  1. I made a quick fix example to the Bio Armor. I am very busy right now actually so I could only do one point of view and did a very poor job, but this, or something similar would be worlds better.

    After

What we should all get over is stop calling it 'furries' unless someone is ERPing that way in the game.

Animal pieces is animal pieces. If anyone calls it 'furries' again, I'm going to start reporting them as trolls to the Mods regardless of whether they're pro- or anti- 'furry.' It's a loaded and inflammatory term and shouldn't be used any more. Even in jest. And yes, we all know who I'm referring to. But from this moment on, I'll be making a stink about it with the Mods if it's used again referring to an animalistic costume pieces.
The phrase "furry" is so brod about anyone could fall into it. It is nothing more than a derogatory term at this point.

Okay, I change my mind. Now I have to buy the pack the day it releases *just* for that.

*crosses fingers it's after friday...better yet, ON friday*
I just hope the fix the head/neck part of the Bio-armor before it releases.

I've never understood why Furries=Evil/Sin in many peoples eyes. If it's what they want to practice, why impede them. Didn't the world unite against a group that was trying to destroy people for what they practiced and believed? :P I recall reading that somewhere :P

However, a horse is something I doubt we could do, the closest to a horse person I ever saw was the Bothans in SWG :P

I think Furries got most of their hate due to a small sub-sect that liked furry porn which is really close to Bestiality. Also the outfits the walk around in are a bit creepy (but harmless) if they are into that.

I personally don't have a problem with them and think they should be left alone.

Wolf tails to be added to the Mutant Booster. On-topic to this thread, Friday's build will include the missing pieces of the Mutant Booster (i.e. the swords) as well as woofietail.

Thanks for the link! The wolf tail looks really good.
Maybe this is a sign of things to come!

Same here! Were Wolves and Wolf Men were never really my thing. Doesn't mean I wasn't looking forward to animal parts, maybe spark some nifty ideas.

    Lets take a look

The gloves look better than the neck.

The boots don't look as bad as the armor neck.

Both the gloves and the boots seams could look better, but other gloves and boots tend to look about just as bad, so it seems to be a restriction with theeir system they have.

The connection between the gloves and the body here are a little off as well, worse than the gloves and boots of the armor, but not quite as bad as the neck.

Ah you can see some disconnect at the seam of the neck here. The veins clearly were meant to continue, but we didn't spend extra money just for this set, so the bio-armor set should be fixed before release!

You could have said that in the first place, but you didn't.

Making people run around to make your self feel superior and seem right isn't all the impressive, especially if I can spot this mind game (yeah I honestly don't think I can spot many, but meh, at least I know that).

I am willing to accept that it MIGHT have been unintentional, but it defiantly didn't seem that way to me.

These sets are specifically problematic with this all around the neck and it really cramps the quality of them in general.

The organic armor set would really look good if you made a claw weapon for them.

Subjective Feedback: I was really hoping for the animal pack with this set. While it might look slightly mutant like, it seems more like something else. It is not iconic by any means ether and is a bit of a disappointment.

I would like the glow effect colored separately from the other part of the skin, we have two colors we should use them. I would also like the glow effects to be able to be placed on other things as well. Monsterous hands would have worked really well with this, I think you have a lot of things that will be added for later though.

Second look, this looks alright... but not perfect, however.

This is not acceptable from a professional. There isn't even an attempt to make the head flow with the rest of the body. This should be fixed before release! See the back? The head looks like it should continue onto the back with the plating, this is eve more clear with the side view. However it just cuts off. I could understand if you made it tapper off at the scheme, but to not have it tapper off and not even connect with the matching body, that is some poor work if it is the final. If this is not fixed for the final I will seriously consider not buying this pack.

Interesting idea, didn't think of that. Good idea! Having a variety of tattooed base skins would be cool.
  15. It appears that someone hacked the costume creator and applied the male skin texture to the female body, giving her a different muscle tone. If this is real, this means the system with some tweaking, might be able to handle different base skins.

It is somewhere in the mess of the All Things Art thread. Wish I got the direct page, not sure if I can find it again right now.

The Science booster recieved no temp power because it's 'temp power' was the ability to access the cosmetic surgeon and change gender, the mutant booster HAS a temp power so there's nothing additional.
Yes that is what we are getting in this mutant pack. I am not arguing that, or dream that we will get a different set of costume pieces, emotes, additional power etc. However in the science pack you have something else in addition to that, the alternate body type option. So I just hope that there is some additional x factor like that might be included, however off or unlikely that might be. You are probably right though

Quotes/Links please? It seems rather in-demand if you look at the theme reaction and the booster pack demands. So if it is not impossible with the current system with base system modification, then they are performing a very bad business move which might eventually make people leave the game even for what ever reason, when a system comes a long that is more versatile or have more open minded devs.

Having thought about it, I think I know the real reason this is bugging me so much. The Dev comment made myself and others think animal parts were coming in the Mutant pack (and yes, I do realize that was likely not intended when the comment was made). When others have asked about better animal parts, I and others have told those asking about the comment and that we just needed to wait for the mutant booster. Now that it's here and it's not what we've been saying it would be, I guess I kind of feel like I've been lying to people. Simple mistake or not, I still feel bad.

*shrug* Like I've said before, I can find a use for a couple of the bio armor parts. The wings and shoulders will go well on a toxic dragon character I have. I guess I'll buy it, and just keep supporting the animal parts idea whenever and whereever I can.

    Thanks for the feedback, guys.
I will buy it too. While not iconic for mutants at all, it still looks great. I just hope we get the animal pack soon.

Since it was the toxic ooze that changed them, and they were then able to train really hard to be ninjas, they are a Science/Natural hybrid. They weren't born that way, so nope, no mutants here.
Yes, but in the end it is what we think of. And in a game about icons from the stuff we can do already, hybrid animal mutants are iconic and what is left.

Actually, middle 3rd from the left, behind Storm, that sort of looks like an exo-skeleton demon.

I've made it pretty well know I'm in the same boat as Sam and that the 'Mutant' booster pack is a big enough of a let down that I'm just not going to buy it, you're idea for a Monstrous booster pack is definitely something I can get behind though but as other have mentioned, go all out for it!

Monstrous doesn't just mean animals, it's anything well..monstrous...which gives it a wide range.

Make it the biggest baddest of the booster packs yet, screw 'one or two themed costumes' make it 'a massive bucket of parts' type booster which can be mixed and matched to create wonderfully horrible monsters.
You obviously didn't understand what I am trying to do here or what I said. I am trying to give us the option to get the mutant pack we should have gotten and expected.

And I said the science pack had that option, I was thinking maybe there was some other option they might give us yet in the tester server and that isn't a costume piece, emote, temporary power.
