I was coming in to crow about this part:
Quote:But you've seen it. I can't imagine how far over the moon I'd be if Someone Important complimented my work. But you, you certainly deserve the recognition.OH HELL YEAH, BABY! Just posted on the YouTube comments:

Fantastic job! We're totally honored!
XOXO
Felicia
EDIT: *deafening shout* And she even Favorited it!
Like everyone else, I enjoyed all of the little touches you put into this (and all of your videos). From something of a technical standpoint, I'm a bit wowed at the Choose an Archetype frame. You did some fantastic work on that piece that was on screen for just a few seconds. I can't say thanks for sharing quite enough. -
Awesome additions! I knew I should have recognized the name Georgia Reynolds but kept drawing a complete blank on her code name! Some excellent new names that completely slip by me as many times as I've seen their names.
-
25 good guesses the first run through. Can't believe some of the oversights I had.
After a quick googling I did a little better with a 45.
I even halped and got one name added. -
Quote:I have it on good authority that it's Steve Irwin. No, not that Steve Irwin. And she never did actually get to learn the Envoy's true name (I'm still guessing it is Willard).
As frustrating as the fight, fall, rez, return, lather, rinse, repeat was when fighting him, I can only agree. Leave him as is. -
Nosferatu is a tough mother father for anyone. Even, or maybe especially, for either my DM/Regen or my DM/WP scrapper. The only time I've gotten him solo, which I consider more parts luck than my skill, was with an MA/Inv Scrapper.
The best suggestion was to load up on Luck and Heal and then maybe pray. -
I've noticed the buggy counter as well. The best solution is to keep a text file handy for editing. Liberal use of ctrl+a and delete to clear the space is a must. Pasting info into the space is something of a pain as well as carriage returns to don't follow from the editor of choice. It takes some frustrating clicking and arrowing to get the cursor to go where you want it to if there are carriage returns.
While all of my characters have some kind of story to their existence not all of them have a bio to speak of. That's my failing, I have an disconnect with giving shape and form to the idea(s) in my head. -
A couple of nitpicks:
The defensible object's description in the final mission suggests that the crate should be destroyed as quickly as possible. (/info on the object when it's selected) I can hope that a mission specific description could be used.
I ran the mission twice. Once on a level 50 who had already accomplished it and again on a level 24 who had not done it before. Both times an enhancement reward was given upon speaking with the City Rep for the mission complete. Both times the reward was a -2 Training Enhancement. (I'm totally going to keep the level 48 Endurance Reduction TO.) -
Quote:Nemesis killed his brother, Tobias. I don't recall where this information originates but I was able to find it hereQuote:
X. Man kills brother; sets into motion, a hundred lifetimes of commotion, Meticulous manipulation, attempts to take this very nation, Within mirrors glow he finds a pawn, his trick forces them to take us on, We shall fall for his games no longer, that which challenges makes us stronger.
Quote:Jealous of his new talent, his older brother Tobias challenged him to make something practical. A Weapon that the family could actually make money off of. Gerhardt wouldn't do it as he invented only for the sheer joy of it. They fueded for 5 years until, Gerhardt, fed up with Tobias' taunts and criticisms, created his 1st humanoid automaton which promptly killed Tobias. -
Quote:One of the players pictured has inquired via official channels. I'm basing my knowledge off of his connections. As far as I know it is not listed or mentioned anywhere in game or at Paragon Wiki.Awesome! But is this canon? I mean, it's obviously a nice gesture on the part of players, but how do we know what ethnicity everyone was?
Quote:Um, Vambrace was a pair of white guys. The primary brain behind the suit was a nerd in a wheel chair. His friend/best friend was a jock, and he wore the suit (as of the time of the "Web of Arachnos" novels which was shortly after (few years tops) after Recluse and States got their power.)
Quote:Can't remember if they mentioned Elementar/(Elemenstar?)'s ethnic background, but his profession was a weatherman. -
Wavelength is too, I didn't stop to think how cool that was until now.
From right to left: Elementar, Vambrace, M 1, Dr. Mnemonic, Maiden Justice and Captain Indomitible as portrayed by successors to the names. -
