enjoy 2 minites of god mode every now and then.
this could be done by something of a nice toggle or two in our secondaries. I'd GLADLY give up energy punch and stun for a smash/lethal minor def toggle/res toggle, and stun for one that covers energy, fire, and neg. even when capped 30% res all, makes you live SO MUCH longer.
2: we need the damage cap to be at least 500%, and get a little bit of an up in damage, leaving defenders alone enough as it is.
3: we need better ranges for some of our primaries. short circuit is nice, but I have to be in melee for that.
PvP changes:
1: 30% unresistable damage needs to be calculated right. since all res caps at 90%, rollover can't negate that. meaning we will ALWAYS DO at LEAST 40% of our damage in our primaries and secondaries, as well as pool powers.
2: have us have a floored accuracy minimum of
10%
yes, I said it. -
I have 3 in instant healing, and 2 in my headsplitter.
Blasters are going to HATE me. =)

now, I wonder.
Instant healing treats healers like res %s, but do hamidon enhs Gogli exposure give a 50%/30% to it? or is it 50/50, and potentially when 6 slotting making it better than I2 instant healing?dun forget integration, up to 4000% regen?

as much as i hate to say this, but it's sheerly my opinion.
Herders, that used wolves at first were doing something for MUCH greater XP than anything else could be done in a game. it's nothing better than in neverwinter nights, DebugMode 1, dm_giveXP cheat. anything which greatly skews the balance and flow of a game, no matter HOW FUN OR FITTING FOR PLAYSTYLES is nonetheless a problem, and that's what it was. it made things too easy, but those that kept doing it over and over, did indeed screw it over for casual players.
simply put: no matter how many people support it, or used it, it was never a valid way to play. and because of that, I don't blink when with one mere update suddenlly our game was changed for quite a few. I have a 50, got him there the honest way. plan to do that with every last character as well.
if I wanted to gain levels, I'd just streethunt from levels 1-50. that's how you do it, not stand away while 3 people do all the work. it never was a valid way to play, and i shed no tears while it tis erased.

actually my joke of PDR can work. join in a team of 2 lowbies, RSK to the lower level one, have him stand with you, and use your mighty 1 mil + inf as power for payment for someone to kill for you all. even on a team of 3, it's still fast, especially if you are going to be afk. if you have 2 accounts, this can be done remarkably easy.

There is ONE good thing about exemplering.....
the joys of being level 34, and begging level 8's in perez to let you AFK at the gate to work off debt.... =)
Power undebbtors!

the problem was teleport could do it anyway legally. there are still ways to get outside the map, just very hard now, I've tested it post issue 2. just uber hard. now, teleporting outside geometry and sniping enemies usually turned up an invalid target, and didn't work. they'd also run 10 seconds after they couldn't target or get to you, and, some would run through geometry bugs, and fall off the map utterlly out of sight. the fix was not really needed, and I liked hopping from stores and whatnot, it was fun and different. if anything teleport was less troublesome then because of awkward targetting problems now.

I just finished up this arc, and i must say I was impressed! it captures a theme so well, right down to the twist of a sovenior, a letter from Requiem thanking me from stopping ubelmann from altering the past, and allowing his hopes of taking over himself. it was just so far the coolest sovenior I've gotted so far, and It reminded me of a justice league 3 part episode which I thought was just as awsome (A savage Time)
Nice job, I hope there are lots more out there coming up! but I just finished all my 25-29 stories and it's just before dinging to 27! ack! ah well, plenty of missions and contacts left.

my broadsword/regen scrapper soloed an equal level vahzilok. he was 17 (21), I was 17. took me a while, but I found a nifty trick. I had superspeed, and a contact right outside. I'd grab 4 enrages, 4 lucks, 2 CaBs, and pound, retreat. my haste and dull pain recharged fast, and so I taunted over his fallen body.
He might have nice guns, but nothing is a match for my lazer beam swords, which are sword powered.
