For the uninitiated (few though there may be), AEntertainment Tonight is an AE review show that airs on KJSR.net Thursdays at seven PM. In it Rastafariman, myself and WRider (when he's able to come back) review several arcs and give out what we thought of them and how we rated them.

We had a few technical difficulties a couple of weeks ago that, when coupled with the holiday, led us to being off the air for a bit longer than desired. As such, the submission queue has dried up. Without listener submissions, we don't have a show.

If you have a published AE arc, we'd love to here from you! The submission form can be found here. We have something big on the horizon, but we need your help to get there. I'm looking forward to seeing what you all have out there.

The queue is still empty. We can't do a show without anything to review.

A) I do that anyway, if they go far afield

B) The last several meetings have been just a bit less than an hour long even with the wanderings

C) My Task Forces NEVER start on time. No one is ever at the contact at the start time.

We still need one more person to start the Task Force.

Um, yeah meant the 5th. Was looking at the calandar wrong.

Since we're on the subject, how many webcomics does everyone follow. I believe I'm hovering around 40 myself.

Yeah, I figure this one might not have the popularity of runs I've made in the past, but the other idea I have would be even MORE nitchy.

Yeah yeah, usually when I start one of these things it's got a clever title vaguely referencing the theme. However, after two weeks of wracking my brain, I got nothing.

At any rate, this Saturday (December 7) I'm going to put together a Lady Grey Task Force. I'd like to begin gathering at 8PM Eastern. The theme for this run will be 'Favorite Web Comic Character'. Who's interested?

We are back on track! We have the December 3rd show recorded, and are set to air. A reminder, thsi show will include reviews on:

Nikalarus - From the Nadir to the Apex
Venture - Splintered Shields
Killbot 5000 - A spanner in the Works


And with the arc's picked out for our next show, the queue is empty once again, so now's the time to start sending in more arcs for review.

For those talking about Tin Man's rebuilding, I figured that there would be many folks making characters based off the design. Y'know, the "offspring" he mentions in the letter.

Also, anyone else laugh at the Prestidigitator's complaint?

The latest reponse puzzles me. You know those warnings that go on about 'NCSoft will never ask for Account name/Password'? Well, the Support person that just responded pretty much asked for everything BUT that.

Someone has to say "You get coal and a butt whuppin'!"

Well, I got an E-mail after I was done playing for the day stating that my Vet rewards have be recalculated, and I will receive the 57 month reward...on Nov 27.

Of note is the most recent/next Vet Reward. When I first saw that I thought that since I had bought a Hero Gear at Hero Con, then the free month just didn't count. However, now I'm told that even if there is one (honestly didn't pay that much attention) then it should still count. Heck, now that I think about it, I didn't have the chance to apply the code until after I got back from the Con, so I should have had the reward already.

So, my question is: What could have caused the delay, and is there any way to get them back on track?

Heh, and thus the power creep. If Dis goes for the upgrade at 6, s/he may as well hit seven for the level ten Enhancements.

I'd suggest a Rad/anything Defender, so that you can have the two debuffs which are auto-hit and actually scale well to the higher levels.

Anyone have an idea if this is going to happen next week, or is it going to get cancelled because folks may be travelling for Thanksgiving?

Further update: Unfortunately for bad timing, there will be NO live shows on the 26th, as it is Thanksgiving in the United States. Thus, the next show will air on Dec 3. Apologies again, and thank you for your patience.

Well it looks like the worse of the technical difficulties has dried up, but so has the submissions list. We're down to two in the queue, so send those arcs in!
