    OK, I double checked Citadel's wiki page with the Phalanx (here) at this to make sure. It looks like his powers are all Energy Melee, Energy Blast and Energy Aura, so he's one of those odd ATs that only NPCs can claim.

    EDIT: Of course, they could have revamped him when they completely changed Siege up, so whatever.

    As far as the arcs themselves, I like that the Villain-side arc has a much wider appeal for the alignments. It doesn't matter if your Vigilante, Villain or Rogue, It's not hard to find a reason to work with these new people.
  3. Back when the Shard was new there were several reasons to run the content.
    • At the time, they were the only high end Task Forces {EDIT: except for the third respec trial} (no longer true)
    • Exemplaring for lower level TFs required someone in range for each high level character, and if either Exemplar or Aspirant lost connection, the Exemplar was booted from the TF (neither is true now)
    • The single player missions were the only repeatable content at the time (no longer true)
    • Among the single player content was a mission to unlock Mole Point Charlie connecting FBZ and the Cascades (no longer necessary with the quick gates to all Shard zones)
    • Among the repeatable content is a mission that was called the Kora Fruit farm. The mission was to enter a cave and click a number of collectable objectives, each one giving a Tier 3 Inspiration (the mission rewards were reduced to Tier two inspirations, other methods of Tier 3 and eventually Tier 4 inspirations were eventually introduced)

  5. I watched it with my mom while I was visiting her for her birthday. She said multiple times that she would have to get the soundtrack, and seemed to be OK with it. I, on the other hand, was surprised it was only 2 hours long. It felt like six.

    Wait, that mission that I've been looking for these many years...was a patrol?

    Way back when I first played, a friend and I had worked out first characters up into the low forties, and were bumming around PI. We stopped and talked for a second, when someone in the high end of the forties hopped out of a nearby sewer entrance, and rand off. My friend told me we should move, because there's probably an ambush coming for them, and she was right, it was a pack of what I would later learn are Marauder's demolition crew.

    I never saw that mission, or that ambush, when I got any of my characters to 50.

  24. Damn. I was going to try to see what happened when I ran a Villain who (I thought) hadn't touched any of the SSA's through #7, and the first question the Press conference asked was about #6. And yes, Manticore. However, I did find the fact that the reporters didn't ask me anything about 1-5 interesting.

    EDIT: OK, had another Villain, this one I *specifically* had kept out of the SSA's so he can run them 1-7 all at once. The Press ONLY asked about chapter seven for him. Still fought Manticore.
