I'm glad you asked, I've been noticing it do it every time I log out lately. I've been canceling it myself, I guess I'll let it go next time, lol.

I have a SS/DA Brute at level 34 and I have fun playing him. I admit that although I've been playing off and on for a year now, I'm still a noob. I created the guy in 2006 on a trial and when I subbed last year I decided I'd try and level him. I can usually run all of my missions without any problem, although I do die every once in a while. I say give it a try, it can be fun. I'd have to say, of all of power sets and archetypes I've tried, this guy is the most survivable.

So I've been playing off and on for about a year now. I joined a pretty active villain group when I first started but over the months the activity has really dropped. I've been playing a lot more lately and I hardly ever see anyone from my VG or coalition on. So I guess I'm just looking to see what groups are out there and are active. I'm an older player, mid-30's but I'm not against playing with a younger crowd. My main toon is Bluman a level 34 SS/DA Brute. I'd like to join a group that actually uses a chat system, either Teamspeak or Ventrillo, but it's not a requirement. Let me know who's active, I did look through the tread at the top of the page but it hasn't been updated for a few months and have checked a few of them out already.

Why couldn't this be a Villain group? Oh well.

I also find that I can't really group up with people on my dialup connections, I lag out and drop which kind of sucks in a MMORPG.

It connects and then just stops at Checking Updater. No progress bar, not graphics loading above it. Nothing. I'll try the firewall when i get home tonight.

I tried that and still no go.

Any suggestions?

Currently on dialup and have been since I started paying for this a few months ago. Luckily for me, I get DSL in a week. However, my game won't get past checking updater.

Yeah I did some reading on their forums and that is where I saw that it is normal. It did the same thing when I play Star Wars Galaxies, but never popped up anything on me. I'll just go ahead and allow it, maybe some of my lag will go away, doubt it.

So I run Kaspersky Anti Virus on my home PC. While playing COH/COV it gives me warning saying that COH/COV is behaving similar to a keylogger. Is this normal? I've read somewhere that it could be normal but I figured I'd ask here.

So back in August I started playing again from an old free trial. I purchased the Architects Edition of the game. Does that come with all of the costumes etc from the Good vs Evil edition of the game?

I've got a Sonic/Ice blaster I play on occasion. Which power is better Flight or Jumping? Jumping gives some good defensive bonuses.

I'm trying to do the Ouroboros mission that has you break out of prison again. I get outside and every time I end up loosing connection to the map server. Anyone have any suggestions other then don't do the mission lol? I'm able to get on other heroes/villains and do missions and don't have a problem.

As I said before, it happens even when I've just logged in. As far as I know I'm not involved in any story lines etc. Not sure what TF or Ouro are though.

Because it's your money to play as you choose. AE farm and miss low level content in order to get to 50 or grind and do it the old fashion way. It's just a matter of choice really.

So while doing some missions yesterday, I accidentally went over the level cap for one of my contacts. Is there any way to get those missions?

Anyone have any clue as to why I would get this message? Everytime I log in I get the message saying I have a free respec type /respec to start. OK, don't start by saying delete and redo with something like SS/WP, it's not going to happen. I started this guy a few years ago on a 14 day trial and have just started playing the game full time a couple of weeks ago. I'm up to level 15, almost 16 and was looking for some advice as to what powers I should take in the future. Right now I've got Punch, Hay maker, Jab and Knockout Blow from SS. I've got Dark Embrace and Death Shroud from DA. I also have Hover, Air Superiority and Fly from Flight. I think I'll eventually respec Hover out of there but I grabbed it when it first came up. I'd like to farm with this guy but I also like joining teams and doing missions so I would like to be versitile.
