    O Gill!

LOL! Today is the last day we'll be browsing and saving avatars. And then we'll announce the winner first thing tomorrow morning.

    Issue #15

Hey Brandon whats the deal with that anyway?

    Issue #15

Man I wrote this long post about how I thought the art in issue #15 left much to be desired and that the fan art greatly out shined the actual comic book art...but I lost it. That basically sums it up tho. Did anyone else think the same thing or am I tripping?

    Bummed!

Thor that blows man. If there is anything I can do to help just let me know.
  5. I completely understand how you feel squirrel. Discomfort and ugliness in any forums can quickly drive people away. And not just from other posters, from those who run the forums as well. That whole displaced feeling I've been getting here lately is one of the many reasons why I decided to start my own forums. I post to share art and just have fun. Not to get caught up in arguments or other issues. It's good to know that there are others who feel that way.

And thanks again DJ on that whole Victory thing. That was pretty ridiculous lol.
  6. Squirrel then sing along.

*Har! Har! Har! Its an artists life for me!*

    Hello all -

This was a really cool piece to work on with Torell. What I enjoy most about art is Storytelling, and he has a heck of a cool story behind this. Torell was also a great Art Director -- he really knew what he wanted and I think we ended up with a cool looking piece with an interesting backstory.

AS always, I greatly appreciate the comments and the feedback -- ALL feedback -- Dante, I hate to say it, but you're absolutely correct about the skinny legs on Lord Samarrov. Dang it!

Anyone ever work on a piece for hours and not see an obvious flaw until someone else notices it?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Very nice work Brandon! I think you did an excellent job telling the story in a static image. *Pulls out paddle* As far as looking at a piece for hours and missing a few flaws we are in the same boat my friend. * Har! Har! Har! Its an artists life for me! * Looks over at DJ, Graver, and Sayterra hey yall better be singing too...lol!

    My First Tablet

I'll assume its a Wacom as I kinda skimmed the post. You can adjust the screen mapping on your tablet to work just in a specified area. When you set it up it takes a snapshot of your current screen so you can map it to your canvas just right. It will also take a bit of time to get comfy with it, but its well worth it

Of course not. It's just nice to have your own place to call home... no one else in control of your posts.
  10. Hey everyone we just updated our site to include our very own Forums! I'll be posting my Work In Progress stages there and in the future I plan on possibly offering some workshops on how I do what I do.
  11. Very nice piece. All I can say is that day is permanently branded on my brain. I recall almost every aspect of it physically as well as emotionally.

    Hmmm..........

Well guys, I just received an email from Arctic Sun and it looks like they won't be adding my piece to the gallery after all. They don't like the fact that my logo is displayed on it and I refuse to remove it because just like my signature it represents myself personally and my art. I don't understand or agree with their hypocritical position at all as it is a FREE gift that I spent a LOT of time on from both myself and W00T Radio (which is why their logo is on the piece as well, it was their event). But hey, if that's their attitude about artists who take the time to support one of their own then they can shove it lol.
  13. Very nice! Megumiko did you dink that?
  14. Thank us? No, thank YOU! It really is very nice to be able to share something as personal as artwork in such a supportive community.
  15. ^^ Yes it is TA, the anime sample anyway.
  16. Here is something I did today for a very good client of mine...

    Halley's Comet Manga
  17. Manga/anime is one of the styles that I'll be offering on our upcoming expansion site MMOART Toons. I'm pretty beat right now as I've been drawing all day lol, but I can post a sample for you tomorrow.

    Hmmm..........

Actually I talked to Arctic Sun and CuppaJo in-game during the Cuppathon and they have both received the tribute art I did for her. I thought that he was going to update the gallery after the holiday was over, but I guess he just needs a friendly reminder.

The fact that the mighty Gill Bates graced me with his presence, if only for a moment, makes me get all fuzzy inside.

Fuzzy... like that scary laundry bear.

LoL You weren’t in a car accident or suffered a substantial blow to the head in the last few days by any chance?...lol
  20. I hope this helps you out a bit End of Man

    Keep your head up V
  21. All right, NOW I'm done lol. Here's the udpated version: CuppaJo's Coffee.
  22. Thanks guys! Truth is I'm going to revisit this piece to touch up her hands, teeth, have the cape actually come over her shoulders, and something about the neck dosent sit right with me. I had not slept for 24 hours when I started it and I worked right through trying to get it done before the Cuppathon was over. Which was great fun btw. So when I can get back to it ill post the updates
  23. I'm almost done with mine. It should be complete in a few more hours, just in time for the big party tonight! Here's a quick sneaky peeky so far:
