SuppressCloseFX doesn't work anymore, at least for Elec Armor
On most of the powers there's going to be some artifacts left. When I started viewing the creator on test I realized I had to disable the suppression and discovered that the syntax had to be correct:
/suppressCloseFx <int>
/suppressCloseFxDist <#feet>
Meaning that it couldn't be closefx, it had to be CloseFx.
But I just verified that CloseFx 1 does suppress and 0 shows everything.

The syntax can be anything. /suppressclosefx, /suppressCloseFx, or even /SUPPRESSCLOSEFX, it works. On my ELA scrapper where it doesn't suppress the ELA powers, it still suppresses the leaping pool. On my Fire tanker, everything is suppressed just like before. I haven't checked other characters yet.
I play a wide range of characters and all of their effects are (were ? as I said, didn't check yet) completely suppressed with this command. No FX or anything left. Before I15, Willpower was the only powerset I've played where it didn't.
Edit : just got Lightning Field, which suppresses correctly with the /suPpReSsClOsEfX 1 command (yes, I did type it that way ). All three armors however don't suppress. Energize doesn't suppress, but this is standard behavior compared to all other powersets seeing as this is a click power.
Hello,
The title says it all. I've done a quick search and didn't find anything on it, so just throwing that out there.
Before I16, all powers were completely suppressed clientside while using the /suppresscloseFX 1 command (with /suppresscloseFXdist set as a sufficiently large number). Now, the command doesn't seem to do anything for elec armor.
This is on any of the power customization options (original, bright electricity and dark electricity).
Edit : Actually I suppose I should have mentioned this is scrapper ELA. It might be working on villain versions, for all I know.
Still seems to work properly for Tanker Fire Armor, so I suppose this might be because it's a "new" powerset.