-
For no reason I hear Mr. Bocor sounding like Fat Tony. As an alternative, Keith David has the chops.
-
Three new sword models for both BS and DB. Not all of the costume options are pictured here. -
Quote:I can help you out, ST. I can do it in three words: Pistol Packin' Panda.I want her to use a weapon of some sort, and I have my mind set on dual handguns.
You know, Zek... I think I hate you right about now. Five minutes ago I had no idea what to do with this character. Now I'm going to need to write a 1000 word essay to convince myself not to make a Claws Scrapper. Why did you have to do this to me?
But I can't truly dissuade you from a Claws scrapper. I have /regen and a /willpower and I'm working on a /sr. -
Perhaps you are thinking of our urban dwelling cousins. They're the ones who eat, shoot and leave.
-
Now that you've said it all I can see is Grumpy Old Panda.
"Back in my day we ate shoots and leaves! And we liked it!" -
I did some more poking and prodding with the creator and I think I've come closer to Girl Panda Who Isn't a Girl In a Panda Suit. At the end of the day I don't think there's any way to escape the Girl In A Suit look - especially staring at the somewhat static image in the creator. Running around in the city at whatever speed with the camera at distance and angle, a lot of these would fool the runner-by quite easily. That's something that I get a lot. I'll see a great costume that evokes, in this case, a certain animal - I remember a lot of puffins at one point, but when I recreate them in the costume editor being up close and personal with it I didn't feel the animal like I did in the city.
But, anyhoo, here's what I came up with. This time, looking at what the shape-disguising Baggy and Tucked In parts could offer. Diamond Blend seems to be the best option if you want a softer, furry-like, feel for the body. I used Rubber Gloves for the hands and Large>Matte for the boots to give that chunky paw appearance for the hands and feet. I'm not 100% happy with it, but it's as close as I can get to the Not a Panda Suit barring further exploration and creativity from other folks. (The transition at the waste line is particularly bothersome from the costume creator perspective.) I mostly escaped the look of Girl Face by using the blankest slate provided by the Ninja mask with the Feline overlay. It's not easy to see but on the far right I used one of the dark greys for the secondary color on the face. The black seemed a bit to defining comparatively. -
Thanks, Samuel! I think I was going for a Kung-Fu Panda like imagry there. (Fuller disclosure: he's a katana/sr.) I made him quite some time ago so I don't remember what I was looking at for inspiration. It may have been sneezing panda or it may have been Po himself. Probably Po, if I had to guess, as his name is pan-pan. I also made and deleted a version that used the Ominichi tights to get some texture on the body.
I like the middle one the most, but I will readily admit to being biased. I also remembered I had a picture of triplet pandas sitting around somewhere. It looks like they used the Belly-Tee Long to get that stripe across the chest and the bikini brief bottom. -
Mine fits more in the vein of a cartoonish version of a City of panda.
-
You can also right click on it and determine vertical, horizontal and-or other variable arrangements of the shape/layout of they.
Also.

Quote:You've got it easy. I have to come up with more than one what with so many of my characters being tied to or at least sort of related to Dauntless or knowing someone(s) in <DR>. GET OFF MY LAWN!Hmm... after five ECHO parties, I'll have to be very creative with my costume. What to wear, what to wear...
Quote:So please, join us in our 6th Annual ECHO as we celebrate The Season of Masks, and masquerade as your "echo" or "opposite" a reinterpretation or antithesis of yourself. There will be contests and prizes, good music and coverage of the party (graciously provided by The Cape Radio's own DJ Vangelus), dancing of course, good fellowship and fun.
DON'T YOU JUDGE ME. -
Knives of Artemis: We're strong, we're pretty, and gosh darnit we will kill you if you say otherwise.

On most of the powers there's going to be some artifacts left. When I started viewing the creator on test I realized I had to disable the suppression and discovered that the syntax had to be correct:
/suppressCloseFx <int>
/suppressCloseFxDist <#feet>
Meaning that it couldn't be closefx, it had to be CloseFx.
But I just verified that CloseFx 1 does suppress and 0 shows everything. -
Quote:Thanks, now I feel dumb. (Not that I should be surprised at feeling dumb or anything. >.>)
